It is semi charming. The wine vault is cool. The wait staff has no personality. I ordered a $ 5 pilsner from the menu, the waitress offered a pilsner on draft without mentioning the $ 3 extra charge for it… I couldn’t tell you her name or what specials they had… Its small and the back food prep/bar/counter/cash register area is cluttered… I don’t know if I will try it again… It was not crowded or busy… Just not the best service…

Nice little venue. Good selection of wines and nice appetizers. Would love a bit more food but this place is not a restaurant, it’s a wine bar. Definitely recommend Bubbles to wine lovers, nothing beats the local wineries but this is a good place to start.

I really enjoyed the easy pace and friendly atmosphere of Bubbles. Staff was polite, prompt and knowledgeable about their wives. By my own accord, didn’t try the food menu much, but the Smoked Salmon crostini I did try was fantastic. I’ll definitely come back.

What a cute wine bar. Actually more than a wine bar. Most wine bars offer just charcuterie plates and dessert. This place has actually real full size appetizers. The service is awesome. Happy hour, I think is $ 5 or $ 6 wines and appetizers. Love it ! And, great French press coffee!

We love Bubbles, the food and wine choices are excellent. BUT, yesterday evening(Wednesday) after a lovely Italian meal, we thought we would stop by Bubbles for an after dinner glass of wine. It was not quite 8.30 and as we drove up, the member of staff outside said they were closing! Really? Not everyone goes to bed at this time! We made our way down to 88 Keys where the bar was open and we spent a pleasant hour there.

First time tying this place out and it was for happy hour. Everything about this place is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, staff, quality of food, wine, and especially the prices! I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to my friends and family. :) $ 25 for 4 glasses of wine and a fruit, nut, cheese, and cracker platter. Great deal!

Friendly Staff! Comfortable atmosphere to be in, especially on a Sunday afternoon! I’d come back here next time and try their 2 for $ 404 coarse dinner.

Not sure what happened but we got sat down and decided to sit on the patio. This was around 530 pm tonight. Mind you they were not that crowded… sat down and after 15 mins was wondering if anyone was going to help us… finally someone asked if we wanted water. so we took the offer. Waited another 5 mins. no one said ill be right with you. We were afraid how long it would have taken for wine and food so we got up and left. Funny that the staff saw us leave and never said one word to us. It gave us the impression you don’t care. If someone would have said(sorry) let’s do this right we probably would have stayed. They just watched us leave no smile no nothing. Very disappointed

This was my third time at Bubbles. I always seem to find myself here after a stressful week at work! It was a Friday and it just so happened to be happy hour! $ 5 white and red wine, beer, and selected appetizers. I had the Cabernet from paso Robles, the pork and bratwurst sliders. These came with a side of chips and a slice of pickle. We also ordered the Brie crostini. My friend had the beet and goat cheese arugula salad. If you like arugula go for it. Everything was spectacular. The owner, David, walked around and e said hello to my friend and I. We work in education and we talked about how great Bubbles is to decompress with great wine and food! What made me smile was when David said, «you can bubble your troubles away.» Definitely will be coming back!

This is the perfect place to take a date or have a fun girl’s night out. They have an amazing selection of drinks and food. I love the flat bread pizzas. My favorite is the Mediterranean flatbread. The brie crostini and hummus platter are a must have too. And don’t forget to try their desserts. The Cheesecake and flowerless chocolate cake are both so delicious. The Owner and Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely continue coming here, and I recommend this place to everyone!

Staff are friendly but the food was hit and miss. Wine selection was OK but not great. Seemed very over priced for what it is.

Thank you David, yes we particularly loved the flat bread pizzas. I must add that we liked the décor as well. The bank fault is a clever idea.

They have a great happy hour Here with $ 5 wine and some 5 $ apps. They have extensive wine list and what is also nice a large selections of «small plates, and salads» We havealso always had great service. The ONLY reason I give 4 stars is they are limited to 1 table outside if you have your 4 legged friend with you, which we always do since its so close to a great dog park… If We drive by and see someone at the 1TABLE we have to pass even if there are PLENTY other open outside tables :(not sure what is up with that when all the other places in MH are so dog friendly. We HOPE one day they change this policy. and we can stop by more often.

