I wrote a review for this company back n October, it is Febuary 2013 and i just saved up enough money to get my screen fixed bcuz the guy wanted me to pay half upfront, left my computer a him for like 2 months and he kept saying he couldn’t find the right screen to fit computer and for me to go online and find onlind and then he will install it, so i just walked out with my computer still broken and he took money and said he was keeping it for Labor. It is now Febuary i took my computer to Dixon computer repair n Jonesboro and they fixed it n a week flat and didnt over, charge me. went back showed the guy it was fixed, and he just acted like he dont know y i am upset… bad business, would never come here again, i don’t think this review will b helpful bcuz people won’t care on this side of town… Horrible i want to report this guy to BBB bcuz he shouldn’t b allowed to operate a business.

I don’t recommend this place at all. I recently took my computer here after I was having problems with it locking up. I told the guy I work nights and to call me after 5pm if he needed to call. he said he would look at it and call me the next day. 3 days later after not hearing from him I finally called him and he tells me my mother board is bad. So I negotiated a price to put in a new motherboard, a new case becuase the new motherboard wouldn’t fit in my case, a new power supply and to upgrade the ram. 2 days later he calls me during the day to let me know it’s done. So I make the arrangements to come get the computer the next day. So after 6 days I get my computer back, when it was origonally supposed to take 2 days max. At least that’s what he told me. So I get my computer home and my son hooks it up and comes to me a bit later and say’s «you know your hard drive is blank?» And I’m like«what?» So I go and look and sure enough it’s blank. I tried to call the store but it was closed. I left a message and the guy calls me back the next morning. He say’s «well, I told you I was gonna do that», and I’m like«what?» because I couldn’t believe what he was saying to me. He most certainly did not tell me he was gonna wipe my hard drive. he says he told me it was gonna be a fresh start and never once said anything about wiping my hard drive. We were talking about the operating system and I did understand he would re-do that. No problem. I said to him, well maybe when your talking to a computer literate person, that’s what that means, but to the average person who doesn’t know that much about computers, I mean, maybe it’s just me here, but when you say it’s gonna be a fresh start, that doesn’t mean to me «I’m gonna wipe your hard drive». I did some research into this and in all cases, the very first thing it says is «BACKUPYOURHARDDRIVEBEFOREYOUDOTHIS.» I did have some stuff backed up, but once it started locking up I couldn’t keep it running long enough to actually save some other stuff I had on there. I think a good computer shop would have at least discussed options to do this, or would have backed it up first then once the restore is done, put it back on there. Not a big deal. But, for this place, apparently it is. The new operating system he also installed on my computer is xp home and I had xp professional installed on there. When I asked about it, he says, «no you had home on there, I put home back on there.» I know what I frickin’ had on my computer and it was professional. I’m not a complete idiot. Also I don’t know what kind of motherboard he put in there, because I can’t find a name on it, just made in China, but he charged me about $ 225 for it. Even an ASUS motherboard doesn’t cost that much. The system fan stays on high the whole time but it doesn’t seem like it’s running hot. I can’t get the fan to slow down. Even speed fan won’t slow it down, so I don’t know. But to his credit, my computer is screaming fast now. Do your self a favor. Just stay away from this place. It’s more trouble than it’s worth.
