Jeff’s Barbering

For As long as I can remember, I always went to the chain haircut places and was rarely satisfied with the haircuts that I’ve gotten. Moving down to South Carolina, I decided to try the local places and found that this place was rated 5 stars so I decided to try it out. Simply put… for as long as I live here, I will be going to this barber shop. They don’t rush your haircut to get to the next person. They take their time and give you the best quality (There were at least 5 barbers there, and I only waited 5 – 10 minutes).
I told them exactly what I wanted, and they did just that. It’s surprising how hard that can be in some places. However, if you don’t know what you want but give them a vague idea, like the kid next to me did, they do a tremendous job. I’ll probably just do that next time. I saw a kid walk with a «Macklemore-​style «haircut that you would see famous people have but he only spent $ 15. Will definitely be coming back, and hope that more people can try out this awesome place.

Just moved from Hawaii… and drove out of my way to come here based on the reviews. Was definitely pleased with the service. Only place I am going to go from here on out.

Literally just arrived after a helluva trip from way north and needed to clean up before an important job interview. Walk-​in put your name on a list and bam. Haircut and a straight razor hot towel shave later and I honestly fell like a million bucks. Gig is the man and I will return for my now once a month ritual as the newest resident of Mt. Pleasant.

A a new resident, I was seeking a professional, friendly barbershop, one that focuses on traditional barbering without the salon nonsense. After several bad experiences at other shops, I found Jeff’s. I quickly felt at home and now claim this as my ‘go to’ barbershop.
The staff is excellent and it’s easy to make a reservation or walk in and sign up for a favorite barber. The mood is light and the banter is exactly what I wanted.
They have a new, loyal customer. Thanks, guys.

We went to Jeff’s for my baby son’s first haircut and they made it so fun for him — he even received a certificate at the end. On top of it, the haircut was excellent, particularly considering my son didn’t sit still most of the time. My Dad and husband also got their hair cut at the same time — three generations of haircuts and all are very happy. Would HIGHLY recommend Jeff’s!!!

Just got a fresh cut today from Tony. This place is awesome! Friendly, inviting, and casual — what most men want in a barber shop. Inexpensive compared to most places in Mt. Pleasant, or anywhere for that matter. The only price competition would be the lower-​tier franchises like Great Clips and Sport Clips, but you won’t get a neck shave with a straight razor there, and you’ll get a lower quality haircut! Go here!

Excellent barber shop! This is as they say, an old school barber shop, and good for men and boys of all ages. It is a warm, friendly, fun and lively atmosphere! They make you feel at home from the second you walk in the door and also give you an amazing haircut. Jeff is the owner and runs a great shop! All of the barbers are great!

Great haircut, great place.

I went into Jeffs and had Russell cut my hair. He did a fantastic job. Probably the best haircut that ive had since I moved to south carolina. He paid attention to detail and actually listened when I said to take off a half inch of hair. Usually when I tell someone that they go straight in with the clippers. I had to wait a few minutes, but good things come to those who wait. Jeffs is a vintage shop with military décor and sports memorabilia. Oh, I almost forgot the best part! They straight razor around the ears and on the back of the neck, and finish it off with a hot towel. Next time I will try out an old fashioned shave.

Jeff is a master with the blade and razor/​scissors. His stories are funny and I always leave feeling better then when I got there. Even though I live in Atlanta now, the first thing I do when I come back to CHS is pop in to talk with Jeff.

I just moved to Mount Pleasant and Jeff is the first barber I tried in the area. Last time I moved, I tried out a couple of barbers in order to find one that is good. Jeff did an excellent job so I’ll be sticking with his shop.

This place is the only place I’m going to get my mop taken care of from now on!
From the professionalism and craftsmanship to the attention to detail I received at a fair price, I’m a new regular!

Jeff is a great barber. Very relaxed, and always quick with a joke or a good story. Just what you want in a barber. And he’s never failed to give me a good cut… and considering that I’m picky and he’s been my barber for 4 or 5 years now, that’s saying a lot.

Step into this friendly, down to earth barbershop for coffee, conversation and a great haircut. Jeff is a super barber who instinctively knows what to do with your hair. My DH and I stopped in and Jeff just got to work giving him a perfect cut and beard trim. We are already sending in friends. We love his support of the military — so get a cut and sign a flag. Give Jeff a try. You will be hooked!

Best Barber Shop in town!!! Great location, with good parking. The coffee, donuts and ice cream for the kids are the icing on the cake after a great haircut and shave. Friendliness is a given in this quaint, traditional barber shop.

Jeff is an amazing barber and shop has a great atmosphere of old school barbering. I honestly go for the conversation, it’s a bonus that he knows my hair and we don’t ever talk about what I want or need. Great barber, great shop.
