The salon is in a great location if you come here. It’s right next door to the fashion island mall and right down the street from the beach. I always get my amazing hair cut by Daniel Engle and he never disappoints. He does an amazing job and he also is confident in his job and knows what he’s doing. The staff here is beyond friendly and professional as well

I love Mera! She does my hair so wonderfully! I never want my days at the studio with her to end! I trust however she wants to style it and I enjoy it everytime!

Veronica has been working on my hair for a while, she did an amazing job, she totally duplicated what I wanted and made it even better. Love all the staff there as well, very friendly and professional. The location is also really nice and clean.

Studio 4 Salon is a Great Salon! 5 Star salon! Brittney is a well experienced stylist, she did a great job on my hair. I heard she does both men and women, and not many stylists do such a great job on both. Brittney works with my housemate on film projects and I have heard nothing but great comments about her work. I was nervous but excited for a new color. After a lot of referrals I went to Maegan. She did an amazing job! She made me feel super comfortable and turned my boring brown into a beautiful auburn masterpiece. I found my new hair stylist. Thank you Maegan for the awesome hair.

I am so happy I came to this salon. I decided to just get a hair cut and get to know my stylist a little before committing to a hair color. Maegan is so patient and nice. She actually took the time to explain to me why my color may have turned out a certain way from before or why a cut made my hair look thinner instead of the way it used to be, wavy and thick. I really love when a person who loves their job, takes the time to explain to a customer why something turns out a certain way, what to do to get what you want with your hair, and which steps to take to get there, and Maegan did all of that. My hair cut looks wonderful, my hair feels thicker, I’m going back to my deep conditioning treatments, and I’m going to make an appointment for my hair color with Maegan. I really suggest giving this salon and Maegan an opportunity to make you fall in love with your hair again. Enjoy!

I found Studio 4 Salon on line because my regular hairdresser was booked and I needed a haircut asap. Mera Daniels cut my hair to perfection, so now I have a decision to make, do I just make her my regular or an excellent back-​up. Life is tough, but since my son just lives very close by, I believe I will be seeing my new hair dresser.

I have been to this salon three times now. I have had my hair done by Maegan and Mera. All three experiences have been truly amazing. They are professional, friendly and incredibly competent! They are both lovely people who clearly take pride and clearly enjoy what they do. Mera is one of the most knowledgeable stylists I’ve ever met. She has a full and complete understanding of color and hair and knows exactly what to do.
This last visit, I had the idea to change my hair from blonde to brunette. Later I realized what a mistake I’d made. When I called the salon to see if they could see me again to add some blonde, they were more than happy to get me back because they want all customers not only to be happy with it but they truly want their clients to be THRILLED with their hair. They fit me in right away and they were just as enthusiastic to do my hair the second time. They could have been a little disgruntled or less interested because I had just been in. They were ENTHUSIASTIC to change my hair. AND THEY DIDN’T CHARGE ME A PENNY!!!

Well I don’t know where to start, but after 4 years of looking for someone to cut my hair and style it the way I like it I have finally found her Brittany. She was great from the beginning she asked me what I was looking for and listened to my needs. I absolutely loved her she reminded me of my hairdresser back in Chicago. I have finally found someone who will not be afraid to put layers in my hair and style it the way I love it. I will definitely be going back for another hair cut. It was nice to meet someone who was so friendly and welcoming and extremely genuine her in California. Being from the Midwest and all it sometimes really hard to find that here in California. Thank you Brittany for making me one of the happiest clients ever. The owner Mera was even nice enough to follow up with me to make sure I was happy with my services. Great customer service all around.

Great salon! The people are super nice, there’s always plenty of parking, and the salon itself is very nice and has an awesome style to it!
Mera was the stylist who cute my hair. She’s been doing it for a long time, and she did a super good job!
I had long hair, but I wanted to make a change. I told her the approximate length and then just let her do her thing. It looked really good and had good style to it. Every single person I saw afterwards commented on how much they liked it, and even a couple months later, I’m still getting people saying «I love your new haircut!

Being a man… I can’t help but notice the eye candy in this place. But back to the main point… hair…the girls do a pretty darn good job. My girl friend goes here and so does her mom. They both love the place and can’t wait until they get to go back. I think it’s the amount attention they get when they walk in the door. Even though my main concern is that my girlfriend is happy, I also care about how she looks and feels about herself. So if your a guy with a good looking girlfriend who needs a great hair stylist, go Studio 4 Salon. And don’t forget to check out the eye candy.

Highly recommend this place! And have referred many friends who are all happy they took my recommendation. Mera is extremely knowledgable in color, cut and hair care and this shows in her skills. She does my color and I’m so happy with it!
The whole team is great — all very cheerful and welcoming. I stop in to say hi when I’m in the neighborhood :)
As for the salon itself, it’s very clean with an open, airy layout and TONS of natural light (180 degrees of floor-​to-​ceiling windows). Lots of product/​merchandise on display too. Easy parking (covered parking in the same building).
I’ll be back there again in a week or so!

Maegan is amazing… She is one of the newer girls at the salon but from the wash all the way to the blow dry it was great. I walked out of there with beautiful highlights and felt like a million bucks. If you are looking for someone who knows there stuff ask for maegan. I promise you wont be disappointed :)

Any stylist knows that men are the most loyal type of client out there. I went to the same girl at another salon for probably 15 years, but unfortunately she moved. I was scared. I let my hair get next level shaggy out of control.
I knew I needed to find someone new, so I took the plunge at Studio 4. I didn’t think my hair could be better than it was, but I am stoked on the new cuts I get from Mera. It looks fuller and more natural than it has in a long time.
I would recommend this place to all my male and female friends if you’re looking for a new stylist.

BRITTNEY IS AMAZING!!! I’m a professional female that travels the country A LOT, for my career and I always look forward to my stop in Los Angeles to get my hair done. Her work is artistic, creative and trendy — she is always thinking outside of the box. I still wonder sometimes how she can pull her innovative ideas and solutions out of nowhere! Brittney is also very accommodating with my hectic schedule! The salon itself is gorgeous too and I always feel beautiful when I leave!

The whole team is amazing! Whether you see Mera or Brittany, you won’t be disappointed. My color and cut are always excellent and they also cut my twins hair. They listen, and are patient. I had something done I had never heard of called a split ends cut and it literally transformed my hair without losing any length. I highly recommend this salon.

Finding an absolutely phenomenal stylist is similar to finding a needle in a haystack. Well I found the needle! Mera at Studio 4 did a Spring hair transformation on me and I am absolutely in love with it.
Prior to coming into the salon for the first time, Mera went to the extent of having me find out from the lady who did my hair before, what kind of hair dye was used on my hair, and if it was permanent, semi-​permanent, etc. This gave her the ability to strategize the best way to get the results I wanted, before I even go there.
After I got there, it was confirmed that my hair was most definitely a project, lol. Anyway, long story short. This was a magical hair experience. It was a lot of work for Mera, but in the end I had 4 beautifully blended shades into a gorgeous ombré. I am very happy, and I am so glad I’ve lightened up my hair for the Spring. :) Thank you, Mera! I’ll see you in a month for my roots touch-​up!
