After years and years of doing my laundry at my apartment complex, I’m now a loyal customer at The Laundry, a.k.a. The Dirty Come Clean. Since I am a wheelchair user, the fact that TDCC’s washers are all front-loading makes life so much easier.(The laundry at my apartment complex has two front-loading washers; the rest are top-loading.) Also, the restroom at TDCC is wheelchair accessible, which I can’t recall seeing at any laundromat in Morgantown in the 20+ years I’ve lived here. The only reason this doesn’t get five stars is that one of the credit card pay terminals crashed on my last visit, and I had to get help to use the other one, which is higher up on the wall. Also, the parking could use improvement(marked handicap space with a loading zone, please?) But all in all, this is a big improvement from how I had been doing laundry day … even if I have to drive a little farther.

This place is hands down the best laundry mat in Morgantown. It’s open 24⁄7 and has free wifi, so it is very convenient for college students. There are three different sizes of washers: one that is a normal size, then you have two sizes of express washers that are done in roughly 30 minutes: one that holds 3 loads($ 4) and one that holds 6 loads($ 8). There’s also a huge one that holds 9 loads that costs $ 10, if you ever have the need to use it. There’s one size of a dryer, and its 50 cents for 28 minutes. You can add more time if you need to. Huge plus is that you can use coins or card, and its very easy to operate. Building is clean, washers and dryers are brand new, and they have folding tables and free parking! Best place in town.

Had to drop it down, no wash and fold service anymore, but other than that everything remains very solid and a good place to do your laundry.

This is the new laundromat on Brockway which took a while to build. It used to be a High Life Casino. Frankly, a laundromat is a big improvement, much more socially useful than a casino in my opinion. Anyway, it’s $ 2.50 for a small washer cycle of 27++ minutes(about 40 minutes in reality) and 50 cents for 15 minutes in the dryer(I would put in an additional 75 cents into the dryer on top of that to fully dry my clothes). You can pay with coins. There’s also a change machine here. You can supposedly download a smartphone app called EasyPay to pay with a credit card, but I have not figured out how to do it. I think you have to scan a QR code on the washer to do it. The best part of this laundromat is that the washers and dryers are really brand-new, modern, and efficient. The second best part is that it’s well-lit and there are no creepy people. Also, there are trolley cart things to push your clothes around in. There is a detergent vending machine that I cannot figure out how to use. The snack vending machine seems to work, though. There’s also parking space and a restroom.
