We been here a few times and we liked enough to book a party of over 20 people. The party was scheduled for noon and we get there around 11:45 and they made us wait outside and didn’t open the door until 12:05 or after. The waiting outside was very unprofessional and really set the mood for what came next. Clearly they were running late. It didn’t look like they were prepared and had to setup and clean up from the night before. The tables were not setup as previously agreed and the room was not the room as agreed. It sounded like someone else cancelled and they put us in a different room. Let’s talk about the food. The food was edible but that’s about it. The tuna was over cooked. The chicken was over cooked and it was supposed to be stuffed but instead they wrapped it on the outside and forgot the cheese. They served everything with mashed potatoes and forgot the vegetables. Let’s not even mention the dessert, the cannoli was nothing like we had there before, at best supermarket grade. We were embarrassed for our guests and tried to make the best of it but we are never coming back here. They were not prepared for us and they put no effort on preparing our food. They are a bunch of amateurs at best and apparently they don’t care about customer service. We were treated like a last minute thing.

First point – the food here is very good and the waitstaff on our visit was terrific. However — the place is not a good value as the entrees are very overpriced and do not come with soup or salad. Everything is extra. The restaurant and waitstaff keep touting how«all the pasta is homemade». However — our entrees came with mashed potatoes(???) It would be great if prices were listed on the specials menus(which I don’t think they want to do as they are $ 30UP in price). I would have felt much better for that price had they thrown in a bowl of their«delicious» «homemade pasta»! The pre meal pesto-bread and cheese did not wow me. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn’t seen a visit from Mr. Clean and a mop in ages!!! Baseboards and floors were filthy!!! Allot of people come here with Groupons – we did not. My suggestion is that they stop putting coupons online and generally lower their prices. We won’t return as we can find delicious Italian food, at a better value with a clean bathroom elsewhere!

Love this little gem on Main Street! Came here with my husband, daughter, and friends several times in the past year along with a dinner party in November. Food is excellent! The seafood Caesar flat bread is perfectly seasoned and our favorite app! Service was impeccable this evening! Highly recommend

Love that we have a nice little BYOB with great food on main. However, I find it weird when I go the place is empty and they always make a big deal about not having a reservation. They say, «ok… So no reservation? Ok… Let’s see what we have» um, bro, how about any table in the joint? Anyway they also have great Bronzino!

Really bad meal. The staff was very apologetic, as I think they knew how bad the meal was going. Took an hour and a half to get our food. The apps took 50 minutes. Several other tables sent food back. One couple walked out. My wife’s lamb ragu tasted like nothing. My octopus was rubber and super salty. Avoid this place!!!

Will not be going back. I wish I could give this place three stars based on how nice our server was. She had no control over a lot that was going on and she was the inly one serving pretty much. It started off not great, we had a reservation for 7 and did not get seated until almost quarter after! Our wine was opened right away but it til a while to place our order. Someone bright us about 3 pieces of bread in a giant basket and kept forgetting to bring us the dipping sauce. The food was okay. I had the risotto and it was a little undercooked, not creamy like it’s supposed to be. My boyfriend had the seafood raviolis and they were okay. We used a groupon so for the price it was not bad but the service is really bad. Really bad, if you are trying to catch a movie or make a timed event than give yourself at least 2 hours in advance. I am curious what their brunch is like but I don’t know if I’ll be going back. Sad because it’s in such a cute spot.

I had a great experience at Thomas’ while dining with my entire family and friends. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor! He knew his stuff when it came to wine pairings and recommendations on the menu. I personally had the Chicken Pesto that was just, eh. My father, however, had the filet with dijon mustard and mushrooms that was probably one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. While the price was a little expensive, Main Street in Morrestown is a beautiful place all together and the atmosphere in the restaurant is a perfect match.

Very nice experience. Service was attentive. Brandon shared his appreciation of the food which helped in the decision making. The Osso Bucco was all it was described to be. It was a very generous portion. The mixed ocean grill was dry. Using the asked for melted butter helped. Could have used more lemon slices. Bringing our own wine to complement the food helps with the positive experience! Desserts were excellent! I think that next time I’d just get the gelato but the cheesecakes were very good. I’d definitely recommend Thomas’ for a great meal out with friends!

