These people are slower than molasses!!! Drive through was packed so I went inside. There was only one other person in line, and it still took 15 minutes!

For FASTFOOD, they are the best around. Everyone has ALWAYS been very professional and really nice; not very common at fast food. Another thing that impresses me is there food is always hot; I can’t tell you how many times I order fast food in the drive-through and I get it and it’s barely warm to cold. I try not to eat a lot of fast food, but if I’m going to eat it, I’ll eat it here.

I went in tonight starving, decided on a mushroom burger. Went chose my beverage. Then sat down in the corner of the restaurant entertained myself with my phone. They where pretty busy so I was prepared for a wait time. After 15 mins I thought any moment now… 20 mins went by and nothing still I gave them a little longer. 25 mins hit and I got up to peek everyone in the restaurant had food except me, even the ones that ordered after me. I walked up to the counter and asked how long my order would take? The guy at the counter, the same one that took my order looked baffled, so I said«you know if it’s not already being made, I’d like to cancel.» Keep in mind I didn’t mind the mistake I was just over it. Then I hear one of the women in the back yell out that it was my fault! They made it but when they looked for me they didn’t find me. I heard it loud and clear then she looks down to see me and says it again. Which I found extremely disrespectful. Then the manager comes out to give me my refund but slides in the same comment just a little nicer. I didn’t say much, just took my money and left. I did what you’re suppose to do, go sit down an put your order number on the table. I can understand you may have missed me, but instead of checking again they just stopped. Which just says you’re ok with taking a customers money but not delivering! On top of not being fed and wasting my time you make me feels uncomfortable. Thank you but no thanks!

Service was OK… Milk shake not full. I’ve seen cleaner truck stop bathrooms. Seriously it was gross. Paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor.

How much damn sauce can you put on a burger? Everytime I end up goin to this place the burger has so much sauce the bun slides off the top and when you bite it ketchup and mayo squirt out of the sides .all I can think of is some kid dancing around shooting a fully automatic ketchup gun from one side of the room to another with burgers indiscriminately scattered around the kitchen. I don’t understand why anyone would want that much sauce. And after trying to order it with no sauce getting a burger that has the craziest amount of sauce on it idn if they did it to spite me or if the guy was just extra trigger happy today either way I’m not goin back to this place again

Hi guys :) I know that this place doesn’t deserve 5 stars, but why two stars. If we don’t like this place why we’re coming here and review it, maybe it is better to leave them with no reviews. I am not gonna talk about the food, but I think this is the only fast food place that does table service in PG. Also $ 1.39 for a sandwich OMG that’s so cheap. The fries were so great. ****** seven stars for the fries ;) lol I will take two stars because of the following reasons: I asked the guy for mayonnaise, he said: how many I said two. And never saw him again. One sandwich came too hot the other too cold. Total 5 stars, see I was right.

They no longer have the charbroiled cod. Probably didn’t get enough takers. Now they have a deep-fried cod sandwich. No flavor, little texture – just a soggy bun full of grease & meh. The waffle cut(«Crisscut») fries were good, but maybe a bit steep in price at $ 2.79. Service was friendly but a bit slow.

I like Carl’s Jr. burgers. Heck, I even prefer their burgers to In-and-out’s. But the place need to be cleaner and brighter. I feel some kind of depressing atmosphere when I eat there. So I usually take out my order.

Place smells bad! Our order was completed right away. We got our food in a matter of minutes. Order was messed up… Burger special orders were mixed up and onion rings were missing their batter… Dining room had a bad smell.

This place is NASTY and UNSANITARY! This review is based off of a visit on the night of August 01, 2014. I almost never ever eat fast food, but I had to grab something because everywhere else was closed. When I came in, the kid working the drive thru and the register took my order after a 10 minute wait. I ordered a Jalapeño Burger. What made me sick was that every burger that came out, came in these black burger boxes, and he would open the box with his bare hands and his thumb would run against the burger bun, meat, the cheese, and the lettuce. F*CK’N NASTY! he did it to mine too, but I had to go. I was hungry and I didn’t want to make a scene and have them give me the Midnight Special Sauce… If you want a dude to handle money and then put his dirty thumb into your meat and your buns, order here. The burger was gross too. Grey meat, mushy jalapeños. Fries were not good.

