This subway takes forever and the prices on the menu are not consistent with what they charge you at the register. Be on your guard if you come here

The heavy set lady here is plain rude… I told her I wanted a sandwich with «everything on it» and she asks me over and over again what I want… then complains that I’m on my phone… guess what lady, I’m here giving YOU a bad review! ESP when there’s NOONE else in here for your to help!!! Bad business tactics = NO BUSINESS!!! And I

Was just at the Moraga subway and have never experienced such awful service and actually wanted to apologize on behalf of the owner even though I do not know them… the rude, ridiculous and childish behavior of their employee made me angry. She, multiple times, complained out loud that she was by herself. The restaurant was disgusting, dirty tables everywhere. Understandable as she by herself but her treatment of customers was ludicrous! She would roll her eyes and gasp at someone adding another sandwich or heaven forbid want extra pickles! We waited more than 15 mins with one guest in front of us before she barks that it will be another 10 mins before we would be served. I have never seen such incompetence making a sandwich… gracious just zip your trap and do your job!!! She then grunted at another customer and then walked into the back for whatever supply she needed so we left… hingry!
Unacceptable behavior… never again… I would rather drive 15 mins further to not deal with her. Some customer service classes need to be in her future or move her to a location not up front with customers!!!

Thoroughly impressed with the helpful staff. They’re very willing to help navigate the chain’s discounts so you get exactly what you want for the lowest prices. I love the sandwiches, and have never had a bad experience here before. As an SMC student I’m a regular, and ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend it to anyone else.

They shorted us a sandwich and work constrictions meant we couldn’t go back. TG we ordered 2 12 inchers. Bread was not fresh.

This could be one of the slowest Subways I have ever visited. There is always a line out the door not because the food is good but because it takes them 15 min to make a sandwich. The employees are generally friendly and if you are a Saint Mary’s student there is a discount but you have to ask.

I’m giving two stars because of the behavior of the «manager» there towards an employee and her disorganized method of «rush the customer». There is an older gal that works there in the morning who is a delight to talk to, is always positive, even with the manager verbally and physically pushing her around… I swear I would smack that woman to the curb! The gal, Christy, is always polite, efficient without making customers feel like «gimme your money and take your sandwich… NEXT!», and is helpful to all customers, no matter how rude they or the manager is. I hope the owner gets a clue and puts a stop to the bullying attitude of his manager. Good sandwiches, good price, tho.

Subway is my ‘go to’ lunch spot for ‘fast’ food. I can monitor calorie content as well as get extra veggies/​customize my sandwich etc. What makes this Subway stand out is the service and friendliness of the staff. The place is always clean and the employees are real helpful and go out of their way to get your order exactly right. I especially like my girl «Kelly» who works the week/​day shifts. She is awesome!

Really convenient place. It’s really, small and they open pretty early. The workers are really nice as well. I came here for breakfast everyday for breakfast during my Junior and Senior year of high school.

Definitely not one of the better Subways around. This place was much better when I was in high school. Like many other Subways, it’s super quick when the line’s not long and the sandwiches are super customizable, not to mention the wonderful healthy options. The sandwiches are quite tasty and they have a good selection of chips.
And that’s pretty much where it stops. The last time I was here, the whole ordering process seemed much more chaotic than usual. The person that was helping me was kind of rushing me, which was confusing since the person ahead of me was taking her sweet time and talking on the phone while ordering (note: figure out what you’re going to order BEFORE you get in line, especially if it’s a short line)
I don’t know if I’ll be back soon and I don’t know if this is a location I would recommend (There are much better Subway locations), but it’s fine option if you’re in the area and looking for a fast bite to eat. And it’s definitely healthier than the other fast food joints in the shopping center!

Not so great since the ownership change. Went today, they do not have bottled water, didn’t get their shipment. I had to ask twice for more vegetables, getting pretty skimpy and the veggies look like they’ve been around since early last week. Hate to say it, but I think they are going down hill. I hope they pick it up a bit soon. We used to LOVE this Subway and went there very often. Fingers crossed they start to do better.

Only go here for breakfast when I drop off my dry cleaning. Employee who works there on Friday morning is solid. Avoid the lunch time period though.

