To the owners, I hope you check reviews so you see this. Walked in 13 minutes before closing, was greeted with are your ordering to go? I said no to which he immediately replied our kitchen is closed. Word of mouth is a powerful tool both for and against places, you might want to inform your employees your place closes at 10 not 947.

The bread is somewhat good and the service of our waitress was not good she never said hi or was $$$ and a half of a dollar sign.

Just when we needed an Italian restaurant in this area, along came Sal’s. However, the service is atrocious. The one young man who is a server is clearly frustrated easily. The food is sub-par and often cold when it arrives to the table. We haven’t had a good experience here.

Very pleasant atmosphere and good food. My husband and I decided to drop in last minute and try this place for lunch. Upon entering it’d a pleasant surprise. The outside looks like it’s going to be a greasy little pizza joint but the inside definitely brings up a few notches to quaint little Italian place. The food presentation is desirable. The staff friendly. We were both loving this place as we proceeded through our order. Things got a little heated when I watched the line cook in the back take my broccoli calzone out of the oven and into the microwave. I asked the guy ringing us up if I was correct in what I saw and he said yes. So I replied saying could you mot please(that is a huge pet pev of mine and I didn’t want rubbery cheese. No thank you). The cook who put it in there got this extremely annoyed look on his face and aggitatedly pulled it out, plopped a sauce container on the plate and slid it onto the counter. The guy at the register was polite and tried explaining the reason behind the method. I told him that was fine but that I just don’t appreciate someone reheating my food in the microwave. I wasn’t trying to piss any body off. The way that the cashier handled it saved the experience for me. I really didn’t like how quick the cook was to get super intense about my request which is not that big of a deal to begin with. If I, the customer, say that I don’t want it reheated in the microwave then you should politely comply. Not throw a fit and look at me like I’m a bitch. The food was pretty decent. A little to much cheese for my liking but the broccoli was fresh and the overall flavor was nice. The marinara is made in house and was simply amazing. My husband got a large square slice of the Supreme and he said it was very good. We shared the cannoli. It was delicious. Overall a good experience.

It says Famous Pizza on the sign, but the menu is full of other Italian dishes. This is a rather small space but would seat about 50 in booths and some tables. It has the ambiance of a mom-and-pop store, even though there are other locations. Our server, Morgan, was attentive and, if he didn’t have an answer, he checked. The rest of the staff was very friendly. I had the Spaghetti Marinara, although I had asked for linguini. It was tasty and is made in-house each day. Also had Minestrone which was good, however it was not the traditional mix of vegetables, meaning no beans and was brothy. Good also. My wife had the Fettuccini Alfredo which she thought was very good and they were able to prepare it without garlic, which almost no other restaurant can do. She also had a house salad, which was pretty basic. We asked for butter but were delivered an other-than-butter whipped something in a little carton. Not good. The oil and bread, however, were very good. The first two types of wine we asked for were not available, so we had to make a third choice. Good wine bottle prices at $ 20.95. We wanted to cork the bottle and take it with us but were told they don’t have the proper license for that. All-in-all, it was just okay and I can’t say we would return.

One of my favorite go to restaurants for take out and dinning in. I usually eat here three times a month or more. Love the fine dinning in a small town. Food is just addicting. Recently they added out door dining and I came here with my kids and mother on a perfect July afternoon. It was a wonderful!

I visited here recently with friends. We dined in. I definitely agree with another posted who commented on the fact that the building used to be a KFC… It’s unbelievably clean and nice inside. Food was pretty good. I got the lasagna, which came with a tasty Caesar side salad. The red sauce was good, but maybe a bit too acidic. The service was friendly and attentive, though our waiter seemed a bit frazzled at times. Younger teenager. No big deal. Drinks were refilled quickly. Prices were reasonable. Overall a positive dining experience. :)

We’ve eaten in once, with two little ones in tow, and ordered take out a few other times. We have always been impressed. Service is good, they are young, but they do a good job. Everything we have had has been delicious, pepperoni breadsticks, strombolis, pizza… but my fav hands down are the garlic knots. Oh my gracious… it is garlic, butter and cheese in cinnamon roll form. They are a meal on their own. YUM.

Love this place. It is attractive and clean. The food is very good, and reasonably priced. I have had their lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, garlic rolls, and all have been good.

I would never guess this is an old KFC. The inside is well decorated and the bathroom is really clean. We didn’t sample much — ice waters and a cheese pizza. The pie came out perfectly cooked with a really good tangy tomato sauce. The service was friendly. Our server did not come by very often, but came over every time I signaled her. The staff is young and learning. Dinner for two with leftover was less than $ 15. Can’t beat it.

Attempted to eat there on Mother’s Day with my mom. We were seated immediately and then never approached for 10 minutes! No water. No waiter/waitress. All the server staff looked at our table and even the host made eye contact, but never checked up on us. It especially got weird when the wait staff all seemed to go on a break. After we hit the 10 minute mark of zero service we got up and left without anyone even checking. Even the tables around us were looking at us wondering if we were ever going to get helped out. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!!

«Sal’s new place in Mooresville had fresh and delicious food! Worth the wait. And our waiter Jay was awesome too! Will definitely go back again!»
