This has to be the worst food I’ve ever, ever in my life had. I ordered bbq rib tips and greens. When I got them the role thing was over cooked and not editable. It was saturated in liquid smoke that I couldn’t eat anything even my wife’s good was disgusting. As soon as we walked into this place the was a sign posted saying” no refunds on food orders”. Lie ago does that?! The list goes on and on, this was on a Saturday at 12 noon and there was only one other party in there. After they received they’re food order, team minutes later they walked out and left everything and there was 8 people in they’re part. Please do not go to this place, o got deathly ill less that a hour later, I don’t know how they’re not shut down yet. If I could give it a negative number I would.

I hated to say this, but it;s the truth. The food was burned… not smoked. The mixture of the potato salad and beans wasn’t quite what I had a taste for, but to others it may taste great. I will try again.

Good food. Good service cool atmosphere. Just wished the soda machines worked and the food was a bit warmer. Please bring the triple nickle for dinner.

I ate here after smelling it every time we go to Joses. Sorry I invited a friend and family. The meat must be soaked in liquid smoke. It was not bbq fall of the bone and the smoke flavor was over the top. They also do not have sodas. In addition there was the biggest bug I have ever seen in the bathroom. They were not surprised and said it happens! My friend had to go home and soak her fingers in baking soda to get rid of the smoke smell. Mine took a few days. We will not be back!

This is not Bar B Q. This is over smoked meat toss on some cheap white bread and wrapped in paper. I have had great Bar B Q and I am sorry this isn’t it. I could not taste anything over the over smoked taste that is all your taste buds can run away from. The location was outdated with sales ads all over the place, and flies out number the workers two too one. And, no AC eve though the out side temperature was pushing 95. I wanted to like this place and be able to have a good BAR B QUE place but this isn’t it. The soda machine didn’t work and from what I read this has been this way for months. And yet the owner pulls up in a new car. If you want invest in your business and fix your freaking soda machine why should I patronize your establishment. The best they could do is lemonade and tea. Which I would have been happy with ITWASGOOD. ITWASN’T. Lemonade is the most inexpensive thing you can make from scratch. And they have cheep powder fix that taste like cheep powder mix. I am sorry but there is no reason to go back.

They’ve moved to the north side of Route 60. Good news — the food is still just as delicious.

The BBQ was super tasty. I had the triple mickle pulled pork sandwich. It was $ 5.55. Tender meat and a very good sauce. Not too spicy but spicy enough. Also came with fries. The place was busy so service was a little slow, but the owner(?)/manager(?) came around and made sure everything was to our liking and was very nice. Good home style BBQ.

I went here with a group of friends for our weekly Wednesday night meal. I really really wanted to give this place a better rating cause the food is really good(excellent actually) but I can’t get over the service. I think it is supposed to be a «fast food» type place given you order at the counter and then sit wherever however they use«real» dishware, utensils and cups and you don’t pay til the end. Odd but whatev. I just wanna eat! Whilst looking at the menu I notice there’s ribs, hamburgers and sandwiches. Um, what if I just want meat on a plate? Turns out that’s what a «sandwich» is. I asked about the portions before ordering considering their«Triple nickel» size is $ 5.55(get it? triple nickle? cause it’s 3 fives… yeah…), the Little Bob $ 8.50 and the Big Bob $ 11(I think). Comparing size v. cost to determine the best value is my jam! The guy taking our order(Sweet Bob I’m assuming) got a little snippy when I asked what the portion size was. 3oz for the Trip Nick and 6oz for the LB. I got the brisket«Little Bob» which came with 2 slices of white bread laid out with the beef and sauce and what not over it with fries on the side. The fries are super good. The beef was really tender and the sweet sauce was AH-MAY-ZING! A friend got the spicy sauce and it almost gave him hiccups(and this dude mainlines wasabi). I couldn’t help but notice that my «brisket» looked a lot like the«beef» that my friend ordered. But I digress. So the food is really really good. The service? Holy balls. He needs ATLEAST1 more person solely to take orders and serve the customers. When I wanted a soda refill I took my cup up to the counter and asked for more. He said«okay go sit down I’ll bring it to you.» I turn and go back to my seat in utter confusion. Our food has now taken like 20 mins(still not received) and people have been standing up front wanting to order for like 10 – 15 mins and you’re going to take the time to bring me my drink? Weird. **This is now explained by another poster stating that their soda machine doesn’t work so they serve out of 2 liters. All this makes sense now since the cook had to take the cups to the back for refills and when I mentioned that the soda was flat and that he should change the CO2 tank he laughed and said«oh do you want to change it?» I laughed at the time but in retrospect…** I felt awful for the other customers just standing there. I even kinda peeked in the kitchen and let him know that there were people waiting to order and he said«yeah yeah I know.» I really wanted to put on an apron and help. Food :-) Service :-( Only go here if you have A LOT of time to sit around and want to be, possibly, verbally abused.

