The place is clean and nice. I have’t tried any food here. The drink — Jade Lemon was very mediocre. It is black tea with a piece of lime in it. I definitely had better tea from other places. Also $ 10 minimum for CC was a buzz killer for me:)

Their rose milk green tea is perfect and taro is also good, except it isn’t purple which takes away some of the fun. The only reason I would come to Verde instead of the other bubble tea places on castro st.(Jazen, Tea Era) is if I was too lazy to walk to the other places. Jazen is literally next door and they have a great happy hour. However the one big advantage Verde has is that their menu is very extensive and they are super fast. Waiting in line is kind of awkward because there isn’t much space to stand and you are literally always blocking the entrance; all of this is elevated when it is crowded. They have a $ 10 min credit so prepare to have cash or buy a bunch with your friends.

After many years of visiting verde, it has mostly become a novelty spot. The milk teas are decent but kind of underwhelming half-way through either too sugary or milky. Their fruity(try mango) slushy teas with boba are still fun though! The space is a bit cramped, crowded and unadorned so plan to walk and sip. Verde, however, is still a fun place to grab a quirky drink with friends!

I love that it have such a big space and a restaurant on the other side. Love their pastas… Such a good deal and taste sooo yummy. Milk Tea is always good.

This is your standard bubble tea place with a wide range of flavors. Milk teas were very fresh and creamy. Had a whiff of the popcorn chicken cooking and it smelt amazing. Will try it next time I’m here!

It’s nice place for bubble teas or smoothies. Love their mango freeze, pineapple freeze and summer in love. They should probably add more options in their jellies to go with the tea or smoothies.

NOTE: $ 10MINONCREDIT This rating is for the milk tea only. First off, the new place is very nice. Got the Regular sized Rose Milk Green Tea plus qq boba pearls. The tea was good and the little boba was interesting(not my preference though). The total cost was about $ 4.25. The reason I gave it 3-stars is because Tea Era(which is around the quarter on Castro St.) is soooo much better. I give Tea Era 4-star because it’s good, but not better than other places I’ve been to(like Pekoe). Therefore, I can’t rate Verde higher than Tea Era.

this is the pudding milk tea i got.(regular ice/sugar everything) why? why can’t you fill it up? someone really has to check the QC when drinks are handed to customers. i am really disappointed.

I was really sad to hear that the other location in Cupertino I used to frequent was closed!!! I was heartbroken. Where could I get my frothy milk tea now??? The mountain view location at the time was extremely far for me and I’m sorry, as much as I love boba. I wouldn’t make a 30 minute drive. Luckily, I work in MTV and I HAVEACCESSTOTHEBESTFROTHYMILKTEAEVER!!! My personal favorite is the mint milk tea because it’s close to ice cream. Verde is definitely different from the average milk tea shops because they make theirs creamier and frothy which I love! Their popcorn chicken has been really salty lately so I stopped ordering those… I wished it was all just chicken because im not a fan of the fries. Parking is street parking and there’s plenty of little lots all over downtown MTV. It shouldn’t be too hard of a find nor a walk for that matter.

Verde is one of those places that has its own unique flavor. The drink is somewhat milky, frothy, and regrettable as someone with lactose intolerance. I’m not sure I would consider it a good milk tea place, but it has its own appeal. I always go for a regular milk tea or the earl grey, which are relatively conservative options if you want to stay safe. You can get your drink with boba, various jellies, or QQ ramen, which to this day I have no idea what it is and I’m not really sure I want to. Wouldn’t say it’s worth the drive to Mountain View if you have no reason to be there, and I wouldn’t say it has the best atmosphere ever. My biggest complaint is that it has a $ 10 credit card minimum. That’s never okay. TIP: Go somewhere with no credit card minimum.

Tea and Boba is so so. They don’t take cards for less than 10 $ which is strange cause I’ve even see street food vendors accept square for hotdogs.

I’ll go to Verde only if Tea Era is closed or if I’m too lazy to go a bit further to Teaspoon. Drinks-wise, the fruit teas are standard but the milk teas seem overly creamy. If you order food, DONOT get the fried tofu! By far that is the weirdest tofu I have ever eaten — the fried skin was weirdly gelatinous and fell off of the actual tofu. I think their batter must have either been off, or just plain weird on a normal day. There’s some working space inside, which is really great if you have a few minutes to spare before catching the train, but I’ll pass on the fried tofu and milk teas.

Service is slow, they took forever to our take order at the cash register. The same person was making drinks and taking order. It seemed like they are under staff. Came here at 9:30pm on a Friday night and they ran out of regular pearls and crispy chicken. What a disappointing visit here today.

Found this new place and gave it a try. Ordered an iced mint green tea with aloe vera and Coco, and it tasted like cough syrup! YUCK!!! Worst drink ever!!! I thought there would be some real mint leaves, but nope… just syrup. I forced myself to give the drink a chance, but I couldn’t take it anymore after ¼ of the drink. It was a waste of money. I gave it one star for friendly service.

This was my first time trying a mint green milk tea and I was surprised by how much I liked it! Very refreshing! I got it with boba and 25% sugar. The boba was nice and chewy and the sugar level was just right. My only complaint about this place is it’s very dark and the tables are too close together. Might wanna take your boba to go.

Wow! Surprisingly good boba here! Got 50% sweetness and it’s just perfect — clear tea taste with a little sweet from the mini boba. Also, they give you a LOT of boba! My tummy is happy. Updated: bought a boba for study tonight. Ended up finishing it by the time I finished this review and still have NOT left the store…

Sadness… I mean it’s an awesome location and really great lighting and atmosphere. But it closes the kitchen more than 1 hour before it closes shop. QQ ramen toppings were hard and just like maroon fives song playing right now, there’s too much«sugar, you’re sweet.» Other Verde locations have been on point. I don’t know but I feel like this place could be hit or miss if I continue coming here. Again sadness…

I’ve been to Verde Tea a few times now, and so far they’ve been very consistent with their flavors and their bobas are always cooked perfectly. Pricing here is very reasonable as well, less than $ 3 bucks for many of their regular sized drinks. Personally, I always opt for their milk teas which I think have a nice, even combination of tea and milk flavors, and the sweetness is not overbearing as well. Definitely my favorite boba spot within the area! One minor negativity that I experienced was the lay out of the place. There’s just too many tables and chairs and it quickly becomes crammed inside the restaurant. But other than that, everything else was great!
