Coco’s Coney Island Restaurant

I haven’t been at Coco’s in 6 years. Came here today for lunch had the chicken greek salad with romaine lettuce. The salad was delicious and more than enough to take home. New owner Tom is great visits with his customers making sure everything is good. Also the waitress I had was real good and friendly

My favorite place in the Clem to eat… the waitresses are by far the BEST. Food is also really good especially My Chicken Greek Salad.

I can say the food was awesome. The service sucked. The waitress told me the difference between grilled chicken pita and chicken gyro was that gyro had a different chicken meat and chicken pita had grilled meat. Really? How awful not to know what you’re serving. Also didn’t know that a coney comes with chilli on it. And never brought the soup we ordered. On top of that the waitresses gut was hanging out from underneath her shirt and she seemed lost as to what we were drinking… ugh… food was great but not worth the stress…

Food is average for a cheap coney… But they served me SPOILED MILK! EW!!! Check your milk before you drink it!

I stopped in, mainly because it’s been a while since I last visited.
I ordered a dinner of 6 oz steak with cole slaw & rice. Nothing special, but it was a good value for the money.
They have an ATM for your convenience.

I came here with my 2 year old for a quick lunch before a doctors appointment, and I wish I had just went to thai orchid like I was planning on. The service is always good here, and everything’s fast; but the FOOD is declining every time I come here. The fries are frozen and cold by the time they get to the table, and the gyro meat that was on my sandwich was literally rock hard. I didn’t feel comfortable eating it at all. My daughter grilled cheese came on wheat toast but they don’t offer anything to come with a children’s meal except French fries. As a mom this is sooo irritating I should have more than a carb option as a side item.
We won’t be coming back here after this experience. Especially since I know there are a plethora of other good restaurants in the downtown area.

Decent food and prices, but charging me for using a credit card ?
May not return just on principal.

Great food. One of the few places in the region that had grits for breakfast. Chicken Greek salad is generous in size. Good service. Spotlessly clean.

Wait staff is excellent, food is good, location convenient. The only minus — sound carries through the entire place — so it gets loud fast during peak hours.