Food-Terrible Customer service– Lousy Owner(Sweet Bob) Loudly talked about me in kitchen because I complained about the Burned, hard flakes of what he said was chicken I got. When I calmly told him that I had heard him, he denied it and said he was talking on the phone.(I was looking right at him) Never, Never again. This experience was without a doubt the worst one I’ve had in years.

Okay so upon entering this place you are immediately greeted(shouted) at what I can assume is Bob with«welcome to Bob’s BBQ»… The Location– Older(dumpy) little strip mall in Moreno Valley near Ralphs. The interior of this establishment just looks slightly dirty and it is decorated rather odd, like I felt like I was in a Strip Club at 8am. Also… there is a funny smell. Like cleaner and hay. The Food– Rather good(surprised the heck outta me), the meat was tender and the fries were decent. But the meat itself was kinda cool as if it had been sitting back there for like 15 minutes. Overall the food deserves 4 stars. The Owner– Wow. So we get there and there are 3 people in line ahead of us. No big deal right? Well apparently it is to Bob, because he yells and treats each person as f they are the stupidest dip he has ever met. This man was not just brash but mean-spirited. It was irritating as heck! And for someone that was panicking trying to get these three customers through the line so fast, it took him 15 minutes to get to us. Wow.(Also for the record, I did want to leave). Overall would not return, although the cook was super nice(and should be declared a saint for putting up with Bob)

Great sauce and great smoked taste. I’ve been here twice now and the food has come out a little on the«cool» side both times. Pretty good customer service, they were very patient and very friendly.

Very friendly service. I just had the bbq sandwich and a drink for $ 2.50, since I wanted a snack. There wasn’t really enough meat on the sandwich to really enjoy the taste, and what I could taste had an overpowering smoke flavor, kind of like propane.

I’ve seen this place long time ago as it is just walking distance from home but never gave it a try bec. the place did not look inviting. Seems dark and dingy inside. Plus, when I Unilocaled this place few months back, the reviews did not enticed at all. The only reason I tried this place out was bec. my mother have informed me that she and my 16month old son visit this place regularly. Apparently, my son love BOB fries. I ordered tri-meat combo(pork ribs, chicken and sausage) with fries. I ordered it TOGO because I really did not like the ambiance. It is hot, dark and musty inside. Hence, I was pleasantly surprise to really like their food. The BBQ sauce was sweet(guess that’s why they call it SWEETBOB, lol) and moderately applied. Not heavy and tangy like other BBQ’s place I’ve tried. The portions was not bad for $ 15. The meat was tender, it falls off the bones. But what I enjoyed most is that added smoked favor, smoked after taste. It’s really good. The fries was not overcooked or dry, and it is well seasoned. Yep, my son loves it. The price for me was reasonable. Staffs are also friendly and accommodating. They do like to «talk». lol. It is refreshing esp. if you’re not in a hurry. You have to give this«hole in the wall» a chance. I will definitely come back here… I will not eat inside their restaurant though but will order TOGO instead.

