Lots of help-just the day I went in for food to go-only 1 was working-rest were screwing around. Went inside to order-as drive thru line was long-only 2 customers were inside-by the time I got my food-drive thru line was empty. A joke. Wont be back.

Awesome drive through service at 11pm on a Saturday. Cheerful and thorough with taking and delivering our order.

Fast food should be fast, right?! Not here! This is the slowest drive-thru in the world! You’ll spend ATLEAST15 minutes in line. I live less than 5 minutes away and I can drive there and back twice in the same amount of time it would take me to go through the whole line. It’s insane! This place needs to get it together!

Honestly, about 90% of the time I come here it’s between 10 and 25 minutes through the drive thru. I’ve been skimped on ingredients and the wrong order plenty of times. The staff seems overworked; most of the time they’re friendly and helpful, so I’m guessing the occasional grouch is likely due to the pressure. Breakfast is the best time to go, too bad it isn’t open early enough for me most of the time. The breakfast food is decent and better than the other fast food options in town at least.

Lately there have been really long lines at the drive-thru, so I have been going inside. Timing is everything, sometimes there are tons of high school students and the line is just as long inside as outside. I usually get a beef chalupa, a couple of beef taco supremes, some chips(no cheese), and a soda. I like that they offer an XL soda, wish it was the Coke family instead of Pepsi, though. I am usually not disappointed, although the chalupas are often too cold by the time I eat them, I have to remember to eat them first. Hit and miss people at the window of the drive-thru. They usually get my order correct, even with the special orders. I have tried their breakfast, wasn’t impressed. I usually dine at the drive-thrus up the hill, but I sometimes get a hankering for Taco Bell. Happy that they are in town. Update: Removed a star because literally every time I order a chalupa it is hard and cold. I even talked to the manager about this and he gave me one for free. Even that one was bad. I won’t be ordering those any more. Their tacos are great, that will have to be my go-to menu item.

Tired, weary, and hungry, I stumbled into Taco Bell. I ordered a crunchy taco and upon first bite I felt instantly rejuvenated and motivated! I can’t tell you enough about the wondrous elixir that is a Taco Bell taco. Thank you Taco Bell. I once was lost and hungry, but now am found and full!

Slooowest Taco Bell anywhere. I’ve waited 20 mins for two bean burritos. This was with no line inside or at the drive through. They were perfect though. Learn to balance speed and quality and we’ve got a winner.

I will indulge at Taco Bell every so often, but this Taco Bell service is extremely slow! It took me 25 minutes to get through the drive through, and there were only 3 cars in front of me. But, Kevin who works there is awesome and friendly, and I will continue to go back, because it is Taco Bell, and the food remains consistently delicious.

OK it’s Taco Bell — the food, price, décor, everything is known — what sets the Morro Bay Taco Bell apart is the speed. This is the slowest Taco Bell by far, on the planet. By the pace that other Taco Bells move — the food prep area here looks like slow motion. The good news is that few people eat here; if it had a normal crowd by LA standards, traffic would stop. No wait, very often the drive thur line is maxed out. Yikes — it’s a good thing Morro Bayers live at a slower pace. You gotta love this place — I will keep coming back. I am looking forward to time that Taco Bell employees make $ 15 an hour — that would be a job worthy of a faster pace.

It shouldn’t take 10 minutes to get through the drive through on a Wednesday. I guess I shouldn’t expect much — it is Taco Bell!

I’ve gotten food poisoning the last 3 times I’ve eaten here, and the bathrooms are always disgusting. I don’t recommend it.

Worst Taco Bell ever. They staff are all retarded. I was in the drive thru with 3 other cars and it took 30 minutes to go through. I’m not sure what they are doing inside cause when I pulled up to the window they only had 4 orders on the screen and about 6 staff inside so I’m not sure why it takes 30 minutes for fast food. Definitely over this location

It’s a Taco Bell, it’s food, it’s still open at 11pm when the only other option is to go to the grocery store and get something frozen to nuke. I’ll take it.

The worst Taco Bell around. Staff seem incompetent to make the line in the drive thru move. Avoid if you can.

As far as Taco Bells go this location was pretty great. Clean facilities and friendly service. As I picked up my food from the counter the guy who rang my order informed me he messed my order up and gave me three complimentary tacos with my correct order. This was pretty cool considering he could have just thrown the messed up ones away. I’m not saying I’m a Taco Bell pro but I am saying this location is on point. Might want to avoid the drive through however as it is one of the first fast food joints in a long stretch, but like I said its very clean on the inside!

No!!! Don’t go here!!! Seriously, I have nothing against Taco Bell, BUT this location is terrible. Its suppose to be fast food. So why did we wait in the drive thru line for nearly 25 minutes??? We were in Morro Bay for a day/night, we had already had two amazing seafood meals, so we thought we would just grab something for a quick snack. Nope, bad idea. We got pinned in the drive thru line, we couldn’t back out or move forward. At first, we thought that they had a problem with the computer(ordering system), so we tolerated the wait. Just when I was going to get out of the car and go see what was going on inside, the line moved one car. There was like 9 cars and counting in the line behind us. So at this point, we thought the front car had a long and complicated order. Nope, when we FINALLY got up there… the teenager at the window was rude. When we asked if there was a problem… why was it taking so long, he just looked at us like we were crazy. We just wanted to know what had caused us to be in line for 25 minutes. Nope, no reason. Food was OK… its Taco Bell… We drove by that Taco Bell twice more during our stay in Morro Bay, the drive thru line was overflowing both times. We have concluded that it is just that way at this location. The locals must be use to it, as they didnt seem to care. We won’t go here again, its suppose to be fast food. If I wanted to wait that long for food, I would have gone to a restaurant. BOO! Thumbs down!

Located just off the highway near Morro Bay. Convenient place to stop by for some nibbles. The tortillas here were fresh-the kids ate up their bean burritos and I’m telling you they looked homemade! Wow!

The Good: Got the griller box. Better portions than typical Taco Bells. Nice new building. Good service. Chill atmosphere. The Bad: Took longer than usual.
