I absolutely love coming here! Ciara is AWESOME! I seem to always change my mind on color and she flows with it so well (I have thick hair so I know it’s annoying doing highlights) but she really is amazing. I even bring my kids here to get their hair done instead of taking them to some cheap shop that will mess it up and my daughter who’s 8 loves the whole experience. My son who’s 10 is very vocal in what he wants and she dose wonderful with them. This place really does deserve 5 star’s. I’ve been coming here now for almost a year and a half. I’ve never been one to have a regular stylist who I see because I couldn’t stand them but now I do and I love it. ASK FOR CIARA WHEN YOU COME HERE! She’s amazing!!!

I got my hair done by Ciara today, and it was an awesome experience! We did a cut and color — balayage highlights and very light ombré because I wanted to darken my brassy ombré from before and keep it natural looking. She made sure to ask exactly what I wanted beforehand and pulled out a few swatches of color to show me what she was going to do. After 2 hours, I left with trimmed and beautiful, rich looking dark hair, which is exactly what I asked for.
My friends all loved it and I loved it! Ciara knows what she’s doing and is just so nice to chat with. She told me it was going to look very rich, and that’s exactly the word my friend used later to describe my hair :)
Her prices are also just unbeatable compared to the Bay Area. An honest, talented hair professional — what more can you ask for? I will definitely be coming back and recommending her to all my friends!

Melissa Herman is the amazing! I have been going to her every 5 – 6 weeks now for the past 3 ½ years. We have done many things to my hair and I always walk out of the salon loving it! She is a fantastic person in general and an awesome hair dresser! If you are blonde look no further, she is it!

Melissa Herman is amazing! I wanted purple in my hair for years and she gave it to me without killing my hair. She’s punctual, always happy to see her clients, she’s quick and super efficient. I leave her chair smiling from ear to ear and snapping selfies all the way home. Don’t waste time with anyone else TRUST me!

This review is for Ciara. This was my first time visiting the salon (thanks to my fellow Unilocalers). I decided to give Ciara a shot. She colored my hair and gave me a haircut. I loved the color she put on (a warm brown over my grown out ombré). She was very accommodating that I was 20mins late to my 5:30pm appointment. The only reason I knocked off a star was that she used a razor to cut my hair. I know… that’s a bit unfair of me but a perfect hair stylist, to me, would only be using shears. I get freaked out when they pull out razors… yikes. Either case, she did a good job with my layers and bangs. I love the awesome fact that my haircut came free with the coloring (I paid $ 100 total with tip), so there’s no room for complaint even if I hadn’t liked it. But I did… and I’m happy with my ‘do. She even offered to trim by bangs for free if it grew out. NICE!

I needed a new stylist and found Ciara. She did a color, summer haircut and blow dry. The price surprised me for all services — very low for the quality of service so I gave a big tip to make up for the difference I would have paid to my previous stylist.
The environment was calm, the music low key, and Ciara used gentle touch on my sensitive scalp. I will go back for future services!

I got a facial by Susie and it was amazing! I’ve never had one before and I was a little nervous. But it felt so good and my face is glowing! I also get my waxing done by her and she always keeps my brows looking perfect!

Melissa corrected my horrible box dye job last night and gave me such natural looking highlights. Everything I hoped for but couldn’t explain.

I found Michelle (through a friend) while seeking someone to do my bridal hair and make-​up. We talked on the phone and I felt so comfortable that I booked her. Today was my first time in the salon and I instantly felt comfortable — probably didn’t hurt that I soon realized we had gone to school together!
Curly hair friends, Michelle gets us! She’s even one of us!!!
I can’t wait for the wedding. I know Michelle and the rest of the staff will do wonders on the bridal parties (and picky mums) makeup and hair.

Top knot is a really good salon, the staff there is really nice. The service is good. I got my hair done by Ciara, she colored it and style it and i love my hair and the products she used on my hair made it feel healthy then before.

Top Knot is a great addition to our town and so conveniently located. The friendly staff is exceptional in their respective crafts and beyond approachable which can be hard to find in top end salons. If your looking for a new place to try you won’t be disappointed. Whenever I need a shampoo/​blow dry, Michelle makes my hair look incredible. It’s a little slice of heaven!!!
