Wonderful sushi. Staff is just as good. Atmosphere is awesome especially at the bar. My go to for sushi for sure

2÷13÷15 — Amazing food! Great service! Returned on 2÷19÷15 and while we’re waiting to be seated, the power went out in the entire strip. The friendly staff did not miss a beat! Everyone pulled out their phones and kept trucking. Understandably, some of the items on the menu could not be offered but they were still able to fry prawns and roll sushi! Another great experience at Volcanos! The food was still amazing and kind of more fun to eat in the dark. The power returned right at checkout time.

Mehh, that’s just the best way to describe this restaurant. I had hibachi and the other two diners had sushi. Mine was fairly good. They said they were okay with the sushi but ended up eating a lot of mine. We got the dumplings, they were okay, although didn’t taste very fresh. They didn’t give an option for salad dressing and I did not like the ginger dressing they used. It does seem overpriced for the sushi. Some rolls were up to $ 18 I believe.

Best sushi in Moore. I love love love it. It can get pretty packed at times, but so worth the wait. Christmas tree roll is . I also enjoy just grabbing some seared tuna.

Good environment, Friendly and attentive staff. Menus are easily readable and the food was pretty good without a huge wait. The only minor(and I mean minor.) Issue is that the waitress forgot something because she wasn’t writing stuff down but what we did get was good enough that it didn’t even bother me and food was good portioned too so in the end it didn’t even matter. Would come here often if I lived here.

Best sushi place in South OKC/Moore area. Sushi is always fresh. The clear soup reminds me of onion soup. The shrimp tempura is so good and the fried rice is really good. They seem to use a good oil to fry their food with because my tummy has no issues when I eat there as opposed to many of the other sushi places and their tempura dishes.

Really nice place with friendly staff. Helpful and courteous with my questions since it was my first time with sushi. The Superman, American, and Junky Monkey rolls were amazing. Didn’t order too much more since I didn’t know what portion size or how filling everything would be. Highly recommend

This was very good Sushi restaurant. Visiting from California, I was a bit skeptical, but was not disappointed. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes to eat good Sushi!

Tiny place, seats maybe 25 people. Good food and friendly staff! We came on a week night so it was slow. We started with tuna and chips, it was mostly avocado I think, we were expecting more fish so not ordering that again. It was good for what it was though. We then had 5 rolls(way too much for 2 people btw) the rolls here are very generous, so order light.(About 2 rolls per person should do it) and the fish to rice ratio was great! They didn’t kill you with filler and actually gave you flavorful seafood. We ordered the AK47, penguin, dragon, kill bill, and I forgot the last one but I do recommend them! If you can, try this place because it’s really good!

Try the specials on the board as you first walk into the restaurant. It’s all delicious. Cute little place with sweet staff. It’s a go to for us since it’s so close. Wish the specials were on a piece of paper on the table so we didn’t have to strain our eyes to see the specials board.

Because I’d rather you not eat my share, I’m hesitant to say so… but, the Hamachi Kama at Volcano Sushi Bar & Hibachi is the best in town. If you’re a fan of yellowtail, the cool, clean sashimi best dipped in ponzu, and you haven’t had the collar, simply grilled and dressed with a little lemon(maybe ponzu, too), you should. It’s so good. Hamachi Kama isn’t always available(n.b. ), but shrimp tempura is. And that’ll rock your socks off, too. Maybe it’s the light panko breading; maybe it’s the ethereal sauce. In my experience, there are just a few pieces of jumbo shrimp, served with a few pieces of perfectly cooked vegetable tempura. So happy. Rolls are perfect– not overly stuffed or poorly filled. Only once did we choose a roll we weren’t satisfied with, and our waitress worked to make sure we left happy. Sashimi is always excellent. Though the tuna we had today was most likely maguro, it was tender and flavorful enough to rival otoro– actually, I should have asked our server! We’ve always had friendly service at Volcano, though occasionally we’ve experienced the slightest language barrier. I don’t mind that; both front and back of house… know sushi(and everything else on the menu, whether Americanized or not). Don’t let the pedestrian location turn you off; inside is fine for a casual meal, lunch or dinner, any day of the week(!).

I got sick after eating here… I ordered their tempura udon and shared a Earthquake(?) roll to share, but was immediately hitting the restroom afterwards… and for the entire night after. Just my personal experience from this place, people I went with were fine. However the taste of the udon was so bland. I’ve been to Japan and had udon from LOTS of places-it’s one of my favorite foods– and this places udon is so blah. There’s like no flavor in the broth at all. I had a miserable experience here.

A delicious sushi joint just close enough from the Warren and just far enough to dodge the movie night date traffic. Service is awesome and a good mix of variety rolls, noodles, bent boxes, hibachi. Oh my! My favorite roll is the Mango magic, shrimp tempura rolled with mango and topped with raw tuna and a thin sliced lemon peel.

If I could give this place a 0 star I probably would have. First, our waitress was not very friendly. When I asked why we didn’t get a hand roll she said we never specified to her when we did… Second, we waited over an hour to get out food. Wasn’t even busy only about 4 – 5 other tables. Ridiculous. Third, the rolls were not very good… I’d rather go to gogo or hayashi or sushi neko and get better quality rolls. Salmon was a yucky pink color and the plumpness of the salmon was not there. Tuna had a smell that meant it was out for far too long. This place has horrible quality of food and I am never going to waste my time and money here again.

One of the best hole in the wall sushi places in Oklahoma! We had the OKC roll, the baked crawfish roll, and spaceship roll. For appetizer we ordered the squid salad and it is amazing! I loved my experience and the service here is terrific! I’m rarely ever in Moore but this will be our go to place when we visit.

This is one of the few places I have been able to find that actually uses fresh fish and ingredients. Everywhere else it’s frozen, cheap, or fake.(Ex: Sushi Bar) I live in Edmond and I drive out of the way every week to come here because it’s THAT good. Seriously amazing sushi. And they always cut up cucumber slices for my 15 mo old to eat. The staff is always friendly and pleasant and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. If you’re looking for REAL sushi & sashimi, go here. It’s the bees knees.

Comig here the vibe I got wasn’t very welcoming and felt a little rushed, although they got the job done, I like to enjoy my meals and not feel like an inconvience. Just like any other sushi joint, we went here for happy hour, but to be honest for happy hour is want all that much cheaper. This place didn’t really amaze me, but it wasn’t bad either, I would eat here again but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
