Really nice seeded bread, crusty and chewy but soft and not too thick and bready, this is my #1 reason coming here. Very nice people too, my 2nd reason for coming ~ 2 things i hope they will do though: — mix the cheese up with the meat for the cheesesteak after it melted on top(so the cheese is all throughout the sandwich) this might be my personal preference since I know not every place does this. –and maybe 20% more meat in the sandwiches(i will have to make use of the extra meat option instead of getting 2 sandwiches for myself) for most average people the portion should be just right to fill up from 0 to 7 on the hunger scale, any bigger guys and gals might need a little more. Will keep coming if the bread stays the same quality!

I grew up in Delaware County pa right outside west philly with a big Greek population and moved to Mt laurel a few years ago and have been looking for a good gyro, one that can stand up to the Greek festival that comes around once a year there and skylars did so my only criticism I had was to put the sauce inside the sandwich I the middle not on top, it made it a little messy to eat but delicious

Awesome hoagies for an even better price. Whenever I am craving an Italian hoagie which is basically all the time this is pretty much the only place I will go. Not only do they use fresh tasty ingredients but an entire hoagie is only 5 $ beautiful price for an awesome sandwich come check them out.

This place is fantastic! This small hoagie shop in a strip mall seems unassuming, but it’s truly a hidden gem. Looking for a change from a Wawa hoagie I found myself at Skyler’s. Most hoagies are $ 5 which is great considering they last me two meals! I am a vegetarian so it’s great that there is a cheese hoagie with lots of options to customize.

This is sandwich perfection. I get the smoked turkey on a seeded roll(you have the option of plain or seeded). Great fresh vegetables — they use those little roma tomatoes, thin slices of red onion, and a perfect amount of oil and vinegar. Not too much meat, just the right proportion for a balanced sandwich. I’ve never had their hot sandwiches and probably never will, why mess with the perfection of their cold subs? They’re not super fast(takes like 5−10min) but you can always call ahead. Their $ 5 hoagies are the best value around. If you are getting a wawa hoagie instead of Skyler’s you need to reevaluate your life!!!

Small mom-and-pop sandwich shop; takes a while to get your food but it’s worth the wait. Proprietors are super-nice and work super-hard. Love the Italian hot dog(North Jersey-style).

OVERALL: 4.4÷5 Skylers Hoagies is a great little family owned gem, worth stopping in and sampling from their menu. You may just find that this little hoagie shop wins a new place in your heart and a spot on your speed dial! I Ordered the American Hoagie — Total: $ 5.35 BREAKDOWN: Meats — Ham, Bologna, Salami Cheese — Pepperjack Condiments — Oil & Vinegar, Chipotle Mayo Toppings — Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onions SERVICE: 5⁄5 –From the moment I walked in the door for the first time, the staff made me feel at home. They welcomed me with a smile, diligently took my order noting every special request that I had. After receiving my hoagie, I paid with a credit card, they did not up-charge me a credit card fee or seem offended that I did not use cash like many places I have eaten — they thanked me warmly and I truly felt my business was appreciated. PRICE: 5⁄5 –A great Value. Knocks the socks off of Subway while having the same $ 5 price point for a foot-long. PRESENTATION: 4⁄5 –All ingredients were neatly aligned and there was no over-flow of condiments or toppings. The Hoagie was wrapped first in parchment paper and then in foil, sealed with a Dietz & Watson Sticker. The one shortcoming is they use Plastic Bags(minus 1 star for plastic waste) INGREDIENTS: 4⁄5 –Very Fresh Lettuce(They use Iceburg, which has no nutritional value — thus the loss of a star) Tomatoes were ripe(No hard, green /white cores). Meats and Cheese were all fresh(no hard /dry edges or off-smells) The bread had that«fresh baked» smell and tasted fresh — no staleness to it! FLAVOR: 4⁄5 –Great flavor profile, all the meats, the cheese, and the condiments blended together well and were complimented by the sesame seed hoagie roll. My only complaint? Too Salty. I gotta say, I must have drank a gallon of water in the hour following eating this sandwich — This Panda was THIRSTY! Will be eating at Skyler’s again.

Got a cheesesteak hoagie while traveling through for work. Wasn’t bad, wasn’t good. Nothing wrong with it, but I’d had much better. The place was busy so there are probably better choices, but unless you are looking for a slightly better version of Subway I’d try elsewhere.

A great tasting Italian hoagie at a great price. As long as I am working in the area there is no need for me to go to Primo or Wawa when I crave a hoagie. Well done Skylers. I’ll be here once a week. Looking fwd to trying some of your hot sandwiches.

When I lived in Philly, I was spoiled with all of the great hoagie options there. I thought I would never find hoagies that lived up to the ones I had enjoyed in Philly, but I have been surprised on more than one occasion here in NJ. Yes, there are good hoagies to be found here! What I love about the $ 5 Italian hoagie from Skyler’s is that it’s not gargantuan. Some hoagie places will give you more hoagie than you can feasibly eat in one sitting. That is not to say that this hoagie isn’t ample in size; it is. I’d say the roll is about 10″ in size. I could get two meals out of that. But I shared the other half with my other half. You really can’t go wrong with quality meats and cheeses by Dietz & Watson. All hoagies are made to order with your choice of condiments and vegetables, of course. I really can’t think of anything bad to say about this hoagie. It was satisfying taste-wise; size was right; price was right. They also have a list of hoagies for $ 6.00 and $ 6.50. Those are still very good prices. I don’t think you would be disappointed to try one of their cold or hot hoagies. As the 1st reviewer mentioned, they have other things on the menu, too. Worth a try!

$ 5 Italian hoagie with ham, capicola and salami on a seeded roll. Pretty good, a much better alternative to subway. Smaller sandwich than Dad’s Deli but higher quality. They also have hot hoagies, soups, salads, wings, hotdogs, and fries.
