Kelly’s Coffee & Fudge Factory

The coffee here is pretty mediocre. If you opt for a gourmet coffee all you would taste is the artificial sweetness of the syrup. It was gross and in my opinion you’re better off ordering from the McDonald’s drive through, and that’s not saying much. I threw my drink away after a few sips, and washed it down with my bottled water! Unfortunately, the mall has very limited offerings to satisfy your caffeine and Java fix so unless you’re desperate (and I wish I wasn’t) resist the urge. It’s not worth the money. Credit cards for over $ 5.00 only, or they’ll tack on a few of $.35 for credit card purchases of under $ 5.00.

Worst place ever … no customer service and nasty food they cook there food in the microwave and don’t wash there hands… use the some gloves over and over again …

If I could, I would write to corporate about the poor customer service I received from this franchise owner, which is giving this company bad reprensentation on customer service. Not his employees, but the owner himself needs to get a clue on how to treat his customers if he wants their business over the future years to come. I seriously doubt he cares. I have been a valued customer of Kelly’s for over 5 years. First of all, this is the worst Kelly’s Café I have ever visited. I usually get a can soda and pastry. Not this time! Owner has a frown on his face like he hates being there. No smile, no character or heart. Total charge for a can soda is $ 1.44. Apparently, he also charges tax on food items. Why is He charging tax on a soda item? He also charges .35 extra for use of credit card or debit card and does not offer you a cup with ice to go with your can soda, like they do at the other location. Plus they do not charge you extra to use your credit/​debit card. I usually go to the other Kelly’s at Tyler Riverside Galleria instead, but I was in Moreno Valley at the time. This man barely wanted to give me a cup, when I asked for one. He was not pleasant and I will never go to this particular location ever again!

As much as I love Kelly’s this isn’t my favorite one to come to. As most other reviews have said the employees are not friendly and are clearly there for a paycheck and don’t care about the customers. My mother is highly allergic to milk and she orders her drink with extra «mix» because it is made with water. EVERY TIME we order the employees look at us like we’re crazy and give my mom the hardest time. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to just do a little extra for a customer (especially when it’s so simple and we aren’t asking for a lot). I absolutely love the Oreo Frost and I can’t get it anywhere else (unless I drive to Riverside) so I continue to come here…

Awful! The service is terrible the coffee is pretty terrible as well but really the service is Terrible! I have had the misfortune of meeting the owner I believe (at least that is what she said she was) she is one of the rudest women I have ever met.
Save your money and go to Starbucks instead.

Once i find something i like, i will order it over and over again. I fell in love with their milk tea with boba. My absolute favorite in all of moreno valley. It would have got 5 stars if it wasn’t for the young people that work there. So careless, talking to the young girls that come in and make their order 1^st even when i got there 1^st! Pisses me off but the older guy & woman that work are the best. The guy is so nice and friendly. So sad the review is ruined by the teens that work occasionally. Oh! And i tried their ham and cheese croissant and it was adsoustly delicious! My favorite for lunch since I also work in the mall.

They are very kind and have great food. I love coming here for some warm tea and a chocolate chip cookie

This place is hands down the worst Kelly’s I’ve ever been to. The drinks are lacking from their smoothies to coffees… just terrible. I don’t know how this place stays open. The owners need to stop skimping on EVERYTHING they serve and clean there place once in awhile. The last time I decided to give them another shot, «I got food poisoning» from old chicken In my order. SAFE TO SAY… NEVER will I go back!

I would put zero stars if I could. I used to work here. Most unsanitary place I have ever worked at. Ive gotten food poisoning 3 times from the food, but I never said anything because the owners could care less. Im embarrassed that they are of the same nationality as me. Anyone working in the mall would tell you they have new employees all the time which shows the horrible management. The drink are okay if youre okay with poor sanitation. Its over priced for no god damn reason. Anyone that has worked here or is currently working there will tell you the same.

I love their Mudslide, its a chocolate mocha blended drink. I prefer it over Starbucks. Its definitely MUST try! Friendly owners but VERY rude employees. I actually heard one of them say something about me as I was walking away.

Its ok. A good description of it might be that its sweet and not overly coffee flavored. Its good for the average joe that wants a cup. Not a great place for a coffee conosour.

If the bus is late, its a great place to get coffee. I have never been to any other Kelly’s franchise, but I really like their hot coffees. I don’t fall for sweets too often but this place does pretty good. The salads here are ok and probably better bang for the buck pricewise. Theres a lot of random items around the store, but I have yet to have a bad experience here…

This proves my point about the problem with franchises.
Look, I’ve to this place 20+ times since I have lived in Moreno Valley. Obviously the quality isn’t so bad that I wouldn’t go back, but they are certainly one of the lacking Kelly’s in the Inland Empire. The problem is, Kelly’s Coffee and Fudge is a franchise and as such is run differently from the one I would normally go to in Riverside. They skimp on everything here. I have ordered a plethora of items here including sanwhichs, smoothies and blended coffee drinks and they are all mediocre. The owner is nice so it’s hard to say anything when you feel you’re getting jipped. Unfortuneatly, it’s the only «coffee» spot in the MoVal mall.
Let me give you an example of the mediocre-​ness I speak of. You know when you go to a doughnut shop and order a blended mocha normally it’s pretty bare, no whipped cream or chocolate sauce or anything like that. That’s how they make the drinks here. To put it simply, it’s not like a Starbucks blended mocha and is only nominally cheaper. That’s what really irks me, you’re a stinkin’ coffee shop!!! HOW CAN YOU NOT MAKE A PROPER BLENDED MOCHA??? Lol. And this is just the drinks, the case of goodies is always lame too. The fudge selection is small, you know what, the whole thing is depressing. I’m not gonna lie.
A couple days ago I was in the MoVal mall and I was craving a blended mocha. It was funny because I walked over to Kelly’s and then realized that the Cinnabon across the way made much better Mochas and walked back over to the Cinnabon. I suspect that unless Kelly’s makes some changes they may become one of the many empty spots in the MoVal mall eventually.
