Food is excellent! We especially like the chicken fajitas which we split because it’s so much food. Great ice tea & clean restrooms

Modesto is the manager of the restaurant, very attentive to the patrons and the way the customers are treated, service was extremely fast and freindly, ambiance was warm and welcoming, I was greated immediately with a warm and welcoming smile, shortly after being seated, taco chips and salsa arrived, the waiter was very attentive and patient when I took my time in looking over the menue, my drink arrived very quickly, shortly after ordering, my food arrived, very large portions of extremely high quality, well prepared food, chile rellenos, tamale, burrito, rice and refried beans, very tastey, the one thing that stood out from the most, was the way all the staff looked after the customers, they worked as a team to make sure everyone was well cared for, I have no idea why this was rated only 3 stars, it certainly is well worth a 5 star, prices are reasonable, and everything else was excellent, you won’t be sorry for trying, I was very happy, and recommend very highly.

Restaurant has good ambiance. Was seated fast.
My dish (fajitas) was very good. The salsa has very little flavor.
Taco and enchilada plate was bland and tasted like it was just thrown together as an after thought.
Staff was friendly but inattentive. Once meals were served he disappeared.
Maybe it was an off day.

I was doubtful that another Mexican Restaurant would make it but there are a number of good things about this establishment. First, it’s clean and well decorated. Second, the food is reasonably priced with large servings; not as expensive as Viva Mexico yet better tasting. Third, $ 2.00 drafts – can’t beat that! Last, friendly servers, great free chips and a mushroom/​jalapeño/​cilantro relish that is tasty and free! The prices are some of the most reasonable in town excellent quantities, and the service can’t be beat! Give them a try!

Great service… the ultimate margaritas are the best in town. Go for the molcajete to share for two or to have some leftovers. Couldn’t believe we were getting another mexican restaurant in town but this one might be the best

Outstanding Service. Outstanding Value. Great Food. If we lived in Montrose, this would be our Mexican restaurant. The food was piping hot from the oven, and well seasoned. Pedro was a gift to the art of service.

The perfect place to go, if you have no desire for flavor. I ordered the chicken taco platter as the pictures in the menus showed me I would not enjoy my usual favorites. I was given plenty of food but it was the blandest faire I have had in a long time. The service was decent and put on a festive show for birthday celebrations but your loved ones won’t be doing you any favors if that’s where they take you.

Totally forgetful experience! From the beginning we knew we should leave and wish we had!
Our server was there the minute we sat down and had not even opened the menu. Said he would be back. 15 minutes later he was, but before we could order he walked off. He came back and finally took our order.
The food was out in very good time and hot as it should be. Looked great.
One bite we realized it was Americanized! NO spice! Bland! Tasteless!

Not a good experience from the start. Food was mediocre at best. The divorced enchiladas looked and tasted like Casa Bonita food. My mom’s had food poisoning symptoms the whole evening after. Our server had a bad attitude even mumbling under his breath as he walked away. I guess our party of 10 was too much for him. The kids waited more than 10 minutes for drinks. And then the server refused to light the candles on my daughters birthday cupcakes. The other servers commenting in Spanish as we sang happy birthday was equally unimpressive.
Average food, poor service and bad attitudes… No thank you! There are plenty of places to go in Montrose that appreciate the business. 1 star is generous.

Great service great food and good price they do well with large groups! Two thumbs up!

I was very pleasantly surprised at the service, food and value offered by this establishment. We had a group of 15 and they were very quick and efficient. We will absolutely be back.

MY MOMS BOYFRIEND THREW UP ALL NIGHT LONG! DO NOT EAT HERE! BAD FOOD AND CRAPPY SERVICE! I came into town to visit family that lives here and was excited to hear of a New Mexican restaurant in town… Until I ate there. The server wasn’t the least bit friendly and he took forever to bring beverages. So much so that my husband ordered 2 beers so he didn’t have to worry about it! The food was ok but not for the prices. The worst part was our server. My advice to him would be «if you don’t want to wait on people, don’t be a server» bc with an attitude like his this place will never last! I would stick to the other Mexican restaurants in Montrose! As for the people who thought this place was worthy of more than 1 star… I don’t know where they were but it wasn’t mi mexico!

Great food and fantastic customer service. We each got lunch specials and were pleasantly surprised with the large portions. The espresso burrito and avocado tostado were excellent. The wait staff was also very attentive. I would definitely go back!

This place is awesome! We went there for lunch and the food was delicious! We ordered the avocado tostada and espresso burrito and they did not disappoint! The sauce on the espresso burrito was so good!!! They don’t have their tap beers installed yet but I think they will soon. They do have a large selection of bottled Mexican beers. I think the best thing about this place was the service! Every employee was so friendly! I would definitely recommend this place to someone visiting Montrose!

Very disappointed. The service was good and the meal was served in a timely manor but the lunch prices seemed a bit over average or what you would expect and looking at the menu for dinner, prices were way high in my opinion. Our meal filled a large plate, but the food was very bland tasting. There was nothing that we ate that we could say was at all tasty. In short, will not be going back.
