Smoothies N’ Things Cafe

I was in Montgomery recently for a day trip, and as I was walking around the city, I decided to consult Unilocal for a place to enjoy a nice lunch. Fortunately, I found this place that was less than 0.1 miles away from me. After all, Montgomery isn’t that big…
Right around lunch time, a lot of the local businessmen and women were dining here as well. Everyone who worked here was super friendly. They have a great selection of both paninis and smoothies on their menu. I ended up getting the chicken pesto panini and a 24 oz. strawberry mango smoothie (~$ 11). Both were delicious. The panini was very fresh, but could have used more pesto in my opinion. Also, while it was nice that the panini was cut in half, many of the ingredients would fall out of the sandwich as soon as I picked it up (mostly cuts of the chicken since it was heavier). The smoothie was very refreshing, and sweet, but not too overly sweet in my opinion. I’m biased though, since I’m a huge sweets person in general.
Overall, I’m glad that I stopped in here for lunch and if I lived locally, I would definitely be back.

As usual, everything was great. Usually I stop by on my lunch break to pick up a wrap and a smoothie but today I had time to dine in. The cashier was polite as always and very patient with my friend who had never been there before. She made some great recommendations too. While we waited on our food we sat in the dining area. It was just as cozy as the lounge side I usually sit on while waiting for my food (note you can sit wherever you want when you go in). My strawberry banana smoothie came up first, to which I was promptly notified. Then our food came up shortly afterwards. My friend is now a fan like me.

This is really just a tip I picked up. I wanted to have my order delivered but when I called her she said they don’t. Why does Unilocal have then losted as delivery then? If someone knows something I dont please feel free to tell.

Stopped here for a smoothie as I wondered around the downtown area. Their menu had a nice selection of sandwiches, wraps, and salads. I ordered the fountain of youth smoothie and it was very good. Definitely worth the stop for a cool refreshing drink and a quick lunch.

We were visiting Montgomery and found this little gem on Unilocal,so I stopped in for lunch with my 9 year old. We shared a turkey and swiss sandwich and a strawberry smoothie — So Good! I’m a bit of a bread snob, and their wheat bread is perfect. Service was great, place is cool, kinda funky. Enjoyed it so much we went back again before we left town :-)

I stopped by here to pick up lunch to take out. I ordered a combination lunch, smoothie and half sandwich. The ingredients for the sandwich was fresh and the smooth was delicious!
Definitely come back to try some more next time.
