They need to demolish this Mcdonald’s that’s disgusting flies? you kidding me its so unsanitary in that place its surreal to me, plus those fountain drinks you wanna know something they probably don’t even properly clean the inside of those or probably don’t clean them at all, the food sucks in general because what your eating isn’t good for your body plus the ingredients aren’t stuff you should be eating like soil instead of flour as a substitute or silly putty to keep the oil from burning out that’s disgusting no wonder every time I eat Mcdonald’s it makes my stomach bubble, plus I seen this video they dunked a cheeseburger into stomach acid n it turned completely black that’s what happens when you eat Mcdonald’s that is so disgusting, I will never eat there EVER again screw that, people out there can eat it all they want n get bubbly stomach n farts for n entire week after every time they eat it, im good with real food, Mcdonald’s is fake n disgusting.

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture ordered the McDonald’s restaurant on Route 940 in Mount Pocono closed Thursday after a department inspection found it was infested with insects and rodents.
A sign posted on the door by the department says «Closed by Order,» indicating the infestation.
A manager at the store, who gave his name as John, said, «we received a health department inspection, and there is an issue here that’s being addressed as we speak. We hope to reopen shortly.»
A stream of customers has been walking up to the front door and been turned away.
Several customers have pulled up to the drive-​thru, where there’s a handmade sign that reads the drive-​thru is closed.

Do not stop at this McDONALD’S!!! I’m not sure how often Unilocalers read reviews for fast food joints, but if just one of you reads this post and decides not to go to this McDonald’s, I will feel my time was well spent writing this post. First off, I’ve never been to an establishment with more flies in my entire life. I’m seriously assuming that a ton of fly larvae had just hatched somewhere in that building. That’s really the only way I could explain how there were so many flies buzzing around. Secondly, all of the workers must have been feeding off of each other’s negative energy. Talk about team miz. I did not see one single employee with a smile on their face. I realize it is unrealistic for all of the workers to be extremely happy but at least try and fake it. Lastly, and most importantly, it took close to 20 minutes to get our order, which consisted of 2 coffees, 2 sodas (which just required handing us cups since we filled them ourselves), and 1 small fry. So much for fast food! Highly highly recommend staying away from this place at all costs!

I stopped going into this McDonald’s. Every time I did the manager would call me dirty under her breath. The food was cold too. Not worth the trouble.

This is the worst MacDonalds I have ever been to. All of my co-​workers agree with this statement. Incredibly slow, rude, and slow.

It takes a good long while to get your food, a bunch of my fries seemed to be uncooked, my friend was really pissed because he’s fairly certain that this moderately long, curly hair in his sandwich box was a pube, and there was absolutely no toilet paper in the bathroom. Siiiiiiigh duck :/

If I could give zero stars I would. This is by far the worst mcdonalds I have ever eaten at. They always forget something that you ordered. When you ask for condiments they give you an attitude. The workers there are very unprofessional. The food Is stale. I always try to find something nice to say. but I can’t think of one nice thing to say about this location.

OK. Normally I woulnd’t bother with some Bs chain like McDonalds. but I HAVE to get my greivance out about this particular store.
It is complete BS that THIS one and only store decided it can charge more FOR EVERTYHING on the «Dollar» (value) menu. WHEN EVERY OTHER McD’s from Allentown to Scranton to Wilkes-​Barre has lower prices for the SAME EXACT ITEM.
Example: At THIS place the McDouble (formerly $ 1) is now $ 1.50 here… but at every single other McD’s the McDouble is $ 1-​$ 1.39.
This is NOT the only example… I just happen to usually get this item. so I know.
WHY IS THIS BRANCH SO EXPENSIVE???
Answer: (The UN-​Politically correct answer:) The «demographic» of Mt. Pocono allows for this branch to take advantage of the stupidity and lack of education and lack of MONETARY budgeting & education (I can’t say the term ***** rich… so I’ll say «nouveau riche» applies to the «demographic» — and I DON’T just mean NY’ers and Jersey-​ites.).
Basically, the «demographic», of this area NEEDS their crappy fast food and no matter what the cost is these people of a certain «demographic» will always overpay for bad food… as long as they don’t have to cook.
Yea. I know EXACTLY what THIS review sounds like… But it’s true.
NONE OF MY OTHER REVIEWS ARE LIKE THIS. or even hint at this.
Anyway… to continue… the staff is kind of sucky at this branch, too.
They seem lazy, mildly incompetent– regardless of whether I go in or use the drive-​thru. granted usually the order is right. BUT WHY DOES IT TAKE TRIPLE THE AMOUNT OF TIME TO GET IT RIGHT THAN OTHER PLACES???
(Why does a coffee and 2 dollar items take 12 MINUTES AT THE FRICKING DRIVE-​THRU???)
I’ve not had «rude» service, per se. nor would I enjoy working here… but I fricking hate this branch and their policies– MOSTLY PRICING.

I really love Mcdonalds food, and this place isn’t too bad. It’s more clean than most Mcdonalds, and has VERY friendly staff.
Every drive thru worker I’ve met has been very nice and pleasant. Never had any arguments or issues with the staff.
Also, I can’t say it’s too slow or REAL fast. It’s average. It’s not as fast as Wendy’s but it’s not near as slow as KFC.
Gives you some spare time to check your phone, but doesn’t waste your gas.
The order is rarely wrong, in fact it’s been a LONG time since they got any of my orders wrong, like years. And if they do, you simply politely ask them to get it right, and they do, no problem.
My only complaints is the bathrooms are dirty (but really all fast food places are) there is NO play place for kids and on a little too many occasions when I order Sausage biscuits (my favorite breakfast menu item) the biscuits are stale.
I now have to specifically request for soft fresh biscuits to avoid this happening.
One final problem this McDonalds has it’s in drive thru set up. There are two entrances to get in line, and this creates LOTS of road rage and confusion, people fighting to be first.
I’m shocked there hasn’t been an accident yet, they really have to block one of those entrances to avoid this.
But honestly, other than some mild flaws, it’s always a pleasant experience. The food is always good, the staff is always friendly and you can never go wrong with them delicious McNuggets

They gave us stale fries and messed up twice on our orders service was a little on the slow side. I mean no offense I guess this is the type of service you get for fast food.
