Four stars bc if you are there for a program, this place is freaking magical. But if you just want to stop by and take a walk and see some animals… not so much.

Fantastic place to bring your kiddos. We went this morning for one of their«Breakfast on the Farm» events. The food was honestly some of the best brunch food I’ve had in months, and certainly was very flavorful without an abundance of grease or salt. Perhaps it was so good because the eggs came from the farm itself! Other foods may have(probably did) come from the farm as well. It was all great. We ate outside and the view was incredible. Hillocks pastoral with grasses and oaks, and in the distance the beautiful lake they have on the property. Just down the hill in front of us were a bunch of friendly«baa-baas»(adults call them«sheep»). After we finished eating we were let into their fenced-in area and they strolled right up to our son for pets! This place is truly special, and our family has come away from our visits there with wonderful memories and a very happy kiddo. I think when people go on vacations, they’re chasing a feeling, and there’s so much pressure and stress because of traveling and expense. We went to Gale Woods and spent $ 20 – 30 and I wouldn’t have traded it for two weeks in Bora Bora.

This is a great place to give your kids a glimpse of the farm. Answer their questions about«where does all that food in the grocery store come from?» Get up close to the animals; try cooking foods produced on the farm; try a wool craft — from shearing the sheep to making felted slippers! Bring the grand kids or enjoy an afternoon out with your friends — better yet, volunteer! CLOSED??? THEYARENOTCLOSED!!!