I’ve always passed by this place when it was still by Sunnymead and was surprised to found out that it relocated to Pigeon Pass. The ribs are great! Together we split a half rack, a small bowl of chili and a small bowl of mac and cheese and we were STUFFED. The ribs are tender and weren’t hard to pull off the bone at all(like how some people make their ribs too tough), and it tasted of good smokey barbecue. The sauce was really good as well– the sweetness of it really went well with the smokey meat. The chili was a bit overwhelming for me because of how smokey/spicey it was, but I guess I can only blame myself for not being able to handle it because I didn’t have a glass of water at hand. The macaroni and cheese was really good too! The spice gave it a little kick. I really love what I orderedl However, this place is reeeeeaaally slow. It really takes forever to get things done here; oftentimes they strike up a long conversation with the customer ahead of you, and will forget you even exist. Sometimes I do want to go to this place because I crave their food, but usually it’s not worth the wait they make you go through.

I really want this place to do well and to make it but I have had several experiences that lead me to believe they are not ready for prime time yet. Visit #1 — I order the combo meal with a couple of different meats, a rib on the side, and jalapeño mac and cheese. It cost about $ 15 with s drink and the extra sides. The brisket, hot link, and rib were all really good. I especially liked the mac and cheese. I took it home and my wife ranted and raved about the macaroni. The only bad part was the service that night. I was one of the only people there but it took 20 mins for me to get my food, they forgot my drink and the servers were not attentive to me at all. Visit #2 — I brought my friend here for lunch. I ordered the hot link plate with a side of macaroni. My friend ordered a brisket sandwich. Again the service was a little slow and we were on lunch mind you… when the food came out everything seemed on par with my previous visit but they forgot to bring out my mac and cheese. When they did bring it, it was undercooked and the noodles weren’t soft. I pointed this out to the owner and he said it probably wasn’t ready yet… no apology, no refund, no offer of a different item?! Visit#3 — I pulled up and parked as I walked toward the door I see two men in a shouting match in front of the restaurant… one of them is the owner spewing a string of profanities that would make a sailor blush. I thought to myself the food here is ok(sometimes), the service is subpar, the prices are average, why am I here? This place has potential but I hope they can get it together and keep it together, but so far it doesn’t seem promising.

You know you’re in for a treat when you can smell the smoke wafting into the parking lot when you pull up. This is a legitimate barbecue restaurant that adheres to the low and slow smoking method of barbecuing. All of the meat is smoked using what they describe as «fruit» wood, not sure which fruit tree though. I ordered a half rack or ribs which came with fries and 2 thick slices of toasted bread. I also sampled my girlfriends brisket. The ribs were awesome, visible smoke rings and a nice bark. I really like the barbecue sauce, which wasn’t too liberal. The ribs were cooked well, moist and very flavor full and smokey, I’m a fan! The fries were really good as well, nice and crunchy and browned. Even the bread was toasted on the griddle with some butter and was more like a garlic bread with no garlic. The brisket shared the same smoke flavor and was moist and delicious as well. I can’t attest to the smoke ring as I only had a couple of really small pieces. The service was really fast here, obviously that meat has been smoking all day, so it doesn’t have to be cooked, and it literally came out by the time we had paid at the counter. The owner was present and was extremely nice, helpful, and an excellent host bringing us some wet napkins for our saucy hands after the meal. The prices were really reasonable, they have coupons for a half rack and fries for 10 $ which is the best barbecue deal around. Typical meal is slightly over 10 dollars which includes a side dish. They also have larger family meals for 6 – 10 people. Overall I loved this place and can’t wait to go back. I did bring some friends with me who had never had real barbecue and were a little put off by the smoke flavor in the meat. I think they’ll learn to love the flavor. If you’re looking to see what barbecue’s all about, or if you’re already a fan, you’re sure to love this place!

This one caught me off guard. I tried the ribs. They smoked it ONLY with no spices, and it tasted better then most slow smoked if had. The bark was perfect and the meat popped off the bone the way it should. The brisket, was tender with the kind of flavor you’d rarely find. The prices were very low for what you got. They really have their act down on the BBQ flavor. The staff was fun and cared how you like the food. If you want to be surprised by amazing food. Try this place. It just doesn’t get much better then this.

I was not impressed I wish this is all i had to write, but I ordered their brisket and ordered the large portion to go and when I got home I noticed I payed 12 bucks for 3 stringy, fatty, pieces of meat… totally gross Save your money and appetite for Lucilles even if you have to make the extra drive
