Mr Pickles

I LOVE this place! I am so glad we have a Mr. Pickles in Morgan Hill! The Mr. Pickle is my absolute favorite sandwich to get there and their macaroni salad is amazing as well. The service has always been fast and friendly for me!

Great service and great sandwiches it’s nice to have somethings different from togos and subway. If you don’t know what to get just get the Mr.Pickle. I come here a little to regularly so they kinda just know what I want every time I walk in lol.

I love their sandwiches! Everything I’ve gotten there has been great! I’m always excited to go back. It’s the best pick up and go sandwiches in town. The service is a bit slower because I feel they take their time to get the sandwiches right. Everyone is super nice and friendly to me. Free cookie too! Yay!

Not really sure what the big fuss is about. Hubs use to frequent one of these on the peninsula and brag about the Tony Soprano. I’m not sure if they have since chained up and couldn’t use the name anymore but it was no longer on menu. Somewhat pricey for what you get. Honestly I think some of the Safeway delis do better with selection, freshness, variety and size offered. Sorry I tried.

I love this place. They always make my sandwich with care. I always get it just the way I want it. You should check Mr Pickles out if you have a chance!

Mediocre sandwiches with slow service.
I went here a bit ago, but never got around to reviewing it. But… sadly to say, I don’t think I’d ever come back. My friend had ranted about how Mr. Pickles had good sandwiches. but I was not impressed. Maybe it’s just this location?! Who knows.
Anyways. the service was slow, and while the worker there are decently friendly, they’re busy scrambling around looking for stuff. Maybe train your employees better so that they’re more prepared?
Onto the sandwiches. so I ordered the mr. Pickle sandwich, which they recommended to me. however, I wanted it on Dutch crutch, which they ran out. Okay, no problem I’ll go with just regular white. My boyfriend ordered the BLT — bacon lettuce and tomatoes.
When we got back home to eat our sandwiches, it was soggy and covered in sauce. I normally like a lot of sauce on my sandwiches, but it seemed like it was just squirted in the middle and not spread out evenly. The chicken in my sandwich wasn’t juicy and kinda dry. My boyfriend said his bacon sandwich was mediocre and could’ve been something made at home.
Maybe I came at a bad day, but I wasn’t impressed.

Good food fast friendly service, pet friendly. clean store. Got the chicken ranch with avocado. Ate it all before I could get a pic. Yup it’s that good

I was thrilled when I saw Mr. pickles opened up in Morgan Hill. I used to go there sometimes when I lived in downtown Los Gatos. There always seems to be a line and a bit of a wait whenever I go in. But the staff is super friendly and does their best to politely take care of you. I’ve been there three or four times now since they opened and never had a bad sandwich. I did go in late one night right before closing and they ran out of cookies. But I for gave them :-).

Their sandwiches are so delicious I have been here 3 times and each time the workers are very friendly too. I feel like you get a lot for your money too, they don’t skimp on the sandwiches. Everything tastes very fresh especially the pickles! The meat tastes fresh too, it’s around $ 8 for a huge sandwich. For $ 5 they have kids sandwiches that come with applesauce, juice, cookie and a toy– great value for 5 bucks!

The staff was very friendly and looked like they enjoyed their job! As for the sandwiches, it wasn’t that great and the salad was boring and dull looking! Don’t know why they call it Mr Pickles cause we didn’t get any pickle! Might be a good idea to serve a «gourmet» pickle with the meals

So excited about this place! To start, the staff is so nice. I met the owner and you can tell she is dedicated to what she does. Now to the sandwiches… Amazing! Highly recommend the place.

My fiancé and I were excited to try this place and we left fully satisfied. The sandwiches were huge & the variety of fresh bread was a big plus. I love that they have local favorites on their menu. Right when we walked in the owner was super helpful! We were first timers and she explained everything which was great! We’ll definitely be returning customers!
*only slight downside was that the dressing was a little runny making the sandwich a little messy but still super yummy!

I got my first sandwich here because everyone said it was so good. It was okay. It got the ranch chicken sandwhich. The bread was good. That’s about it. The chicken wasn’t good and when I opened my sandwich after already eating half I noticed the chicken was GREY in color. Ew. I’m lucky I didn’t get sick. The sandwich overall was what ever. I was left unsatisfied. I will stick with nob hill sandwiches.

I’ve tried the Mr. pickles in Los gatos & Campbell and I really wanted to like them but never found a sandwich I liked!
This location just opened up my house and I have it another shot, I’m in love!
If you don’t like their sandwich selection, I have 3 words for you… Build your own!!! Hello? Why didn’t I try it sooner?! You can’t go wrong. I especially love the ditch crunch bread because it isn’t super rough on your mouth and had a slight sweet taste to it. I personally love the #4 I think it’s called Toms Turkey.
Also you can pay 99 cents for a pickle on the side that is huge. PLUS they give you (what tastes like) a fresh baked cookie.
PS. You can order half of a sandwich. I usually can only eat half anyway.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how friendly everyone was. Made me happy that I made a right decision to come here.
I ordered the Locals Favorite, «The Bulldog.» It had roast beef, salami, pastrami and something else I can’t think of on a Dutch Roll. I got it the hot version and it was mouth watering. It made me forget about Subway and To-go’s.
The added touch at the end when you pay is a complimentary chocolate chip cookie.
Final Thoughts: Great Service and Food, You bet your butt I’ll be back!

Fantastic sandwich shop in MH. Best Reuben Sandwich in all of MH, #16, free cookie with meal. Friendly clean place.

So so sad :(if you know me at all, you know I live for a good sandwich. That being said, Morgan Hill is seriously lacking in that department. We were so excited to see Mr. Pickles coming in… Only to be disappointed once they finally did. Le sigh…
So, to start off, their employees are completely void of any personality and customer service. For a brand new store, you have to expect that people have never been to mr. Pickles before. A little guidance, understanding, or heck, even a smile would go a long way! I saw reviews for a sammy called «the abbott» at another mr. P in los gatos, so i asked if they could do that here, and the lady told me with a sassy face «uh no. You must be thinking of erik’s deli». Duuuude.
So i created my own. Dutch crunch, garlic sauce, turkey, swiss and avocado. For $ 8.25, and to make up for shitty attitudes, this baby better be good. (Spoiler alert, it was barely average. I can make better sandwiches at home).
Hubs got #3 the italian. Dutch crunch. «Everything». He said it was good… And that it would hold him over until we can get back to Ike’s in santa clara.
So in summary, I’m super sad. Still searching for a good sandwich in MH. For over $ 8 a pop, you better load those babies up with signature sauce, and serve them with love. They aren’t selling themselves.

Stoked to have a new Mr Pickles in Morgan Hill! They have great, unique sandwiches with fresh bread and a bomb garlic spread. They have about 20 specialty sandwiches or a build your own sandwich menu. Probably the best deli in town now.
I’d compare to a «poor mans Ike’s Place.» 4.25 stars