If you’re looking to have a private party with this restaurant please don’t waste your time. The staff they have to work events is so unprofessional. We actually had a couple of nice dining experiences but when it comes to parties they have no clue what they are doing. They even told me that«doing private parties is where they make their money» so to treat people the way they do is ridiculous. The list of complaints that I sent after the event was extensive and when I spoke with the so-called owner Anthony he basically said I am wrong and they don’t make mistakes so basically they won’t be doing anything for us to make it right. Service was slow, things were forgotten, he told me that he offered us discounts that we didn’t even know we were getting and should be happy about that. Then when I asked if there’s anyone else I could speak with he said«you could talk to my brother but he ain’t gonna do anything for you.» Being in the business I have never experienced service or the treatment I have received like this restaurant did and because I have no intention of going back to them he wrote me off. If I ever treated a client this way I would be out of a job.

Just went there tonight because I had a groupon. The service was horrible, worst I’ve experienced in a long time. It took about 10 – 15 min just for the waitress to open our bottle of wine, 30 more min for the appetizer. Meanwhile, the waitress kept walking by not explaining what was taking so long so finally I had to ask if it was almost done and I NEVER do that being a former waitress and all. Then like 15 min after the app came out dinner, which was wrong. The waitress did offer to have the cook remake it but at this point we had been there an hour and a half so it was time to go. I do not recommend and won’t be back! If you do go, make sure you eat a snack beforehand and show up with an extra large bottle of wine. Oh, the food was okay but not worth the price. Bön appetite!

I came here for a private event, and overal I thought it was ok. It wasnt the best food I have had, but it was decent. The private event space was nice. I am not sure if it is usually part of the normal restaurant or not, but it was a nice looking room. They had a limited menu for us to choose from, but the options were definitely typical of a red gravy italian place. I wound up choosing the penne with marinara and the chicken parm with mashed potatoes and veggies. That was where they lost me a bit. Why mashed potatoes with chicken parm? Ehhh not that they were bad, but that just doesnt seem to jive in my opinion. The food overall was pretty decent. The pasta was coated in the marinara sauce, and topped with a touch of basil and parmesan cheese. The chicken parm was well prepared as well. It was crispy underneath the sauce and cheese, but it lacked good seasoning. There was a good amount of sauce and cheese on top, without it overpowering the chicken breast. I would like to go back and see what they else they have on the menu. It seemed like a decent enough place, and the service was good. Its in a great spot right on the main street in Moorestown. I dont think there is a whole lot else in the area, so its in a good spot for patron traffic. Dont know that I would go back just for chicken parm and penne though, especailly if the chicken parm comes with mashed potatoes and veggies. Weird.

This is the third time we have dined at Thomas’. The first time we had an excellent experience — service, food, ambiance. The second time(about 3 months ago), we had a less than stellar experience. Third time was the charm. We went with another couple on February 13. The restaurant called me and asked us to come in 30 minutes later than our scheduled reservation — no problem. It is a BYOB and our waiter promptly came to open our wines. We waited about 20 minutes and when he finally came to take our order, we said we wanted to place our appetizer order and order our entrees when the appetizers arrived. He went on to tell us that because of a new company policy, that was not possible. We had to order appetizers and entrees together. So we ordered everything at once, waited almost an hour, and you guessed it! Appetizers arrived, 10 minutes later our salads arrived, and 10 minutes later our entrees arrived. We will not be returning anytime soon — just too many outstanding Italian restaurants in South Jersey.