Still grungy after all these years. We went back after 3 years hankering for a Jalapeño Burger. They were greasy and the fries were literally soaking in grease. And the place itself was disgusting. Debris and detritus all over the floor. They need to fire everyone, get a new manager and properly train new people.

Good food for what I expect at a fast food restaurant, but painfully slow. Every time I’ve visited I’ve waited a substantial amount of time. Maybe it’s worth the wait? Not many other options in the area.

Honestly, giving any fast food burger joint anything above 3 stars seems a bit ridiculous… so, take the two stars for what it is. Went for lunch, from order to food in hand took less than 5 minutes. Fries were hot/fresh. The burger; good mr «big carl», was neither of those. I’m doubtful my opinion would change had it been fresh. The attempt at copying the Big Mac is a failed one. Awful. Also, extra pickles sounds nothing like without pickles. I suppose that is me being picky, but… meh. Plenty of other options on the peninsula.

I don’t know what my deal is. Every now and then I drink copious amounts of alcohol and put my liver through a workout, and some times it’s my stomach. Enter the double western bacon cheeseburger with fried zucchini in for fries on my combo. Yes. I know. Calories. Sodium. Fat. I know. Sometimes I just don’t care. Anyway– the patties were a little more towards warm than hot, the onion rings weren’t fresh, and there was little, if any BBQ sauce on my bun. Come on people. You have to drop my zucchini in the fryer anyway; get me two fresh rings on my burger. If I’m going to put that crap in my body, I want it to at least taste good. And for the record, my stomach let me know what it thought of my meal choice. It was quite unhappy.

While I really do enjoy the food and the fast service, I only drive up these days when I am in a hurry as this is close to work. The inside of this place leaves something to be desired… usually a hot shower and a scrub down! I don’t think I have ever been inside and seen the place in a clean condition. It usually looks like a terrible group of toddlers has just been in and trashed the place. And as I type this, I have to wonder what the kitchen looks like. :\ Is the food worth it? Maybe in a pinch. The burritos are good, but I’d just as soon go to Taco Bell for the same thing at a cheaper price. I like their burgers and their curly fries, but you can really get something comparable somewhere else and save yourself the grossed out feeling.

Ghastly! Picture this: It’s a big, well-staffed restaurant. It’s a quiet evening, about 7:00 p.m. There are perhaps 10 customers at tables and two in line — - yet the joint is a mess. There is only one table of the 20 or so that are free that is clean. The floor is littered throughout. The bathroom looks like an all-night gas station. And the food? Miserable — my charbroiled chicken sandwich is a slimy, inedible mess. It HAS been cooked. I can tell because the edges are burned. I eat at other Carl’s locations and have always been impressed by the quality of the fast-food. This location is an aberration. I would have written directly to Carl himself … if he weren’t dead and if their website were accepting comments. While I will go to my home-based Carl’s, I won’t go back to this location until the health department signs off on it. It’s that bad.

NOTE: My original review was removed by Unilocal staff«because it promotes bigotry.» I have modified my review with the aim of removing such unthinkable indelicacies on my part. Here we go again! The food was bland, yet insipid. The iced tea was undrinkable, yet awful. The service was poor, yet impolite. Observation: It appears that all the staff speak English as a second language, and share the same first language. I don’t speak that language, so clearly, I’m not qualified to identify it, even though you hear this same mysterious foreign language around here all the time. Hmm. I wonder what language it could be? My clerk couldn’t understand half of what I said, kept calling a «cheeseburger» a «cheese hamburger,» and even though I repeated parts of my order several times, she still got it wrong. I hope it’s not bigoted to make negative but true observations; if it is, please let me know, and I’ll stop writing reviews of business that provide poor service. At the end, when something went wrong with the register(it was«processing» my credit card for several minutes), the clerk just sat and stared at the register. No apologies, no attempts to fix it, no calling to get help. Finally, just when I was about to ask for a manager, one came over and spoke to the clerk in that same mysterious foreign language(I hope it’s not bigoted to make that observation). I finally got my receipt, but no apology for the interminable delay. Anyway, due to a combination of bad food and poor service, I won’t go back.
