Stopped here couple days ago from a friend in La Canada Blvd, there’s four of in the car and everyone is hungry, so we are all decided to stop and grad some food to ease our hunger. Surprising there only few people in the place, if I’m not mistaken there are only seven people during that time. I make a bad impression to me already that they might have a bad service or food or whatever that made their store less attractive to they costumers, however, next to that is a warm greetings from two of the servers they have, so there’s a quick change of mode that time, next is the placing of order and the serving, preparation that only took less than 15 minute, quite impressive and very fast. I got the best margarita and cheese pizza I’ve had in a long time. The cheese make the pizza so delicious. My friends also got the mozzarella and honey bbq and lime cheese and a Bruschetta. We all have a good experience.

This was, hands down, the best pizza place in the area. It’s sad to hear that they are closing up shop. Where will I get east coast quality pizza now?!

GREATPIZZA!!! Was in the area for business and stopped in and what a great surprise, one of the best Pizzas I’ve had in a while. I will be stopping by when I am in the area again. Can’t wait to try some of their specialty dishes.

Still no liquor license. Cash or checks only. The pizza was good but quite expensive.(Extra large 3 item is $ 25) the small chopped salad is $ 10. I’m sad to see they are going down. We loved this place. It seems they will close soon. Sad.

Delicious italian dressing-$ 1 for extra on the side. Everything else is over priced. The spaghetti sauce had a cup of sugar in it! Gross. They will nickel and dime you for everything-even plain bread. Prime location. What a wasted space.

It’s a nice little mom and pop type of restaurant and it has decent food but for a neighborhood Italian restaurant, it’ll do.

I regret eating here as so many others have written. Pretty empty upon entering on a Friday night and now I know why. Service was slow, the food took forever to come and they lost their wine and beer license. I’m thirsty and grumpy sitting here. Not coming back, sorry.

Best margarita and cheese pizza I’ve had in a long time. The sauce and cheese make the pizza and both here are delicious. Good quality ingredients w a little spice. Try the fired mozzarella you ll be glad you did.

I placed an order through grub hub. Almost an hour after the order was placed, I was notified that the order was cancelled. Extremely unprofessional.

I regret eating here. I got the pesto linguine because I’m a vegetarian and pesto sauce is my favorite. The sauce was such a bad excuse for pesto. My food tasted like pasta drowned in cream with a teaspoon of pesto mixed in. It was bland, heavy, and definitely not worth $ 15. I felt sick shortly after eating it :( My mom got the spaghetti with«meat» sauce and it had so little meat in it that she thought they had given her the wrong order. After we inspected the sauce, we found a little tiny piece of beef and realized that she was in fact given the correct order. It should be obvious that a meat sauce has beef in it; you shouldn’t have to go looking for it because you should be able to taste it. All she tasted was sweet tomato sauce. Again, not worth the money. Some positives: portions are big, bread is good, and that’s about it

Neighborhood Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy. Service is unpredictable. Tonight it was bad. I’ve eaten here many times. Food is good and inexpensive. I’ve had a delicious seafood gnocchi, chicken stuffed with spinach and prosciutto, as well as lasagna.

If you are on a diet but your wallet isn’t, this is the place for you! Bite size servings for a lot of dinero$$…pretty pricey for bland Italian food. not my first pick for Italian…

We had beef cannelloni and hot wings. The cannelloni was VERY good, and the wings were a little too salty for my taste. Nonetheless, great food and GREAT service. We also got the 50% discount deal from Unilocal,so I am going to give a 5 star for overall experience.

I LOVE Fratelli’s… I go here 2 to 3 times a week. They have a GREAT lunch menu with so many choices. I have tried just about everything. It is cozy, they play great music and I love the food. The prices are very fair especially the lunch specials… My favorite waitress is Jennifer. She is very warm and friendly. They have plenty of parking… The bread they have with a cute little oil dish is always warm and fresh and DELICIOUS!!! FRESH, FRESH, FRESH food!!! I won’t use the Unilocal deal because I am a regular but if you have the chance to try this restaurant try it!

Very disappointing. Service was slow and poor, we waited nearly a half hour for a medium pizza and our drinks never got refilled. The food was mediocre. I will not be visiting again.

Had the lunch special pasta, fettucini alfredo was amazing, but the spaghetti with meat sauce I was hoping would be a little better. The pizza we got too was good, but I think it used to be better years back. Also, I love the bread and sauces it comes out with.

