The recycling container that used to be in front of nob hill is now gone… likewise for the container in front of safeway up the hill.

I have never had an issue at this place, despite all of the negative reviews. The gentleman pictured is always polite and professional. I go within the operating hours listed on the site, and have never been turned away. I would absolutely recommend this site to anyone.

Worst place ever! I was hesitant to go here cause if the reviews I read and well let’s just say I should of listen to them! The guy closed at 4:30 I got there at 4:19pm exact and the guy turned me away cause he had two people ahead of him! Really? He said cause he been busy or overwhelmed well buddy you should look for a new job! You shouldn’t turn away a customer until it hits 4:30 exact!!! What kinda of service is that I mean he’ll your getting paid hourly! He was a white guy with dark brown hair and a beard he is the worst!

This place is always closed, Show up at 4:20 in the afternoon and the guy turned me away said he opened again the next day at 10. My 2nd attempt was a Monday and they are closed all day. 3rd try was the following Tuesday at 11:15 AM and there was a sign that said they would return at 2! Apparently they only operate for a random 3 hours a day. Don’t waste your time trying to do business here.

I would recommend this recycling facility. Super friendly guy working there and it was cleaner than I expected. Line was not too long. Plenty of parking.
They even have hand sanitizer for you.
He doesn’t mind if you sort in line either which they do at some other places.

Don’t recommend dropping recycle items here.
They make «Weight adjustment» based upon ‘what we feel is fair’, regarding the condition of the items.
What that means, is that if they see a trace of soda, on one can, then the whole drop off is reduced. I dropped of plastic (–20%), Glass (–20%), aluminum (–10%).
Go somewhere else, or AT LEAST ask the person working what the adjustment will be, BEFORE they weight.
When I find a drop off that is fair, I will post ASAP, so keep an eye out for that review
