Good coffee. Pastries are excellent. If you work up here, definitely take advantage of the location. If driving up Ragsdale, worth a stop. Note this is not a high volume Starbucks type place.

I adore Parker-Lusseau’s coffee, food and staff! The coffee is local, the ingredients are all high quality and the staff is friendly. If you’re at Ryan Ranch and need a snack or drink do not hesitate to stop by and try something. If you’re in time try the soup!

I just had a beautifully prepared latte here and will come back for more. What a hidden gem in a mostly business dominated area!

I love Parker Lusseau! I work close by and love to walk over for their pastries and lunch options, especially the quiche. The staff is really nice and friendly & the place is clean and cheery. They do run out of things toward the end of the day, so try to go on the earlier side of lunchtime.

One of only three lunch options in Ryan Ranch. Most expensive of the three, but best quality. Pastries excellent. All the food is very good but portions are smaller and pricey. They run out of some items not long after the lunch hour. Never heard a complaint on quality from anyone. Many coworkers go there regularly. I’m an infrequent customer, solely because of the prices.

Really great option for Ryan Ranchers… close enough to walk for tasty, fresh food. Their pastries and cakes are also really good. Their lunches are really good, but they are also a bit pricy. Their Caesar salad dressing is the best I’ve had, and I lick it out of the container. Which is odd for me because I usually don’t use much salad dressing. Unfortunately, their coffee is not very good. Their espresso is ok, so stick to a latte or americano… but not the coffee. They have a decent tea selection too. Nice outdoor seating, or indoors by the fireplace on a chilly day if you can beat the crowd. Nice, helpful staff… but sometimes a line can form… so be patient!

This place is overpriced, but the quality is there. This place makes the best chocolate chai ever. Its not on the menu, but if you ask for it they will make it and it will be awesome. Suck it starbucks!

There’s a shortage of walkable options for lunch in the immediate area and Parker-Lusseau starts to fill the gap. As a lunch option, the sandwiches are really good, but they’re also a bit pricy given the quality. The sandwiches are assembled, wrapped, and refrigerated in advance. Nothing wrong with that per se; the sandwiches truly are delicious. When I drop into a place like this, I expect to have amazing coffee, but that’s not what I found. The coffee is okay, but not great. Improve on the coffee and this place can be a winner. Coffee and pastries are an amazing combination when done right. Views from the outdoor seating are amazing on a sunny day.

I’m a fan! Great location, great prices, great quality. Helpful and friendly staff. You can’t beat the sunny patio M-F and the pastries are to die for!

If you work on «the Ranch», upper or lower you know this place. The CS is ALWAYS excellent and they have the best sweet treats you could ask for. Some call it pricey, but I’m a firm believer in quality not quantity and everything behind the glass is QUALITY. They also do yummy salads and specialty coffees too. Absolutely LOVE the PLP!

found this place because I was craving desserts while traveling to Monterey for work. Park Lusseau happened to be right down the street from the client’s office. They have a great selection of cakes(get the pistachio rasberry one!) and there are also quiches, salads, and sandwiches. I don’t usually eat quiches, but I got the mushroom quiche to-go on my way to the airport and thought it was pretty delicious. Would definitely be back next time I’m in Monterey! Note: I think they do run out of stuff as the day goes on, so better get in earlier. Or, if you call/drop by the day before, they will reserve specific cakes for you :)

I showed up at about 2 after a horrible day of meetings. I wanted something fast to run back to the office to eat. They were out of everything except salads. I got a Caesar salad that was very small for $ 6. Not worth it. Desserts looked nice, but I won’t go here for a meal again.

Very convenient location for me as I can see it from my office window, I would go there much more often if it wasn’t as expensive as it is. The Quiche Loraine was very good, especially warmed up it had a perfect texture and taste. The Caesar Salad was ok, the cheese and croutons were good but the dressing was a bit strange and there wasn’t enough of it to get more than half of the lettuce. The free samples up front are great, I tried the pumpkin apple caramel cake, ridiculously good. The service was very good, while I was waiting for my quiche to heat up the woman in front told me about everything they had in their display case, in detail. Some of those descriptions haunt my dreams. Minus one star because I ended up spending about $ 10 and was still kind of hungry when I was done. I know that I was paying for the quality but more often than not I am going to go for the $ 5 burrito in Seaside that I can’t finish :-)