This was our favorite Italian restaurant. Their pizza is amazing. But we decided before we left the house to try other dishes when we went.(We coulnt gwt past their pizza) We had a menu from a month ago so we decided what we were going to order. When we got there we were told they are now charging for the customary bread at the beginning of the meal. When we looked at the menu we noticed the prices had gone up considerably AND the dishes did not include soup or salad anymore. It was another $ 2.50! So the same meal from last month was $ 15.50 is now $ 18.00 plus $ 1 for bread plus $ 2.50 for the soup or salad! That’s $ 21.50! Our bill for all three of us would have been the same if we went to a fancier restaurant. Also, no beer or wine available. The service was not very good. First i had made a reservation online weeks ago. In the comments I asked for the dining area without tvs and wanted a booth that was not near the bathroom. I told the girl at the the front we had reservations. She started to bring us to the side with the tvs. I asked for the other side. She said«lets see if i can do that». Only 2 booths were occupied on the side we wanted. It was 7pm and were were on time. We were seated where we wanted. The waitresses were entertaining themsemselves in the center area by the front desk and not paying attention to their customers. It was difficult to get our waitresses attention and we watched other customers have the same problem. Our waitress had obviously never done this job before. When she brought our chopped salad she asked if we wanted those«things to serve it» «I forget what they’re called». I told her they are called tongs and yes we would like some please! Holy cow! How else were we supposed to serve it? When she brought our pizza she said«Ok. It’s finally here.» Set it down and walked away. It was yummy. The other customers in the room were not happy either. They were a party of six. I noticed 2 of the people got their dinners and then about 15 minutes or so later they were asking where the rest of their meals were. Another 10 minutes later 2 pizzas had come out for them. Boy, gone are the days of good service and resonable prices. What a shame. The pizza is still wonderful. I guess we will just have it delivered and buy a 6 pack of beer from the corner.

Just tried this place for the first time by delivery via . First and last time, at least for a while. Found a hair in our salad and the blooming onion is packed air tight with a plastic cover so it became a greasy soggy pile of onions. The Margherita pizza was good but the large doesn’t feed 4 people like the menu said it would. An XL would have been better. Delivery time was true to estimate and waiter was very polite. May consider dining in for a second chance.

Clearly inexperienced management and every time I go in there there’s new employees which isn’t a good sign. Ordered the chicken piccata and was not impressed. Disappointed with my all around experience and wouldn’t be surprised if this place closes by the end of the month.

I’ve only been here once but this place is so adorable and home-y! The décor isn’t super fancy or anything but still cute and, most importantly, clean! the food is delicious as well and they have quite a few yummy looking desserts too! The staff is very polite and attentive so that’s always a plus. Would definitely recommend! :)

I have passed by this place for years and finally I stopped in. People were nice, place was warm and friendly. I tried their wings, menu said the«Best In Town» and they were pretty good. I thought the«Dona Nella» or «Nella Dona» pizza, I can’t remember the name, was awesome! Great Italian place and totally worth the stop. I’m planning on bringing the wife after this little«Scouting Mission».

I have visited this place twice in two months. Both experiences have been positive. Great food at a reasonable price. Service was good, abet a bit slow at the beginning of our second meal there. No big issue as restaurants all over the U.S. have issues during dinner service. Staff is friendly and kind Worth a try and you can make your own assessment.

This is good solid Americanized Italian nothing more. They have a better than average wine selection for this type of place and a broad selection of food. We have eaten here a dozen times and never experienced poor service or any variation on the quality of the food. Solid go to place for a family meal. My favorite dish is the jumbo cheese ravioli with meat sauce. Having the Thursday night wine special tonight… Awesome!

Mediocre Italian food, but hey, at least they compensate with good, friendly service! And keep in mind my benchmark is serving since I’m from New York where there’s rarely a crappy Italian restaurant(cue Billy Joel’s, «Scene from an Italian Restaurant»). My roommate & I each had the parmigiana with veal. Average-tasting sauce, spaghetti & bread(not piping hot, like I expect from the high-end Italian eateries!). And the veal was kinda sorta hard to cut & chew on(ironically, not the fault of the restaurant, one of their knives I was using broke on first cutting the veal! Seriously!). I’ll probably get rubbed out by the mob for this review! But at least ya’ll who read my review benefit! And THANKGOD my roommate had a two-for-one coupon he bought through a local football team’s fundraiser… Only paying what our dishes were worth … $ 10/pop instead of $ 20!!!

We gave this a second try last thursday. There were more customers, the service seemed much better, the bread was fresher, we had salad instead of soup. My bf tried the lasagna which was really good. I tried the alfredo with chicken and mushrooms, not the best i have had, but good. This time we ordered correctly to use our coupon!

So, after 11 months, I decided to give this place one more shot before completely dropping them from my local restaurant rotation list. Boy, am I ever so glad that I did!!! The menu has changed slightly. They added small plates and happy hour! Who does not like happy hour!!! Since I am a creature of habit, I ordered my usual. I had fried calamari for the appetizer. It was excellent… with the aioli sauce! Super yummy! For my main course, I immensely enjoyed the linguini with pesto sauce. It was cooked to perfection! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! If this place failed you in the past, I highly suggest you give it another shot… like I did! I do not believe you will regret it! Bön Appétit!

