Our neighbors were up until 3 am. All though it was not the hotels fault, the staff did nothing other then say«that stinks»! No kidding! One very tired customer!

Very pleased. Staff was very helpful. Had our one year old traveling with us and required a lot of assistance. Very nice experience.

I’ve been a loyal Marriott guy for years, so when house hunting we stayed here. My overall impression is that it’s starting to get a bit old. The rooms smell a bit musty, at least the 2 that we were in did. The walls are a bit thin too. Our first room was right next to the elevator so we heard the chime every time someone used it. Plus, why put us there when other rooms are available and we’re Gold members? Staff seemed rather indifferent to their task most of the time. Not a bad stay but it did no impress.

Very clean room. Temperamental A/C. Nice staff. VERY thin walls. Comfortable beds. Not quite worth the price

My second time staying at this hotel in Montgomery, AL. The hotel is probably a 3.5 instead of 4. We reserved the biggest room because of traveling with two small kids and the room is too small for the price. However, breakfast was free and has a good selection(except no bacon-only nasty sausage). The wifi signal is pretty good and the house keeping staff was real good about cleaning our rooms during our long stay and leaving extra towels. I would recommend this hotel for people traveling without kids or no more than 1.

Really about a 3.2. This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in this area. If you come here often you know that most of the hotel choices are subpar at best. The location is good, the newness is better and the rooms are decent. In an area where this is the best thing going, take what you can get because your other choices go down hill from here. No discredit to the hotel but was very disappointed to be in the location where everything was so close like shopping and dining but yet there were no sidewalks… Just a thought might help with the obesity in the area, if people walked a little more. Disappointed to get in the car to have to go less than a mile because the road is unsafe to walk in.

Wow, never thought i’d be a fan of a Fairfield Inn I actually haven’t stepped in one in forever. What a surprise, this was brand new, nicely appointed which was refreshing. Room was adequate, AC was a bit on the loud since, but I enjoyed my stay there nevertheless.

I love Marriott because of their ability to have consistent nice hotels around the country. Now, this is not a luxury hotel and it is right next to the highway, but that’s perfect if you are there to travel around the Montgomery area. The room was set at a chilly 61 degrees when I got there, but it’s August in the South. That’s just how they do it. I turned my AC down to around 70 and set up my computer for their fabulous free internet. Great speed and easy to get running. They have feather pillows and a comfy bed. I slept like a baby and the AC was not wildly loud, nor did I really notice it. The free breakfast was standard: bagels, toast and muffins, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and a make-your-own waffle machine. Just what you’d expect from a FREE breakfast. The hotel is also about a mile away from the new(er) Eastchase Shopping Plaza, something of a novelty for the locals, and a great place to find dinner for the travelers. The workout room is very small, two treadmills and two ellipticals, but that’s my only complaint. The staff was so friendly it was almost annoying. Almost, but not really.

Not the nicest Marriott property which I have visited… I won’t be back. The room was OK… Just OK! The AC was so loud that I could not leave it on. The fan was loud and the room got extremely hot. At 0200 I had to turn the AC on because it was so hot in the room. After an hour had to turn it back off because the noise was so extremely loud. I am glad I only had to stay here one night… The is a Hampton Inn less than a mile away.

Friendly staff. Rooms were ok but missing microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator. Very noisy fan/ac. Limited and very basic free breakfast — poor selection and presentation.
