No longer Clocktower. It’s now Moksha Coffee. A little slow. Their Mexican coco doesn’t have cinnamon. .WTH?

Stick to the espresso drinks. Their cappuccino isn’t half bad. The french roast trip is less acceptable — that unfortunate combination of too weak and a little burnt tasting that is pretty common in drip coffee. WiFi is fast and free and the shop is generally a quiet, nice place to work.

One thing going for them is they’re almost never crowded. They advertise they have croissant but I have never encountered one. Only reason I went there several times was the proximity to work. Except for one person who works in the morning, staff is extremely unfriendly — they want to make sure that you know they hate their job After having their sandwich which left me with moldy taste in my mouth, I vowed never to return and I’ve kept my word since then.

This place is lame! don’t do it! was looking for a good p[lace for coffee by where i work ans stumbled across this place. their coffee is pretty uninspiring(had a latte), which i could forgive, but like other reviewers mentioned the staff there all looked miserable, like they hated their jobs. anyway, wont be going back

I just happened to be driving by the area during the noon hour today and saw the sign for this place. I had heard of this place and that I had read here on Unilocal that it had pretty good reviews. So, yes, I pulled into the parking lot and visited this place. I too agree that they are better than Starbucks as they’re not crowded at all. Also, the interior is spotless as Dan B. alluded to. Besides those two factors, their prices are pretty decent. This is a very quiet place to come to, have your coffee and do some work with your laptop or IPAD. It’s too bad that this was the one day that I left the house without my netbook. But then, I also had a job search success team meeting about an hour later. I will drop by again. That’s for sure!

The workers in here can be rude. They make you feel like you’re bothering them or something. Middlefield location is MUCH better =)

This staff is extremely rude. They always have the attitude that you are wasting their time. Place is empty most of the time in part due to the sour attitude of the employees there. I don’t know how come the owner does not see this. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

these guys are my saviors when I wake up late on a weekday! Their coffee is consistently great and reasonably priced served with great service! I love that they have quick and savory breakfast items to choose from rather than only pastries like many coffee shops

Better than Starbucks for a meeting and breakfast. It’s kind of a diamond in the rough, in that it’s a small independent coffee shop in the middle of an unending series of office parks. I was needing a place for a meeting off the Google campus by it, and stumbled on it by accident, and was very pleasantly surprised. Decent fresh baked goods, good tea and coffee, and the staff didn’t mind my sitting there using their wi-fi for a while when they weren’t busy one afternoon.

I had the best iced caramel latter ever yesterday(6⁄12) around 3pm. Don’t know the name of the girl who made it, but props to her for working a rush in a heat wave all by herself. Definitely coming back.

Stopped by this location at 1:30 in the afternoon. The two ladies behind the counter never once smiled or gave off any customer friendly vibe. Maybe I didn’t order a super cool coffee drink instead I opted for a green tea fruit smoothie, which btw was super syrupy sweet. Two stars goes to the service. Maybe there was a mad rush earlier but I don’t think it takes much energy to smile. :)

I’ve known about this little gem for many years and go here for coffee and a bite to eat any chance I get. The owner is very involved in helping Mtn. View and surrounding communities. They also have a nice meeting room behind the coffee shop, which is great for corporate events.

I guess this is an odd yet perfect place for a coffee shop. There’s really nothing else to compete with you around. Though you’re in an industrial office park. Still decent chai, outside seating for what turned out to be a great sunny day.

*3.5 stars* I prefer this location than the one on Middlefield. It’s much quieter so you’re almost guaranteed a table and there are actual working outlets to plug in your laptop if needed. I’ve come here a couple of times and had their green tea latte(smooth, not too sweet), caramel latte(I asked for one pump, which in my opinion is enough for a small) and their bagel that was topped with poppy & sesame seeds(toasted perfectly). Service is friendly and there’s plenty of parking.

I don’t frequent this location too often, maybe twice a week. It’s very convenient since it’s located in the Vineyards business complex, which is where my office it. It’s never crowded or too busy(but hopefully that isn’t hurting the business much). There is a nice array of coffee, teas, pastries and fruit. Molly is normally the barista behind the counter when I visit. She is always friendly when I come and makes sure that your drink is exactly how you want it.

I have been going to this location for past 3 years while working in the area. By far, they have reasonable prices, good coffee and friendly people. I don’t feel rushed like in a Pete’s or Starbucks shop. Yes it is out of the way for some, but in 1 block walking distance from a lot of businesses in area. Also, much better in the price area than Specialties. Coffee: $ 1.55 Standard /$ 3.95 Expresso

Why such bad reviews? I don’t get it. I go to this Clocktower location daily for my morning late’. Service is excellent as is the coffee. If you want your coffee extra hot then just ASK for it. They are not mind readers nor do they have the time to help you shop for gifts! REALLY…

I’m baffled as to why the original Clocktower Coffee on Middlefield Road decided to open a second store only a block away, and on a much less-travelled thoroughfare. Maybe they just really like this neighborhood? Anyhoo, I’ll give them one thing: they’re not crowded at all. OK, two things: the interior is also spotless and easy on the eyes. Unfortunately this Clocktower suffers from the same weak drip coffee the main store serves with a straight face.( ). If espresso drinks are your thing, perhaps they are just fine. But for better drip coffee, head to Specialties Café a few blocks away, which carries Peet’s.

How teenagers undermine your business. I was to meet some business associates here. I was so lost. I called for directions. The teenager/young adult who answred the phone simply said, «Hello?» and gave me a «duh» attitude when i asked«is this clocktower…».(so frustrating. When answering for a business state the name of the business. I was so stressed and annoyed. I hated to keep my clients waiting. I got there and had my meeting then went to but some lovely valentines gifts. They have really cute stuff there — for a coffee shop. Another teenager/young adult coouldn’t be bothered to help find more things to buy. I said, «I see those candle sticks are on clearance. What else is on sale today?!» «uHH, LIKEWHATEVER. Go to the other store and look.» OKAAAY. Its pathetic! I won’t be back.

this is in the complex where i work so it’s convenient because i can just walk there I’ve gotten pastries and coffee drinks from there… the pastries i’ve gotten are not bad. they hit the spot. the lattes are decent, but the hot chocolates or mocha drinks are not chocolatey at all! the hot chocolate tasted sooo watered down… and i’ve had experiences with the lattes not being hot enough, i had to go back and heat it up in the microwave at the office. i’ve heard horror stories about borderline stale, cuts the roof of your mouth hard breads/bagels…moldy fruits, etc… but personally haven’t not taken a chance to encounter such incidences… it’s convenient… that’s all… i wish specialty’s would move over there…