We pulled into the area to grab a drink at Starbucks when we noticed the little patio and Italian sign so we thought let’s have dinner… I have to say the food was very good the service was great very attentive we were educated on the olive oils really delightful… why they got 4 stars and not 5? They sat us next to the bathroom and kitchen 7 people went in while we were eating… and the staff in and out of the kitchen dishes clanging… now if they were packed I would totally understand but… They were not… there were soooo many other tables they could have sat us at the patio was empty… We had no idea a bathroom was there because there were curtains covering the doorway… at almost 60 I just want the quiet intimate time with my spouse over a nice meal…

Well this is my first Unilocal review & all i want to say is that im giving this restaurant 5 stars cause i really had a great dining experience there last night. 1st our server. I am so mad at myself for not getting his name. I went with my bf & we got there around 9. Our server was AWESOME. Throughout the whole time we were there he was checking if we had what we needed & being super helpful with comparing prices & boxing our food for us. They gave us a bread platter with some dipping sauces & my bf asked him what they were & he explained & my bf made a joke about me & our server joked with him. I was embarrassed(my bfs fault) but it was pretty funny & our server made us laugh alot & he had really great energy the whole time he served us. I really enjoyed our time there because of him. 2nd our food. We got a chicken alfredo pizza. A small pizza was $ 15 for 8 slices & it filled me up! It was delicious too. I really cant wait to go back & try something else & hopefully see that guy again. I am definately telling everyone about our server & the pizza.

First off, if Unilocal allowed, I would have given 2.5 stars. Unfortunately they don’t… So my wife and I have our date night and sometimes we don’t go out, we’ll get take out and spend time together at home. So we thought– what to eat, what to eat!!! We had no clue, so my wife remembers a while back that we had a meeting with one of our friends at Fratelli’s and the food was REALLY good. So she was in the mood for wings, which they had. So order to pick up it was! I called and the guy over the phone was helpful, but awkward at the same time. I’m not familiar with their menu, so I was asking questions to see what we should order. They had a pizza and wings combo, so I got that. It was a medium two topping pizza and 12 wings for $ 22, plus I was in the mood for an appetizer, so I found they have a blooming onion, so I ordered that as well. We were pretty excited. Not so much for the Pizza, but my wife for the wings and I wanted the blooming onions(yes I had onion breath! How lovely it is…). We had to plan the pick up between putting our two little ones to sleep. Kind of difficult to do, but I planned it, and told the employee over the phone that I’ll be there in 20 mins right before I hung up with him and he said«great». So I’m thinking — my food will be ready in 20 mins. I put baby to sleep, I jump in the car and gun it there so I can pick up the food and it won’t get cold sitting there… I got there in exactly 20 mins from our phone call and what do I get??? ‘Sorry sir, we are waiting on the wings…’ Okay, it can’t take that long to cook some little wings… So I said no problem, thinking that the wait will be 5 mins of less. I swear to you it took another 20 minutes! 40MINUTESTOMAKEWINGS!!! 10 minutes into my wait I got impatient, left, went to Von’s up the street, did some shopping, and came back. THEN it was ready right when I got back. The nice thing is that one employee asked me if I wanted a drink while I wait(I’m not sure if he would have charged me or not, but I said no…). So I have the food, rush back home, and we’re ready to eat. I have to say, their Pizza is delicious! It always has been. Their wings are pretty delicious. My wife wanted the sauce on the side, which I’m not crazy about, but it’s her prerogative. We enjoyed the wings as well. Now the blooming onion… Sorry, it was such a disappointment! It was placed in a aluminum container, and maybe it was the crazy wait time for the wings that did this, but it was as if it wasn’t cooked, fried well, and it was soggy. Blooming onions are fried and I’m no chef, but I believe fried foods should have some type of hard, crunchy texture to it. These were limp. Then the sauce for it was a weird spicy sauce. So why 2.5−3 stars? They should inform the customer how long the food will take to be ready. Some people don’t have 40 minutes just to sit around. This is a big no no to me. It really sucks! And I have to mention, it was a Wednesday night, so its not that busy… Second the blooming onions were horrible. So Will I go back to Fratelli’s? I think so. I don’t know how soon… Would I recommend it? For the food, yes(except for the blooming onions!!), for the service… I don’t know…

Visited last night at around 8pm for the first time, surprisingly busy for that time, seemed like single servers for the front of the house, wasn’t overly clear spoken on some information. Ordered peperoni thin crust pizza, spaghetti with meat sauce adding meat balls, with clam chowder soup. First took annoyingly long to get drinks after sitting down. Then about 25 min later we got the pizza portion of meal at least… 10 minutes after that finally got the spaghetti. Pizza was overall pretty good. Spaghetti and its meat sauce didn’t have much flavor but whatever. However the meatballs were quite bland with basically no flavor, tasted like plain ground beef basically… After eating some of the food, the ‘dish boy’ and server would come around regularly asking if we want a box yet for our food, happened probably around three times, each time saying we were still eating… After getting check a while later paid and left, then next day realized that during the whole time I was there they never gave me the clam chowder that was supposed to come with my spaghetti… Really don’t plan on coming here again, and if I do it will just be for pizza pickup and nothing else…

This place is amazing to go to for a group of people. I like to go during happy hour where we get all sort of food and all share. I like to take the kids with us. The prices are not bad and prices are not bad either. It is a family owned business which I love! I am all about supporting local businesses in the area. The bread they bring out to the table is sooooo good. Olive bread that is. I order to go food at times as well. Try this place out if you haven’t. I love it
