The Mansion

I attended a wedding reception here. The scheduled time was 6:00 pm. All guests arrived at 5p.m. That’s 1 hour of starvation. 6:45 pm rolls around and not 1 glass OR single cocktail food item was passed around! There was 1 girl with 1 tray passing swedish meatballs around to 65 – 80 people!!! What about the other cocktail food??? What about passing a tray of drinks??? What about music???1 Bartender ??? Another showed up after 7p.m. and it was like a competition for Open Bar. Later on, food was served about 8:00p.m. by then, we are all famished. When I finally made it to the bar, at 930pm, drinks were nice and strong.
Let’s discuss the event space: Typical westchester loft space. Bar area is modern. Wood floors, flat screens, nice light fixtures. The banquet hall, is very basic. Ideal for showers and sweet sixteens. There was no actual Dance Floor. Tables had to be moved to create one. The staff was almost invisible here. Towards the end of the night, more staff showed up to work, clearing plates and being useful.
If you are bringing your own crew, this space is ideal. Again, for small functions.

Amazing Venue! Owner Kevin is an amazing business man! accomodates all of your needs! Just celebrated my moms 60^th birthday and it was well worth it. Amazing bartenders/​Atmosphere. Reasonable drinks/​coat check. Elevator available. CLEAN! Will definetly be using this space again. Two parties going on at the same time and music/​guest did not interfere with ours. Kevin you rock!
