This place is awesome and quaint. The owner was very knowledgable. You get 8 tastings. In addition she makes two of the wines on site and we bought both, they were so good!

A great stop on the way to La Conner. Very beautiful and relaxing. Great price for a tasting and wines by the glass.

I’m not a wine person, but I do visit wineries and do wine tastings when I am on vacation or taking a drive in the country. We were in the area to see the tulips and stopped at this little winery, off the beaten path from the main tulip area. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly man who immediately handed us glasses and pointed us toward the tasting room. This meant a lot to me, since not being a wine person, I never quite know what to do or where to go and sometimes end up waiting a long time, or standing around like a moron wondering what to ask for. The tasting room was humble(pretty much a stockroom with a few tables set up) but the service was warm and gracious, informative without being too pushy, and the wine delicious! The wine tasting was free, except for the reserves, which cost $ 5(and you get your $ 5 back if you buy a bottle of reserve). We weren’t planning to spend on that level, so we just skipped the reserve table. I’m not a red wine drinker, but I liked all the whites, and hubby liked the reds. I tried all the reds, but I get the red wine headache, so even though a few tasted good to me, especially the pinot noir, I won’t drink any. Hubby really liked a couple of them and picked up a bottle. Here’s the best part: My favorite of their whites, the sauvignon blanc, was also the least expensive at $ 10. I think I actually saw a case for $ 75, but I wasn’t trying to spend $ 75 that day. We did end up getting a few different bottles to take home, and it was a fun little side trip for the afternoon after seeing the tulips.

I am going to second the previous review. This place is super cute, wonderful staff, and great wine. I found them a couple of years ago when I was up at the Tulip Festival. They are a great little Tulip Fest side trip, and if you get on their mailing list, there are a lot of fun events they have going on throughout the year. They also make an excellent ice wine!

This is a cute little winery out in Mt Vernon, and it’s worth a visit! The people working here, every single one of them, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Things may have been set up a little differently since the Tulip Festival was going on, but I really liked it. There was a table set up for whites, with some little shortbread goodies to go along with them, and another table for red. There was also an area set up for the reserve wine tasting– $ 5 tasting fee, waived with purchase(which is exactly how it should be). There was also a station with some breads and crackers and oils/sauces to taste. I liked the wines we tasted– favorites were the rose and the reserve syrah. We had a nice time here and ended up with a couple bottles of wine, and a bottle of really amazing blackberry ginger vinegar– yum! Oh, and do NOT miss the ice wine!
