Whispering Firs Bed & Breakfast

What a beautiful B&B! Though only a short drive off of I-​5, the home is tucked away in a quiet romantic forest true to the Pacific Northwest. The home itself is very charming with a pleasant aesthetic and a beautiful view off the large back porch. There is even a hot-​tub on the porch that allows for a romantic nighttime soak with a glimpse of stars and moon. The hosts are very accommodating and kind; they make themselves available but also give you plenty of space, so I think this would be a good destination for both those who like to spend time engaging with the hosts and for those who prefer to keep to themselves. The room was large and decorated in a lovely fashion. It was also very clean and tidy. The breakfast aspect of the B&B was phenomenal! There were several options, and I cannot express how tasty each dish served was. Overall our B&B experience here was wonderful and I hope to come back again.
**Note: I was not only a B&B guest here, but I also had my wedding here! The owner and hostess Linda was incredibly helpful and professional. She has obviously been in the wedding business for some time now as she was prepared for every twist and turn in the planning process and helped keep me moving in the right direction when I felt lost. The venue was perfect for an outdoor wedding, was affordable, and offered catering (which was also AMAZING!). All of my guests were in awe with the beauty of the location. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the area, I cannot recommend this location highly enough.

We had a great stay at Whispering Firs Bed & Breakfast! I wouldn’t say it is everyones cup of tea, but it’s a very cozy, traditional stay for a B&B. We stayed here so we could go see the tulips and it was a wonderful stay. The owner is very sweet, and she let us have our privacy. The room is gorgeous, and surrounded by beautiful outdoor deck, with a perfect view. The only warning I have is that it is up a huge gravel road that I could see be difficult for some cars.

Linda and Vic are fantastic hosts. Corn farmers, long time locals, venue hosts, and hospitality servers. These guys do it all. Linda will ensure you are well cared for, but do not worry, she is a busy lady and will let you be to your own privacy. The house has a fantastic view of the surrounding area and agricultural land of Conway, just south of Mount Vernon. I stayed here while working in the area and had to commute up to Burlington to meet my coworkers at their standard hotel The drive was not a problem and rather a beautiful way to tart my morning as the mist hovered over the corn fields and the dahlias waved hello as I rushed by. Nicely tucked upon a hillside, the quiet reigns here. Great Wi Fi to boot!
