Bed Bath & Beyond

Walked in today looking for an immersion blender. Granted that I’m look for something I can use in the lab to simulate larger scale production equipment.
Found what I wanted and they only had one with none in inventory and the one had been either opened or returned.
Took it anyway because I needed it.
We will see how it works.

We have always loved the products and service at this chain… as Tervisaholics, we appreciate being able to find the ones we want and being able to use a 20% off coupon to buy them!
But boy oh boy… the main manager at this location is really a horses patootie! He’s the most unhappy person I’ve dealt with in a retail setting in a looooooong time. So I have a clearly broken Tervis (lifetime guarantee) and walk in to exchange it and he’s acting like I am trying to rob him blind. I felt a little put off by this but figured he was battling a high return rate or something, so I ignored it.
Then I go in and am buying a number of items, no return, no coupon and he’s a CRAB! I mean seriously, get a pot of water and some drawn butter! Does not matter what time of day, what day of the week… if he is there, the attitude in the entire store is different… and not for the better. It’s to the point where I will avoid BB&B unless I absolutely MUST go there and then I see if I can wait until I’m near one in another location.
It sure would be nice if they changed out the management there… I think they would notice HUGE improvements overall if they did!

This store employees were not helpful. We were looking for an omelet pan and a man wearing a name tag ignored us. A total of three employees walked past without offering any assistance. We found what we were looking for and looked around for 20 minutes. In that time only one young lady offered her help.

This location is always clean & well stocked. The employees are so-​so, they’re not very talkative; more or less, they’re just there to work. They have ALOT of things I could easily buy, if money was no object. :)
So many kitchen supplies & utensils… I can easily come in here just to look.
Prices are very reasonable, too. They have wedding registry, too, which is one of the reasons I shop here.
