No stars. We pulled into the lot and the place looked deserted. Our reservation was made through Expedia and this place looks nothing like the pictures. My husband checked in. He said, ‘let’s go see what the room looks like.’ First of all when parked and walked through the breezeway I thought if we stay here the tires might not be on our car in the morning. The room had an older. We did not stay. There were derelicts walked around. There is a gentleman’s club next to the hotel.

Avoid booking with this hotel. WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. The front desk people were very rude, unprofessional, and entitled. Charged me $ 80EXTRA for one room just because I had 3 people staying in a room when the limit per room was 5 people. He told me the water and food costs more for more people. Kept staring at my group when we were walking around and made us all very uncomfortable. Front desk would call my room right after we got into the room to tell me that he is going to charge us extra. Very creepy and we felt like we were being watched at all times. Almost every time I went into the lobby, the front desk people were on their phones taking a personal call. My friend went to the lobby to use the laptop and the front desk man was on his phone and asked my friend why he couldn’t use his laptop in his room, just because he did not want my friend to overhear his personal call.

Normally I wouldn’t give a budget motel over 3 stars as they are by and large a perfunctory component of the American travel experience, but the night desk clerk, Sahil, was extremely helpful when we arrived at 1am during a trip from Austin to Quincy, Illinois. There was a snafu with our reservation which he graciously helped us resolve. Customer service isn’t always a guarantee, and having worked for a major hospitality provider in the past, I notice when someone goes above and beyond. He even printed out directions to the nearest place we could reprovision for the rest of the road trip without being asked. Definitely the makings of a concierge there! As for the room: Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Lots of water pressure(2nd floor room) and no problem with the shower or facilities. Wifi was strangely intermittent upon arrival, perhaps the router on our floor needed a reset. All things considered, by itself this would normally be a three-star review, but Sahil is, himself, a star, and really helped us make the best of our brief stay. Thank you.

I was inclined to give 4 stars because it’s a nice budget hotel, but it’s still a budget motel and 3 stars at best. Everything you want from a cheap hotel. We arrived late, rooms were clean, beds comfortable enough, and free breakfast. Although the room smelled strange and felt a little musty and humid when arriving. No one was incredibly nice, but they weren’t rude either. Just what we needed. Make sure you go to the bathroom before breakfast. There’s a bathroom in the lobby RIGHT by breakfast seating and that’s a little weird. I would hate to be eating breakfast while someone is having«bathroom issues.»

I wasn’t expecting much since I only paid ~$ 60 a night but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is very friendly, the room is very clean and comes with a microwave and mini fridge which, for a traveling student, is ideal. Plus, a pretty decent breakfast(waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal and coffee) to top it all off. I will definitely be back!

Worst and I mean absolute worst hotel experience on my 5,000 mile trip of America this summer so far. The room is disgusting. While $ 50 — $ 60 a night might seem budget to some I have been getting very posh rooms around the $ 80 range and I had a lovely stay at a $ 50 per night back in TX with an independent brand. Therefore, $ 50 a night means something«decent». This is far from«decent». I wouldn’t even pay $ 10 a night for an experience like this. BUGS! I have flies procreating on the walls next to me. There are at least two dozen flies in my room. I have been combating them all night. My poor boyfriend is also killing them left and right. They swarm and land on you or worse on my 4 month old daughter. We also have ants everywhere. They swarm everything My boyfriend cannot even sleep he is itching just the psychosomatic thought from the bugs around him. It is disgusting and disturbing. SMELL! The smell is horrible. It is a mix of aerosol and bad Mexican food. It was the first thing we noticed when walking in. FILTH! Everything is grime. The room is humid and hot. The mirror has candy or something literally stuck to it. It is a nightmare. Overall I wouldn’t even give them one star! They deserve nothing. I am calling Days Inn and requesting a refund. I am also going to send this to the health department. It is absolutely disgusting. Please view all reviews of this place before staying even some of the filtered ones.

Great place, new king sized bed, fridge, couch, a nice office chair, all for under $ 50. I’d stay here again. All in all a nice clean room, I was pleasantly surprised when I oppened the door.

i joined up with Unilocal just to write this review because my moms into brand loyalty im becoming pretty acquainted with days inn as we are driving cross-country and let me tell you — they are not all created equal but this days inn which we lucked out on apparently is less than a year old and not even in the days inn directory yet its super clean the staff is really nice and efficient and well-trained to actually RUN a hotel the wifi was a super strong 54 mbps (but thats cuase i think we were in the room next to the router) the breakfast was really great and included — eggs — sausage — waffles — muffins — fruit — juice — oatmeal — bagels/toast but the best part of it if you can believe it was that they were smart enough to put power strips in the room think about it — we were 3 adults and we all had our own phones and computers etc etc etc yeah — its the little things that count… i was actually sad to leave the place