I’m definitely a fan! After driving by about a billion times, we finally decided to check it out. It has a nice homey, cozy vibe. They have a great selection of wines and cheeses(two of my favorite things in life) along with a pretty extensive food menu; definitely more than I was expecting for a wine bar. I got the sparking flight and the boyfriend got the Pinot Noir flight along with a cheese plate. Perfect for a predinner snack. Next time we go, we will definitely check out the rest of the menu. My only critique is that the water tasted a bit funky… like the tank or pitcher or whatever they’re using got a bit moldy. If ownership or management is reading this, I suggest you check that out. Ps:(Back to the positive stuff) They also had a few Monterey County wines. Ah, a sweet taste of home :)

We live in Morgan Hill and we love to see our town has unique charm which included our local business grow. It’s our first time to visit«Bubbles» and it might not be a right time. Here’s our experience :– Wine: We ordered one Cabernet fight and a glass of Pinot. Overall is good but we think it can be «great» if there’s some short description of each wine in a menu. By briefly description can give customer some idea what they will get. You can make it even«wonderful» if the staff will briefly explain about taste of it when they served, this will not only show how professional you are(in term of wine tasting place) but can make customer get excited to taste and experienced themselves. Food plate: We ordered flat bread and a little bite. Our selection is good paring with our wine. The portion of each plate is good and reasonable price. Service: The staff gave us apologize since we sat and waited for 10 – 15 mins to get a service/menu and took another 10 mins to get a table clean. We could see and understand it’s really busy night. The staff walked in and out and tried to do his best. This is a big area that needs to improve especially if you want to see the business grow. The service should be considered based on max capacity that restaurant can take. It’s clearly that the staffs could not handle it. So, what to do – increase staffs? reduce max capacity? clearly assign the role to staff then can efficiently utilize all resources? Other things that also need to improve: Manner, one staff kept bumping my chair many times w/o single apologize while trying to serve other table. Water, we had to ask for 2 glasses of water after finished 2 glasses of wine. It should be a first serve? Clean up in time, should not leave an empty glass of wine on table. Atmosphere: Noisy night !!! We sat inside at a pub table. We understand that it might be difficult to fix customer’s manner: talks/laughs out loud with high pitch tone !!(and even louder when getting a bit drunk !!), bang table every single laugh !! We know it’s their happy quality time but should they respect other’s happy quality time? We think maybe the layout can help reduce some unpleasant. A large table for group party/gathering should Not be in the center, that will disturb all small tables around. We observed that not only us that feel ear-pain but other customer seems to be rushing drink and get out too. You may consider to seat group party outside(with lamp heater) or seat them in private zone or in corner which you should install insulator/curtain to absorb noise !!! With the glass window & hard wall, it just makes echo louder noise !! Well, we will visit you again surely but may not be so soon. Our ears still hurt !! K&D To respond David on how we find the place : We pass by the place many times since we live not too far from downtown. But we just had a chance to walk there and try :)

This review isn’t for the service but rather their advertising for happy hour. Bottom line up front — beware they don’t honor happy hour advertisements. So my wife and I went there for our date night — we recently moved from the East Coast and it’s a treat to go have some good wine. We walk up to Bubbles and notice the advertisement for $ 5 glasses of wine! Score. Or so we thought. There are no indications happy hour is restricted to a set of wines or beers. So we ordered a decent glass of wine. Both of us. Then the bill came. Whoa. What a surprise. The advertisement doesn’t jive with what they charge so beware. Full price ambush for the bill. When I confronted the server he seemed to think it didn’t apply to all of their wines, yet there wasn’t an exclusion clause excluding particular wines. He didn’t want to work with us and thought my complaint was an issue. He did finally work with us, but did not honor their advertising. I just sent a note to David via the generic email address on their website. Wicked excited there is a dialogue between owners and consumers.
