I went to bootcamp, then we got a dog and it all fell apart, but that’s another story. We did the groupon deal for 10 classes for $ 40 or something like that, and at that price, it was great. I don’t think I’d pay the full price for the experience. This is not a full boot camp – very few attendees(the most we saw was 5 at one time, but I’m sure this ebbs and flows). So, if you are expecting tons of people sweating it together, maybe not quite. It is in a gymnastics gym at 5:30am, which is early, but good for folk like me who want to get it over with. The thing I hated was the temperature of the gym was freezing and I found it difficult to work out in that. I’m sure most people like it, but the cold gets in my ears and I get a headache and runny nose. Hard to do push ups when your nose is gonna drip all over the place. There was a lot of circuit type work and 5 minute challenges, stair running, etc. The two people who lead the class switched it up and had some games to keep things interesting yet tough, which I enjoyed. I’m not sure how much training or credentials the leaders have – I understand they were both former members of the class, but beyond that I cannot comment Overall, it was good experience, but I cannot deal with the cold in that gym in the morning.
