Atlantic Square Dental

Really have to give a big shout out to Dr. Miranda for helping me with a long running and really bad toothache. I came in without an appointment and the staff was courteous, professional, and quick. Great patient care and I will definitely be coming back.

My friend recommended that I come here since it is close to where I live. I came to this office for the first time last month to cure my painful tooth, and I have never had a better experience. The appointment booking was very fast. The people at the front desk were very friendly and the office is very organized. The doctor and her assistant were efficient as they worked quickly with quality. At first I was skeptical about whether they could do a decent job, but I am overly ecstatic with the result. I received a root canal treatment (as terrifying as it sounds, I wasn’t afraid at all) and the doctor fully explained everything about it and how to take care of it. My tooth stopped hurting and I am feeling great now. I am so thankful for finding a dentist who is so warm and helpful to the patients.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Took me long enough to get an appt here. The receptionist (some want to be funny guy) would not schedule my appt without having my insurance info. Which the other dentist I ended up going to had no problem scheduling my appt and gathering my insurance info. The place is kind of shoddy looking. From the décor and the inside facility. Not very clean looking. Now to the dentist. I had told the receptionist I was pregnant mind you but my tooth was aching very bad! I was afraid of an infection. No point at anytime during my scheduling of that appt did he tell me to get a clearance form from my ob gyn so they could work on me. I arrived 15 mins early to get paperwork done they didn’t see me for 30 mins later. The dentist (with the short hair don’t remember her name) was RUDE! She told me she couldn’t work on me with out a note from my ob! I practically begged her to see me that I would call my drs office for anything they needed right now. I was in tears. The dentist rudely told me no! Go get note from dr then drop off then make new appt! I walked out of that office and safe to say they lost a patient! Never going there again! How rude and unprofessional! I am so Thankful for the dentist just down the street By Bank of America. I didn’t have an appt the same day they took me in right away got the info from my dr and all is well!

If this is the facility that is adjacent to the postal centre/​across from GNC then here goes my review based on having been a patient for approximately 10 years:
They have been pretty gentle with me, explain procedures, etc. I’ve had xrays, deep cleaning, and regular cleanings. I have pretty great teeth so i haven’t had the need for any serious work.
My husband on the other hand, has been a patient too and was poked in the mouth, under the tongue. They must have poked a salivary gland because it swelled up like a horrible blister (it filled up but eventually after some warm salt water rinses it went down).
They also removed a tooth without exploring other options for saving the tooth.
They pulled one of my sons (6 year old) teeth out as well. They seem to be happy to just pull teeth.
The facility is not up to par with what one would expect. the xray technology they have is old. In pasadena Dr. Balikian at South Lake Dental has xrays that come up immediately on the computer screen. Also, at Pasadena Dental (i think they’re on walnut) i have my wisdoms removed and they had this really cool revolving xray scanner that moves around your head and you dont have to deal with those painul and annoying cardboard squares being stuck in your mouth at every which angle for the old xray technology.
Needless to say, after having some negative experiences with Dr. Miranda and Goretti Li, we will no longer be coming to Atlantic Square Dental.
Looking for a new dentist in the area.
