Candlewood Suites Oklahoma City-Moore

My husband and I have stayed here twice. Our first experience was fair. We paid only $ 79 for the night, we took advantage of their dvd check out system. It was nice and quiet. The internet sucks and the air conditioner doesn’t work very well but it wasn’t horrible. However, a week later we found out that our credit card info had been stolen and used elsewhere. We didn’t even think it had anything to do with the hotel until this last time that we stayed. I’ll admit that it was partially my fault but I do feel, considering this was the SECOND time, the hotel and their operating system/​employees had something to do with it. Fool me once, right? Someone called our room at 1 in the morning and claimed to be the front desk. They said they were experiencing a system black out and needed our credit card info. They claimed we could go to the front desk or say it over the phone. This is where it’s my fault, had I not been lazy (at 1 in the morning) I would have gone down to the front desk and found out that it was a thief calling and not the hotel. This is when I remembered that this wasn’t the first time our info had been stolen after staying at this hotel. I don’t know if the employees had anything to do with it or if they don’t have very good security when it comes to their system but they at least need to add caller ID to their phones like a lot of hotels now do.
Anyone considering staying here just shouldn’t, it’s too expensive considering nothing works and there’s not complimentary breakfast and you risk your card information being stolen. Pay the extra $ 10 and stay somewhere nicer and more secure or pay $ 30 less and stay at a cheap motel, it’s still better than this place.

Very nice facilities. Had a bit of trouble getting wifi up and going, but the rooms are big and clean and the staff has been extremely helpful and friendly.

The Hair Dryer works, almost nothing else does. Air conditioning in room broken. No air conditioning in the hallways or elevators. Cockroaches in the kitchen. Shower has poor quality non slip surface. Maid service once per week. First room had open (once used) bar of soap. No business center. Everywhere they can save money they do, everywhere they can charge you they do. If you are trying to ruin your trip or destroy a marriage, be encouraged to try this place!