We had ladies’ night here and it was so delicious! This place is also BYOB which is a plus. The only downside, they had a leak the in the main room so we had to sit in another room and it was really cold. We did mention it a few times and they said they had the best cranked up. Only downside to dinner. We got the caesar salad flatbread with crabmeat and shrimp to share. It was so good! Their homemade bread with pesto and cheese is to die for. The girls each got a different meal, I went with the mussels with sausage in a spicy red sauce with a side of pasta Pomodoro. It was so delicious. The a waiters were knowledgable in their entire menu and made suggestions. You really get the the homey feel sitting in the restaurant and you can tell that the Restaurant really trains and takes care of their staff. I was impressed. It’s a little expensive, but overall great experience. It’s nice to know that you can pretty much anything you want, as long as they have the ingredients.

Excellent! So nice to go to a BYOB with something other than just Italian food. Reservations at 6:30 and we were seated immediately, wine opened and water offered. Lots of specials especially if you like fish and seafood. My husband order the tuna special which was a very generous piece of fish and he said it was delicious. I ordered Veal Pancetta which was good perhaps a tad bit too sweet but the veal was very tender. We both had a caesar salad that was very fresh and crisp. Their bread comes with the best parm cheese that I have ever tested. We were too full full to order dessert. Service was above and beyond. Our water glasses were filled constantly and different waiters and waitresses continually checked on us. The waiters and waitresses appeared to work as a team.

Went here last weekend and the service was pathetically slow. The problem was that all of the attention was directed to one table. Apparently the manager or owner and her friends were celebrating her birthday at that table. People kept coming over to them and literally stood so close to my wife that she had to get up. No common sense. Some people are so completely ignorant and rude. It didn’t matter at that point because we just finished. It’s a shame because the food is good. However we will not be going back.

Came here with a Groupon. Place is BYOB which is always a plus. :) My Mom and I shared the flatbread Cesar salad which was scrumptious! I would order that again. Bread was served but it was cold. It should have been hot. For my meal I had the linguini in a white clam sauce. It was made with real clams and the sauce was garlicy without being overpowering. I would order it again. My Mom ordered the scallops and said they were delicious. I thought that our server was cold. He acted as if he were better than the guests and his comments appeared inappropriate. He made a comment about his dog being more tolerable than his live-in girlfriend. The bill came and it was $ 33 after the Groupon(worth $ 40). The scallops were $ 30 which I thought was a lot for only four scallops. Most of the other entrees seemed to be around $ 20 — $ 25.

Indifferent service and a lack of attention to detail define this Main Street BYOB restaurant in Moorestown. Let’s start with the iced tea. Well made. Fresh. Usually a benchmark of what’s to come.(Not quite true here). Our server seemed to have somewhere else to go. Her eyes were focused everywhere but on us when describing the specials and taking orders. And we were the first table seated, all by ourselves, on an early Tuesday evening. When asked about soup she curtly replied, «We never have soup.» Oops. Sorry. I guess I don’t have that local’s knowledge. Bread is good, kinda crusty, and would be better if warm. The eggplant parm appetizer came out wet, despite being breaded and fried, almost like the eggplant had not been salted and wicked of it’s raw moisture. The red sauce on top made the plate even more soggy, though a good cheesy mozzerella topping gave an otherwise forgettable appy some flavor. Portion size was large enough for two, at least. The bolognese was above average, but the linguine was lifeless and woefully overcooked. The sauce was meaty enough and slightly sweet. A 3.75 — for the sauce only — on my 5 point bolognese scale. White tablecloths were previously stained but placed on the table anyway, and the paint was peeling from the wall adjacent to our table. The restroom had paper towels on the toilet, making washed hands drip all over the commode when reaching for the towels. The room is tight, but there has to be a better, more sanitary, solution. Thomas’ is trying to be an upscale restaurant but falls short on many levels. Service, the maintenance of the space, some of the food to name a few… The devil is in the details, and there are more than a couple demons here at Thomas’.

What a great restaurant! Absolutely one of the best Italian seafood restaurants in the area. We were blown away Started with the Arugula Salad, just great. Then I had the toasted crab in an insane macaroni base. Lots of crab and very filling. She had the seafood ravioli and loved it(wouldn’t even give me a bite!) There were large portions and fine service. Didn’t have room for desert, but next time…
