Great place for the kids ! We took our class for a field trip and we had a great time. The staff were so helpful and really seemed to enjoy entertaining the kids. Absolutely going to bring my family out here to go through the maze. Worth the drive if your considering coming from a distance.

I am writing a review on this farm based on their fall activities. We came and enjoyed the pumpkin patch, pig races, hayride, duck races, playground with various activities, Caltrain, corn maze, water cannons and bouncing pillow. We arrived at what I would consider the perfect time. Approximately 4 o’clock in the afternoon. The sun was just about to set and everything had cooled off for the day. Our first venture once we entered the farm was to do the duck races. These proved to be very fun and my daughter enjoyed every minute of it. We all took a turn and she did the water races at least three times with the duck. The best part about it is she got to keep the duck and take it home. The water cannons are one dollar per shot and personally I would say you can skip this activity. It’s very similar to a potato launcher and not worth the dollar per shot as you are just shooting water bottles to cardboard cutouts, but that’s just me. We ventured to the hayride. It was perfect and very informative about what the farm offers during other parts of the seasons for those that are not aware and also tells you about the Poole family. They have beef that they raise and sell in their shop that is free range and of excellent quality, they sometimes have strawberries, they have pick your own BlackBerries, they also sell honey from bees on the farm as well but my father raises bees so I always get my honey from him. During the summer we visited to get fresh vegetables from them and will be back. We took pictures with the various cutouts on the farm about surviving the corn maze and through the other very picturesque things that they have set aside. Arriving at the time we did was perfect to get in a hayride, take some photographs, my daughter to have a bit of fun and then head to the pig races. We got to meet the farms mascot Mr. pig and enjoy the pig races. It was a lot of fun and really cute with a full little comedy skit filled in with Mr. Poole and his son. There are several concession stands as well as a general store where you can purchase items that the farm raises like the Angus meat and honey. The pumpkin patch had a very good selection and reasonable prices along with 50 Cent gourds to purchase for decoration and Hay bales for same. The farm is a vast, and even when it is packed there’s plenty of room to feel like you are not claustrophobic and surrounded by people. There’s various places throughout to take some time, listen to a live band if you choose, drink some good old Texas sweet tea and relax under the shade of the various trees. We braved the corn maze! This is probably one of the biggest reasons that people come out for this event is to experience the corn maze. This was the fourth year that the farm had done the maze and the theme was blackberries. The corn is cut into a very intricate maze that from the sky, you can see has a big BlackBerry in the middle along with various wording. They give you a map and also make it extra fun in the sense that you can solve a mystery while in the maze by approaching various signs that are hidden within the maze. There are two mazes, although they intertwine, for you to choose from. One is supposed to be a bit shorter and then there is the big one. However, you could easily get lost in the big maze while attempting to brave just the smaller maze as they are not separated. We took the big maze, and it was worth it and I would do it next time as well! We had a lot of fun giggling and trying to figure out our way through the maze. We circled back a few times when getting caught in the«O’s» and eventually found our way out. There are supposed to be corn cops in the maze, although we did not find them. There was a man that was in the big blue tower overlooking to assist with a relative direction. There was also a lookout bridge at the very beginning for you to gain perspective of just how massive the corn maze is. The farm informs you that after the fall season, they harvest the corn and use it to feed some of the animals on the farm. Therefore, they ask that you do not eat it or damage it. They also are adamant about creating a family atmosphere that everyone can enjoy which is very much appreciated knowing that most people are coming there as a family. On a sidenote, the Pooles are an incredible family themselves and have had this farm for generations. It is nice to see that they have kept it within the family and the newer generations are also involved in it. I have known them since I was a little girl growing up and they are truly wonderful people. P-6 has something for everyone year round so if you are in the general area, go by and see the Poole family
