I bought a living social deal for $ 20 and when I try to call to schedule, I get some garble on the phone and ‘to repeat this announcement press #1′. I press 1 and NOTHING happens! After a few times of pressing one I get ’ Goodbye!’ and they hang up. WTF? I will be checking with Livingsocial to get my money back. Why dont Groupon/LS blacklist such businesses from providing deals through thier channels?

False advertisement on Groupon for ‘6 weeks of unlimited classes’… –Called to activate the certificate. You can only go to one location and that location only has certain days and times. –Rep on the phone said that the deal was misleading –Some locations have multiple locations bundled but have a 4 to 6 weeks waiting list to start because they oversold the offer. –BCOR pays independent trainers so you can only go to that trainer and not multiple ones So much for unlimited classes. Thankfully, Groupon is more than happy to issue you a refund, which is exactly what I did.

I got a month of this bootcamp for $ 26 through Living Social and to be honest, I wouldn’t pay a penny more. Their website says it costs $ 139 per month but I don’t think it’s even close to being worth it. The schedule here is very limited, only a 6am class Monday through Thursday. After a 10 minute warm up, you do a series of circuits for about 40 minutes. Though the trainer has a positive attitude and uses positive reinforcement to keep people going, the workout itself is a plain jane circuit that didn’t feel challenging at all. The trainer didn’t do anything to correct form on individuals who were cheating or needed a form check. With $ 139/month, I could join a legit gym, take unlimited classes and workout at all hours. Not pay some hokey trainer to spout off some motivational phrases every 30 seconds while I do a workout that doesn’t even challenge as much as P90X. Seriously, save your money. Follow some videos with a group of friends and you’d get the same out of it.
