Starbucks

The staff is always nice and knows my drink. They are quick to get drinks out and always in a good mood. They make my service dog feel welcomed. Starbuck in that area is a great addition to Del Rey Oaks

The morning staff are super friendly and cheerful, even amidst the morning rush!
The wait can be a little long if you get there in the heat of the rush.
Unfortunately, I’ve had 2 drinks made without the flavor syrup :-/​and it wasn’t until I got all the way to work that I discovered it. For being a $ 5 coffee that isn’t drinkable, that’s major disappointment.
I still frequent this location and appreciate the friendly smiles that welcome me in the door!

Nice people but at 9:30 am after the morning rush didn’t expect to wait 20 minutes for one drink

I purchased a quad shot flat white with coconut milk this morning, using my ceramic Starbucks mug. With tip it came to $ 5.75. Due to the line of mobile orders, after ten minutes, the barista still had not started my order. I use the mug in order to cut down on waste. I get a massive ten cents off of every drink when I use it. Therefore, can’t call in a mobile order in order to use the mug. I gave up after ten minutes and walked out after requesting the return of my mug. What your store and management is telling me is that filling mobile orders is more important than in-​person orders that use a ceramic mug in order to help the environment. The store is on Canyon Del Rey and Highway 68 in Monterey, CA. The fault is not entirely theirs. Starbucks decision to go with this model is the main reason. I’ll not return until you can figure this out. And I will tell my friends and shareholders to do the same.

Crap customer service. The girl was making my tea, and grabs the trash can to pull it out from under the counter then pushes it back in. Proceeds to put the same hand over the moth piece of my lid and then seems insulted when I politely ask for a new lid. And then doesn’t make my sandwich

Awesome location. Even when they are swamped busy, they are polite and always happy to see you!

This starbucks really disappoints me. I am forced to come to this location when I am at work nearby. The worker Uli is the reason I am writing this review. She very much has a poor attitude and makes the customer continually feel «stupid.» I have witnessed her to it to other customers, not just me, and I don’t like it. Overall, messy location and never my first choice.

Great coffee. The staff is always courteous and friendly. Really nice indoor seatong. And also has free wifi. Pastry selection is like all starbucks, fresh and simple

Store employees unable to handle any sort of rush. Drinks and beverages are made correctly just plan on things taking longer than usual.

Every time I have been here there is a female employee who is chipper and upbeat ontop of always smiling, that’s a good start to any morning and i wish we all would do the same because a smile is contagious!
my coffees have always been good and always been fast… love it! they do have outdoor seating and it’s always clean there.
I have made this my coffee shop due to how close it is to where I live. I love the Corral Market but this Starbucks runs circles around Corral coffee… sorry guys/​gals.

Got coffee here while visiting, good fast service. Always love my coffee at almost every location of Starbucks I have been too so far.

It is Starbucks but it is well staffed and fast in the morning. Not much to complain about

First of all, I’m not a huge fan of the new redesign, but I guess it was the only solution for the small location. Service is good, product is decent. It’s a clean location. Just keep in mind, they get ALOT of traffic, so they don’t always have food in stock.

This is like any other Starbucks… unfortunately nothing really stands out as better or worse than other Starbucks in the area.
The bathrooms are clean, the coffee is hot and the staff are full of smiles! :)
I’ll continue to drink my nonfat hazelnut lattes!

I love the taste of Starbucks coffee and drink it almost everyday. The first week of July I went to this location and the cashier wiped her nose then prepared my cup while holding the mouth of the cup with all her fingers. I told her that she needs to wash her hands and redo the cup. She did in an angry looking move she made which was obvious she didn’t like it. Then she double charged me to take her anger out. When I asked for the manager, I young white guy said he is in charge now, so I explained the situation to him, he said «what she did is not right, I will have a talk with her». He still did not offer to give me my money back for the overcharge and am just amazed at the ripoff! I wonder what would Starbucks stakeholders would think of that. I haven’t been in this store until today and see the white girl is still here, enjoy touching her face and making coffee.
The other young lady who is making other drinks has two different hair colors is absolutely awesome-​sclean, friendly, and professional. Starbucks need to work on the cleaning standards!!!

It was finally good to find a Starbucks in Monterey but the wait for the drink were quite long

The girls who work there are really sweet. Even when it is busy they get you your drink fast.

Love Starbucks, but this one is SUPER busy in the morning! You will have to wait forever to get your coffee and finding parking is a nightmare! Great outdoor seating though for those sunny days and the staff is amazing! Come during off-​business hours to get quick service.

I’m upgrading from two stars to three because they seem to have worked out some, but not all, of their speed problems. There’s still the generic Starbucks problem here, writ very large, so it’s a weak three.

So, honestly, I absolutely hated this place for about 2 years because the drive-​through is ALWAYS super slow. However, I was recently in search of a new laptop-​and-​coffee spot. The cute little bakery down the street had internet issues, so I ended up here … And am so glad I did!
Staff is friendly, laid back and fun. The drive-​through girl was walking around the store re-​stocking and such while talking on her little earpeice, and she was so adorable! Hip and fun and seemed like she was having THE BEST time at work. Love.
Internet was slowish, but I find that to be true of most Sbucks. Enough tables to accomodate me and my fellow internet-​ers while still having some spots for people just enjoying their beverage and pastry. I love the little blinds they have, as the sun can definitely be a problem mid-​day (a good kind of a problem, but a problem when you’re on a computer).
Please don’t come here with your laptop and steal a table that would otherwise be mine. Use the slow drive-​thru so I can still get my spot :)
