This is not my usual Starbucks spot but I am dogsitting for a week and surprised by how nice the staff is. By day 3 the girls recognize me and know which order is mine. The place always look clean and organized even during the crazy morning rush. I have tried the online ordering and this place is the only location so far who has had my drinks ready in the timing estimate given online. I would give the place 5 stars if only the service was a little quicker on the weekends. Weekdays I am in and out in 3 – 5 minutes whether there is a long or short line. Weekends the lines are always long, which is good for them, but it takes over 10 min from the time you walk in to the time you walk out if your getting anything more then just a plain coffee. Thank you Starbucks staff for keeping me happy and moving in the morning!

Starbucks is Starbucks. Can’t go wrong with morning coffee or afternoon pick me up. Except this particular location has the worst customer service. The gals working there are so rude and curt, it’s enough to make me drive to another Starbucks. Shameful they ruin what every other Starbucks strives to perfect which is customer service. Will not be coming back here. Never met such rude people working at a job in my life.

If you seen one Starbucks you seen them all. Stopped here earlier today around 10AM. The place was pretty packed. About 6 to 8 people in line ahead of me, it took about a minute or so to get my order and then I was already on my way out the door. Service was good and please seemed pretty clean. I ordered a Carmel frappuccino it was nothing less than what I would expect. Also a roast beef sandwich though a little disappointed that it didn’t look like it did in the picture, but I guess that’s what happens at every fast food joint. It had less meat in it than a Subway sandwich. Though i’ll admit it was tasty. It’s a nice location right across from the green, I’d definitely go there again.

Parking is definitely a big problem here but as far as Starbucks goes, this one is run really well! I NORMALLY love my drinks, but If you have a problem with the taste of the espresso/drink, 9 times out of 10 it is the machines! Starbucks ALWAYS has issues with their machines and yet they don’t say anything to the consumer and charge the same for a drink whether the machine makes great shots or bitter ones and great froth or terrible! Then, if you taste your drink and know that it doesn’t taste the same as it usually does you feel like sh#t asking them to make it again! If you are lucky, you will get the barister who acknowledges that they are having a problem with their machine(usually happens that way in Morristown and Chatham) OR you can get the b*tchy one(Short Hills, Denville and Madison) who first tells you he/she made it exactly the way you asked or tells you how you should have asked for it, rolls their eyes or grunts :) As far as customer service, I usually have 2 Starbucks a day and will be there again to grab someone else in the office something. Morristown Starbucks ALWAYS knows my name, drink and if I am getting for family — their drinks too! They always ask about my kids! The worst Starbuck offenders are SHORTHILLSMALL, Madison and Denville! The rudest is Short Hills Mall and Denville! I don’t think I have ever had a drink from the Short Hills Mall that tastes like Starbucks intended it too! Short Hills Mall Starbucks should seriously start over again! Their employees barely move(except to talk to each other) and again, NEVER get the drink right! I understand it is in a mall, but then employ the right amount of people and ones who want to work, rather than stand around and gossip all day! I am giving the 4 stars to Morristown because of the customer service, the quality service and the amount of time I am on line. I am taking away 1 star because I hate having to deal with the parking and sadly enough the homeless and drunks from the shelter across the street! Morristown has great employees! This is also the Starbucks that I go to the most! I will go out of my way to go here, rather than one in the area!

This Starbucks is exactly like the TV show cheers where everyone knows your name. And not only do they know my name, they know my drink order. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fun.

i do my own espresso at home, and can get liquid nirvana most of the time pretty well. my wife got an iced coffee while we were walking down south st. it was bitter as heck.(good coffee is not bitter, that’s usually underbrewed coffee, or wrong coffee to water ratio) it also took a bit to get the order. it was memorial day, so i sat down on a nasty uncleaned table along with other ppl who were either writing a horrible novel or chatting up a storm. why go here? across the green is a coffee shop…

The parking here can be incredibly difficult. I recommend telling people who wish to meet you at the Starbucks to add additional time to their anticipated arrival. I let people know that they can give circling the green a go, but they may eventually have to resort to the parking deck behind the Starbucks. The advantage of the parking deck is that you can pay upon leaving without having to worry about parking meters. the place is almost always packed, and there is almost always a long line. this is not the kind of place you can quickly go grab a cup of joe on the run.

Look, there are two independent coffee shops in Morristown. Support the local businesses before giving your money to a corporate golgotha that you can find anywhere else. And this Starbucks has a particularly cold atmosphere.

5 stars for you Starbucks MoTown! You are a socially responsible company and it is reflected by the way you treat your employees and work with the community. I will continue to give you all of my money. This used to be the old Gap. I folded pants here in the 90s and early 2000s. It’s a pretty great space now. Product up to standard. Friendly staff. Will be back next time I am in town.

It’s a Starbucks and it gives me what I’ve come to expect from Starbucks… consistent quality, decent service(hopefully with a smile-which I got tonight), and enough caffeine to jump start a tank. I love my coffee, but after being here only once I can’t give it more than three stars. This place is a little small, but I wasn’t sticking around so it was just the right size for what I needed… which was coffee!

This starbucks is typical which is good b/c its consistent. So if you have been to starbucks before, they make their drinks consistently here. Not like some other places that get spotty. The only down side is if you don’t like homeless people, they like to hang around here but they can be amusing to watch or talk to as long as you don’t get one of the crazies.

I am motivated to give Starbucks three stars to take moment to note the ridiculousness of some reviewers being offended by people from the Mission coming to get coffee there. I heard that money talks in America. So if someone comes to Starbucks n buys a coffee they have a right to sit and talk to friends. It does not matter to me if the person is carrying a fancy Mac computer or a couple of apples in a plastic bag, I am heartened to hear that Starbucks accepts all people. People who are homeless or even just«different» should not be treated like freaks but as people.

If you are going to take your Starbucks or your newspaper to go, it’s fine. If you are looking for a place to sit and sip, this is not the place. 50 feet from the Morristown Mission, this Starbucks is the all-day hangout place for the large local population of homeless. On my first trip to this Starbucks I encountered the infamous«Mud Lady,» but I’ve only seen her in there once. On another trip, I was lucky to get a seat, because 10 homeless people were gathered in a circle in all the seats in the front. None of them was drinking a Starbucks drink, but they were all talking raucously, except for one lady who was taking a nap.

Free wifi! They have great tazo iced tea. Also, the iced coffee is great. I like it with an energy boost and some whipped cream and some caramel. Also, the baked goods are really good like the munchkins or other little tasty treats. It is the major coffee spot with free wifi and a great place to hang out.

Bearing in mind 3 stars is the most I’ll ever give Starbucks(because well … it’s Starbucks), this is the best one I have set foot in! It’s immense with tons of seating and tables to do work at, and it looks pretty nice. Plugs are in no short supply here. It’s very clean, including the bathroom, even at the end of the day. The music is not overwhelmingly loud. Staff are all very friendly and efficient. Besides that it has all the Starbucks standards: free wifi, mediocre coffee, espresso and food. So, if you need a place in the area to study or catch up with a friend(please, DON’T have a 1st date at Starbucks), this is a pretty safe bet.