I have gotten used to nasty downtown SF Subway. Their veggies were so sad and withered, most likely covered in a film of smog. The workers looked at you with much disdain when you order, and they make your sandwich as they curse you under their breaths.
Here in Moraga, the veggies look nice, clean and crisp. Everything is fresh, even the tuna, which I used to be afraid of to order in SF. The workers are nice, quick and seems like they actually like to make my sandwiches. The whole place looks well-​maintained and clean.

Very stingy portions, no restroom access or way to wash your hands, drinks consistently seem watered down. They charge a fee for extra veggies when no other subway does. Minimum $ 5 purchase required to use a card even though it is against their agreement w/​the credit card company.

For a Subway chain restaurant, this place does everything right. It’s great for a quick bite at lunch time, and I rarely have to stand in much of a line. The family that runs it is incredibly nice, and the service is top-​notch. The inside is clean and the counter is always stocked and looks well put-​together.
Sure it’s not a hometown specialty deli or a trendy sit-​down restaurant, but it’s well-​run and clean. Hell, when it comes to fast food chains, this is a lot more appetizing than the Taco Bell located in the same parking lot – at least this place uses real meat!

Beware! Beware! This place gets HELLA packed during the lunch rush. I have yet to dine here during dinner but intend to soon to see. You know how normally people are when lines are to the door? Yup, they get irritated, aggravated but not the people waiting to order here because surprisingly the speed was lightening-​y (yup, got that word from Remy in Ratatouille). There were 3 on shift; 2 worked the order and assembly line while the 3^rd one handled the register and replenished the: meats, vegetables, cookies, FRESHLY baked breads, and up keeping of the lobby and tables. For just 3 people and all the while I was there, the line seemed to grow, executed, grow, and executed (not a moment of peace) and it was at 1 or so when we arrived, it wasn’t the actual «lunch rush» either so imagine going during lunch time.
My guy had the Philly, the foot long w/​I believe absolutely nothing in the sub except for the beef and cheese. he simply does not like vegetables but can tolerate tomatoes but even that I did not see in his sub. It was good and juicy because I tried a bite of his. I will order that next time but on a 6″ so I don’t feel like a fat-​ass but God knows that I really am, heck, I know that I am a fat-​ass. I had the buffalo chicken, 6″ on whole wheat, no mayo, no ranch, no tomatoes, w/​olives, w/​peppers, I forgot if I saw lettuce. it was a, «Make me a surprise-​custom sandwich order» and I devoured the whole thing.
We shared a bag of the Lay’s BBQ Baked Chips and 2 double chocolate chunk cookies w/​I believe white chocolate chips. so soft, so chewy, so yummy. I so could have eaten 1 whole 1 by myself but I made him eat 1 and ½ of it.
If you like sandwiches– definitely Subway is the way to go.
If you are a diet freak like myself and cannot live w/​o the complex carbohydrates, you should come to Subway to eat a black forest, turkey, or veggie delight on a 6″ w/​o any guilt as those are less than 300 calories and under 5g of fat. I liked the fact that all the calories and fat are posted so that you can make an informed and conscious decision about what to eat. I liked the fact that they have a series of healthy potato chips and the unhealthy (yummier) ones. I liked the fact that they have a soda fountain and bottled sodas (I prefer the bottled because then if I don’t finish it, I can just toss it in my purse) w/​o having to worry about spilling it w/​my so-​called driving or clumsiness.
If you are in this neck of the woods, definitely make a stop at this particular Subway. You will be blown away by their speed and upbeat service.

The staff at this subway are so nice! They remember what you ordered the last time you ate there PLUS even if they get super busy they always thank you for coming in when your finished eating there! Sandwiches always fresh and yum! :)

I love the employees/​owners of this shop! They always have my sandwich ready for me when I come in around 12:20 and its still hot…

This is the crappiest Subway around. I went there for lunch and they were our of all but one kind of cheese. When they managed to locate olives they placed four olive slices on my sandwich and I asked for more. I was shocked when they charged me $ 1 for what equated to two olives. That is a bunch of bs. I will never go back.
