I have been going to Zero Gravity since they were a smaller store on the other side of the mall and I have never had any of the negative experiences some of the other reviewers are speaking of. I only go for the comic books and don’t participate in the card tournaments they host, but I have been in there to shop while a tournament was going on and everybody seems to be having a good time. I feel that they have a decent selection of Marvel, DC, and Image comics and they have no problem ordering something that they don’t have in stock for you. I definitely recommend this place for your comic book needs.

Customer service is very important and these guys don’t think so apparently. The older guy, along with the younger one(who are the owners) are extremely rude and seem not to care about anything you ask them. And every review on here so far seems to say the same thing. Will not give them a dime anymore.

I have been going to Zero Gravity on and off for Magic: The Gathering cards since their first location in the mall. It was extremely cramped during tournaments until they relocated to a more open space. With many moves, they are currently next to Hometown Buffet in a nice, open room. They relocated so much that I had to call their number just to find out where they were this time! Jerry, the man who runs the store, is an extremely nice man! As someone who is fairly new to comics, I spent what seemed like an hour pacing back and forth the DC and Marvel aisle. With no one else in the store(with the exception of a couple who came in for a few seconds), Jerry only checked up on me once by the time I was done, asking the usual«you good?» question before going back behind the counter. I didn’t feel like I had to rush or anything like that. When I went to go make my purchase, Jerry and I chatted about some Batman movies and things like that, and I asked him some comic-related questions and upcoming store events. He has a chill personality, and he is really friendly and approachable, even for my introverted self. From all the years stopping by Zero Gravity from time to time, it is a store that has only gotten bigger and better since it started. They offer many different events like Super Smash Bros. tournaments, TCG-related events, and board game nights. This is a place that I could see myself bringing my friends to!

Meh, like others have said — don’t expect stellar customer service from this place. The only reason I’ll give them 2 stars instead of 1 star is because the staff seemed ok to deal with. However, I felt like the comic selection was lacking and the owner was pretty rude — when I went to sell my MTG cards I felt like the whole time I was getting ripped off and that he only cared about taking my money, not building a relationship with the customer. I later found that I could have sold my cards for much more to the guys that run the Sphinx comic shop down in Riverside. I’m fairly new to MTG and I’d like to try a FNM sometime, but I just can’t bring myself to give this business any more of my time/money. I recommend going elsewhere.

I have always liked zero gravity, but it’s just not cutting it for me anymore. I hate with a passion being followed around in the comic section. It unnerves me. I understand it, but I feel like they could set up the store better so that wouldn’t be necessary. Since their move, they have stocked more items, but I’m always kinda saddened by the prices. 6 dice from chessex for 15? No thank you. I feel like we kinda just have to deal with it since we only have the one shop for now(but there is another one coming shortly) but charging what you can because you are the only one«close» isn’t nice. I’ll drive to Temecula or Montclair or Frank and Sons in City of Industry. Lots of gamers will go to the places that treat them well. Customer service has been lacking. My friend was in the other day and called me while in line behind 2 people. 3 people were working behind the counter and none of them were doing anything remotely fast. We talked for 12 and a half minutes before he was up. Nobody wants to wait that long behind two people. I ended up going in to buy Batman #42 and we waited about 7 minutes for one person to finish. Ugh We are magic players and the prize support for this store never really entices my friends and me. It’s worth it to drive elsewhere. It’s not fun if the best players of the night aren’t rewarded. I know this has to do with turnout but one relies on the other. Seriously, if you play Magic, call ahead and get an idea of their prizes for the night. If they don’t tell you, don’t go! It’s that simple. Otherwise your first place win might net you 8 dollars in store credit. Overall or TL;DR– Prizing for MtG isn’t awesome or even worth it, the store still looks super sparse, you will get followed around if you want comics from the green square area, checking out takes forever, prices aren’t as good as other places. Friendliness is never a factor, they are always friendly.

I just got back into collecting comics and heard about Zero Gravity through a friend. I stopped by and picked up a few comics. After doing some research I went back and picked up a few more. Like the previous reviewer wrote, the customer service needs improvement. I was followed around the comic book racks and felt rushed and watched. My friend told me afterwards the owner and his employee were both watching me like a hawk, that’s when I realized why I felt the way I did, aslmost as if I was led out like a herd of sheep. TBefore coming in the second time I called and asked if they had cthe comics I wanted. I was told they had it which wasnt true and then the owner nearly bit my head off when I reached over the counter to grab items I had already paid for WITHCARD. I wouldnt have had a problem with it if he would have been more polite and not tap on the label on the counter as if I was an idiot. I like to hang out around comic book stores, conversate, look around. I work 40 – 50 hours a week and like to get some alone time. I didnt enjoy my eperience. I wont be going back.

This shop is great! The staff is very helpful and kind. They have a great selection of TCG(Trading Card Games) and Other games too. But the main reason I really like Zero Gravity is because of their comics and comic collectibles(statues, action figures, tee shirts, ect.) they have in stock. I hope when you are looking for comics and cards, you always check Zero Gravity.

Definite upgrade from the small, almost kiosk-like store they used to have in the mall. Anytime I stop in, there are always people at the tables playing some kind of CCG, which is cool. Despite having comics on the wall, it feels like they are more geared towards servicing the CCG players as versus to the comic buyer. That’s why I’m giving them a 3 star review. My experiences here have been middle of the road. Not awful, but then again, not stellar. I frequent many comic book/collectable stores, and the common thread amongst those that get great reviews from me is outstanding customer service — for both the card & comic collector. Zero Gravity falls short for me in that respect. Still, the store looks cool and it is a relatively new establishment, so perhaps they’ll improve their customer service and I can update this review to reflect a positive change. :)

Zero Gravity is a great place in the area to get your favorite TCG product! They have an ever-growing selection of cards for all the top games, and will even order what they don’t have personally for you. Their tournaments are highly competitive and the prize support is great(pack entry AND store credit for top finishers.) If you’re looking for a great place to play, hit up Zero Gravity.
