Located in a very unassuming shopping center on the outside, the salon interior is very nicely decorated. Warm and inviting, just like the owner.
Patty is very consistent and careful with her work. I get perfect hair color every time, and no missed strands ever!
On top of that, it’s the most comfortable shampoo of my life.
My hair looks fantastic! Everyone who walks out of there looks like a million bucks. Couldn’t be happier to have found such a great stylist. And she’s as sweet as pie, too

Pat (the owner) totally nails my color everytime. She gives me the natural light brown/​dark blonde touch ups I need to keep my gray covered without streaking or crazy lines of demarcation. With other salons, I never knew what I was going to get month to month — very inconsistent. Pat never lets me down. The salon is clean and has nice décor, is easy to get to, I always find parking in the attached lot, and the prices are reasonable, which is a big plus especially since I have to go so frequently.

I’m so glad to have found this place and Patricia. She made me feel so welcome and did a great job on my short hair.

I’ve just moved back into the La Cresenta area. I actually got introduced to this place by my hair stylist Sammy which I’ve followed from Santa Clarita. They have very good customer service and are very knowledgable in what they do. They have blow outs which is amazing I have curly hair and hate dealing with it. Sammy not only cuts, colors, style my hair but she also does an amazing job in putting in my hair extensions. Highly recommend this place

I love coming to this place! Daniela always treats me like I am a queen. I come in, get my cut and color and leave (within an hour and a half) the salon feeling as beautiful as can be. I usually try to come in about every two months or so for a cut and color and boy does the color last. Daniela is very sociable and gives me honest opinions on how to style my hair and always gives me helpful hints on how to keep it healthy. This is the place to go if you want your hair to look its absolute best. And ask for Daniela!!!

I’m from San Diego but needed to get a haircut for an internship up here in LA. Patty took me in and cut my hair and did an amazing job. I wasn’t sure if they were used to cutting guys hair here but Patty started off only cutting guys hair for 15+ years. I trusted her to take about 4 inches off of my previous cut and I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend this hair studio for guys!

I never ever get my hair done. It was it’s virgin brown up until a few months ago. I wanted to be daring && go to a golden blonde && cut my hair. Long story short I went to a friends recommended place && had to pay double because she didn’t listen to anything I said && decided for herself to give me subtle changes && my cut wasn’t even a trim.
Whatever the case sammy fixed everything && I just gave her a couple of options && she knew exactly what to do && it was perfect !! I had the perfect color && my cut was actually a cut && just the way I wanted it !! I trust her completely && we all know how hard it is to say that about a hairstylist .

I was very impressed by the salon, the demeanor and professional manner of Sammy, and my haircut! Even with a Unilocal deal, I felt I got A+ treatment. My hair is curly and I don’t have time to style it much in the morning, and Sammy gave me a great «wash and go» cut that looked good from the moment I stepped out of the salon. I’ll definitely be back!

I love Hair Studio. It is small and clean and neat and never packed since almost everyone makes an appointment. This is not the place you go for crazy hair but for traditionally gorgeous hair, nice cuts and blow outs. Daniela is my girl and she is funny and sweet and will listen to what you want and try to make you as happy as possible.

I will literally follow Sammy to the ends of the earth.
I originally met Sammy over at Esthetics Design in Santa Clarita, and visited her other location in Montrose for my cut and color. Rarely do I ever trust anyone to have free creative license to do what they will with my hair, but I feel so comfortable just sitting and letting her have her way. During the times that I have a specific vision in mind, I leave the salon with the exact look that I’m trying to achieve. Sammy is such a sweetheart and quite the conversationalist (which is HUGE when someone is spending upwards to an hour and a half with you). She’s kind, hilarious, and a beast with scissors.
Aside from my awesome experience, the salon itself is fairly small, but from what I’m hearing, they will be expanding their location in the near future. Although it was a petite sized salon, the interior was not cluttered, and the quaint décor was endearing.
I loved that the hair wash station was in the same area as where all of the services happen – you never leave your seat! There’s a small waiting area with granola bars, fresh fruits, and a Keurig coffee maker (love this) for those who are waiting on their appointment.
They’re fully stocked with product that they use during your service. My most recent discovery was the L’Oreal Volumetry line for my super fine and flat Asian hair (and it smells amazing, too). She used the shampoo, conditioner, and anti-​gravity volume spray then gave the most incredible blowout with a root lifting spray afterwards. I hate how flat my hair is, but after a blowout with Sammy, I have volume and body!
I love Sammy, and I 100% recommend her for any of your hair needs. She’s incredible.

I have curly hair and have had a hard time finding a stylist who actually knows how to cut curly hair in the past. I am thrilled with Pat and her level of expertise when it comes to hair! She is AMAZING! (And I don’t use that term lightly). The salon was clean, everyone was very nice and welcoming. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I am over the moon with my new hair cut and color– couldn’t be happier!

I have been coming to Pat for nearly two years now.
What keeps me coming back is Pat’s auroa. She’s very patient, kind and thoughtful. I believe she really sees everyone coming out of her studio as a reflection of who she is in her work. Although she calendars out 45 minutes for an appt (wash, cut, dry) she usually takes 30 – 40 minutes, not because she’s rushing, but because she’s that good.
She sells top-​rated products. She lets me know what would work for me and what would be a risk. I’ve purchased gifts from her and she always helps me stay within budget. Very thoughtful and mindful of her clients.
Clean. Cute. Thurough work.

Fantastic and talented owner, dynamite salon. It is always a treat to go. I have been going to see Pat for about a decade, commuting from the valley. She is a genius with color and has fixed my mistakes when I attempted some «interesting» highlights from home. Pat offers a sense of family — she cares about her clients and you can feel it when you walk in. I highly recommend her for anyone looking, or anyone who is experiencing mediocrity. Pat is a true pro; she knows her stuff, and continues to build her expertise. AWESOME!

Ok… first off I am realllly picky when it comes to someone touching my hair. I am a natural curly hair girl and for anyone with curly hair you know how hard it is to find someone who does you’re hair good. Patti (or Pat) is WONDERFUL with my hair. I went as a referral from my sister who went to her and only said wonderful things. I was hooked from then on.
Now I started with just a basic haircut and color. Loved it. Now I have been back to her from everything from a short bob cut (never had my hair that short EVER) and a full hair color change (dark brown to strawberry blonde). She is very patient and helpful. Listens to everything you ask and say to her and will take her own spin on it and make it even better. I have not been helped by the other ladies there but knowing that Pat has them under her wing I am sure they are just as good. The location is very chill and relaxed. Pat always has some good music playing from her eclectic mix. Something for everyone.

Two years later — still a five star place.
Patti has recently brought in a Jr. Stylist named Stacey Augustinas; I have had two cuts and one partial highlight with her — and I am very happy. She is just as attentive as Patti, and does a great job at listening to her clients and provides good cuts and color.
