Sergio’s Tacos

Perfect place to eat after running errands all day. The food is delicious and the price is right. I eat there because I like my food hot.

After church and going to Entenmann’s my wife and I went to Sergio’s Taco’s for lunch this is our first time at the restaurant. It’s a small restaurant but I heard from friends who goes church with us says the food is amazing good. My wife and I have to go Sergio’s Taco’s and try the food out. I order the chili renello combination with rice and refried beans and my wife order the Tamale combination and a order of taquito.
I enjoy the chili renello very much it have great flavors and the cheese was so good and plus cheesy. The rice and the fried beans were really good flavor and hand made flour tortilla was good I can tell was scratch made. My wife enjoy her Tamale combination including the beef and sweet tamale. The taquitos was really good we enjoy it. Everything at the restaurant is scratch made and made daily.

This is the spot for tacos and burritos. The burritos come with a generous portion of meat — which is not always the case at other tacos shops. Their green chili is tasty and adds the perfect kick to their tacos. Their tortillas are delicious and add to the meal.

Came here because of rave reviews the tacos gets, but there isn’t anything special about this place. Mexican food has gotten way to pricey; if you want some good tacos you’re better off making some at home.

Sergio’s is located inside a dingy, small strip mall. The inside looks very «authentic.» You don’t come here for the atmosphere thats for sure! I ordered 2 carne asada tacos. The meat is tender and full of flavor! Actually pretty bomb! There’s no salsa bar here but they do have the red and green hot sauces in bottles. You can find them on the counter or randomly on tables. The red hot sauce will burn your mouth, but it was awesome! Green hot sauce was my favorite. You can taste the chilies and it’s the perfect amount of spiciness. The lime and a few pieces of radish will come on your plate. Overall, the tacos were pretty tasty. Not my favorite place, but it’s one of the best places in Montebello.

First time here. I work down the street alway drive by finally stopped and it was well worth it. Ac cold food hot ceviche on point tacos de pescado are perfect avocado is fresh. You need to stop by

The below comment was usually myself and my husbands answer when it came to tacos. Any day of the week we wanted some good tacos or a good wet burrito… Sergios delivered!
I just came from there today and their prices went up and the sauce they put on the wet burrito was watered down
They usually never got my order right but this time I had enough.

MMMM… I love the tacos and burritos here. The salsa is great also the pickled vegetables. Just remember to make sure you check your food if you take it to go. I ordered 2 carne asada burritos, then when I got home it was pork :(. Other then that I have no complaints.

Last night was my last indulge mentioned for the memorial day weekend. I had to finish my being bad streak with Sergios Tacos… My special order of nachos was delish. The food is great, the salsa is great, the Staff is great. this place has been around for a while. If it was a little cleaner I’d give it a five star…

small little place but good food! they have delicious tacos and reasonably prices. Their burritos are great as well… Definitely recommend their carne asada tacos :)

Nasty place to eat. A hole in the wall place. There specialty are tacos and the meat smells and always dry, the red chilly sauce always gives me hart burn. I don’t know why people here say the food is so good. The only thing good here are the carne asada nachos. I only give one star just becase I have to or else I’ll give no star at all.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Most delicious tacos and burritos ever! I always come here and never leave disappointed. The salsas are really good and honestly everything is just delicious lol. 5+ stars!

HOT HOT HOT… Carne Asade Soft Tacos are the best… First time I ordered with hot sauce and I couldn’t take the heat. Next time, I ordered without the Hot Sauce, and put mild sauce on it. I really could taste the flavor of the beef… Simply perfection. Great for soft tacos and even better if you have the taste for the hot sauce.

Great little place. Great salsa, great food. Pretty fair prices too. It looks like it starts getting busy around lunch.

Hands down my favorite taco spot. If you want some good tacos de carne asada this is the place to be. I’ve tried the burritos and those are pretty darn good as well.
The carne asada and the great service is what makes Sergio’s stand out from the rest. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and have brought many friends here who leave with happy tummies!

My boyfriend and I always had this ‘who has the best tacos/​burritos spot war!!!’ I showed him alberts and tacos chihuahua from norwalk, and all he had to show me was Sergios.
And…BAM! He kinda won! Lol! Although he’ll settle with one of my spots if we’re around ^-^
They seriously have the nicest employees. It doesnt matter what time you come in they will gladly help you, and listen so to your order is done right. Their food has never disappointed us. The kids love their tacos, bean and rice combos or super nachos. I personally love their chili relleno combo, and my boyfriend loves their taco, burritos, and menudo, and salsas!
Now that we both search for another place to top sergios we just haven’t found anywhere else (yet) that’s been able to top it!

If you grew up in montebello you know the three places to grub. And Sergio’s tacos is definitely one of them. Along with Arry’s and Rios pizza. I’ve had king taco and Sergio’s and I have to go with the size of the burrito and super nachos from Sergio’s over the king taco any day. No competition. Still has a hole in the wall feel to it.

In an area with a lot of Mexican food I give it 3 stars. The carne Asada is flavorful and tender. I got the burrito and the meat really stood out. But the rest of the burrito was average. The rice didn’t have a good texture and the beans were too mushy. Also, the tortilla was flaky. The carnitas was pretty good, but I don’t eat much of it so it’s difficult to compare. I think that if I got just carne Asada tacos I would have been a lot more satisfied– like for a 4 – 5 rating– however, the burrito is average!

Tried the menudo for the first time this morning, it was clean and very delicious. I ordered to go to enjoy at home, they provided all the fixings limes, oregano, red pepper, tortillas. I was very satisfied with my breakfast choice this morning. Other foods I order regularly are the carne asada tacos and all meat carne asada burrito. Green salsa is the best.

Last night I went on a mission al pastor. I visited 3 taquerias in search of REAL tacos al pastor (eg, like you would find in Mexico City, roasted on a spit with a pineapple at the top).
Sergio’s in Montebello was the first stop as it was closest to my in-​laws’ house.
I ordered 5 tacos: 2 al pastor, 2 carne asada and 1 pollo. The lady spoke quickly and in Spanish and my Spanish is rusty. I just kind of agreed to everything and $ 7 + change later, I had 5 fantastic tacos.
They had a generous helping of salsa roja which was fantastically spicy. It was too spicy for my lady so I got her chicken taco too, which was fine by me (I love spicy food). The seasoning and quality of meat was fantastic. The chicken was tinga-​style, the carne asada had some nice crispy edges but was still moist and delicious. The pastor was flavorful and delicious but was sadly not the legit item roasted on a vertical spit.
Compared to the other 2 places we visited, service was fast and friendly and they also had a beautiful mural inside. Prices were reasonable (eg, less expensive than King Taco) and portions were generous (eg, bigger tacos than KT).
