I love this place. Admittedly it’s been a while since I was digging through the merchandise in here. However. For years it was consistently jam-packed with fun. I grew up with a mom who is an antique mall fiend, so I’ve been in more of these places than I ever wanted to be, but the first time I walked in here I knew I’d finally encountered an antiques store I liked. Awesome dishware. Teapots. I am a total freak of a teapot collector, so back when I lived in Ohio, good luck beating me to buying a teapot in this store. The huge antique spinning wheel — I wonder if that’s still there. License plates. Hats. Lots of eccentric goodness for very reasonable prices. The booth upstairs with the vintage negligees, gloves, jewelry and purses was always fun to browse through. It’s a cross between a thrift store, an antiques store, and a totally awesome yard sale. I miss this place; it’s on my pilgrimage list every time I come back. I’ve never been anywhere quite like it.
