This review is for the Sweetgrass Spirits and Wine located at 920 Houston Northcutt Blvd. — And I do believe, I get the FIRSTTOREVIEW(FTR) on this business. — The owner Kara told me that they closed the North Coleman Blvd. location because it was in a bad spot for regular traffic. — So this place is AWESOME! My GF and I found this place when we were getting groceries one day and needed Bacardi for that evenings cocktails. We dipped into Sweetgrass and found Megan working. She’s a really SUPER cool chick. The owner, Kara(sorry if I’m spelling your name wrong) is also at the desk holding down the fort. Another super cool chick. Both Megan and Kara are extremely knowledgeable with what they do here. You have a question about a particular spirit? They can help. While I will always shop Kara’s store for these 2 ladies, but what keeps me going out of my way to buy from here are the prices. You literally cannot beat the prices they have here. You can go down the road 3 miles and pay more. Or you can come to Sweetgrass and pay a fair price. And they are quick to tell you that as well. Yeah, they have food to put on the table and bills to pay, but they conduct business with respect and dignity. I appreciate that. — Simply put, we love the ladies working here and they offer sound advice on whatever spirit you’re looking for.

I needed a gift for a friend who lives in SC. I found them on the internet. I called the owner, Neal, and he sold me a gift certificate and made sure my friend received it. He then sent me a confirmation in the mail. Great service over and above what was expected.
