Pin Up BOOtique

Last night me & my sister swung by this place to purchase wedding dresses and wow, I must say they had a wonderful selection and the women that helped us out were extremely helpful.
2 of us walked out with a dress.
Gosh, wish I remembered the chicks name that helped us out! :(she was so awesome haha…
Anyway great selection!
Much better than the set up at Ontario Mills and another pinup shop in West Co., definitely would recommend coming here!

I LOVE THE PINUP BOOTIQUE! Amy and Monique are always helpful when I go in for my purchases and they’re so nice to me. I’m surprised I see negative comments but as myself in retail I think it’s the customers that have the problem. Every time I go in the store the staff is so kind and is willing to more than help you find what you’re looking for. I wish I could give this store more than 5 stars because these Unilocal reviews are not the business. My relationship with the staff has got to the point where I’ll pop in with coffee or just tips on fashion. I sympathize with the staff. It’s not easy working retail in Montebello. I used to work at the mall as well and many of the customers expect you to break the policies. I love how these workers can still help you while maintaining the rules. That’s how you keep a business thriving. I can’t wait to do my Christmas shopping at the BOOTIQUE. You guys rock my socks!

Poor customer service. The employee locked the door 5 minutes to close. I asked her to please open the door so I could purchase 1 item for my daughter. No we are closed, even though the rest of the mall remained open. Terrible customer service.
Gilda was the name of the employee. I only know this because another employee finally let me in at 9:05, buy a $ 60 item and leave. Took longer arguing with Gilda to let me in then to spend $ 60.
I will never buy anything from here again due to poor customer service. You have been warned.

I Bought a dress on Sunday which I felt in love with but the only problem was that they gave me the wrong petticoat. So today I went to exchange and they couldn’t help me because the store manager wasn’t there. Apparently the petticoat they gave me was $ 40 and the one they were supposed to give me was worth 20 $.

I stumbled upon this amazing find about 3 years back. My best friend and I were looking for the perfect birthday outfit for her big 21^st! This adorable shop did not disappoint! We found the cutest shoes and the softest cardigan ever! That was it! I was officially hooked!
They switched locations within the mall and they seem to be thriving! I love they’re awesome selection of vintage tshirts and hair accessories! But I have to say what I love the most about this place is the amazing customer service!
For my cousins college graduation, we knew just where to go for that Hawaiian pin up dress! Justin was there! He’s the sweetest! He always gives us the best advice and is ready to help!
We always look forward to our visits. Though, the last two times I went justin wasn’t in. I have a baby shower coming up so I’ll be in soon for that «it» dress! I hope he will be there for more fashion advice and laughs!

Very disappointing about how they treat there customers. Wanted to return some shoes, the customer in front of me got full refund CASH! When it came to me, Sales Are Final, i had bought the shoes within 5 days. Salesperson told me no refunds only credit. When i asked her about the customer in front of me, she got full refund, no comment. The customer even turned around and said to me «they are great, they will help you out «, no they only help who they see fit. Never coming in again, no need.

The staff is very friendly and they sell so many beautiful dresses. I took my best friend Scarlet to this shop and she completely fell in love with it. I’m so glad I took her before she passed away. She was from Colorado so she never saw these types of stores. I swear she bought almost everything in that store. She got shoes, dresses, petticoats, purses and hair accessories. Scarlet looked amazing in their clothes. The staff was amazing at helping her out. This store will always remind me of her happiness. I hope the staff and owner are doing well. I wish them nothing but the best for their business.

Super helpful and friendly staff!!! Even though I didn’t find what I was specifically looking for I know I’ll be back for their adorable shirts and cardys. Also they carry my fave Lux De Ville and have the bags that just came out not to long ago. I cannot possibly see why anyone would rate poorly unless they expected to be served hand a foot. If you want a personal shopper hire one.

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Pin Up BOOtique! This store is Trans Friendly! I explained that I am looking for a unique dress for an event, and the sales girls were enthusiastic about helping me find exactly what I wanted! I tried on several dresses! They have beautiful designs in sizes ranging from Small to XXXL. If you don’t see your size on the floor, be sure to ask, because they do keep stock in back!
Dresses range from $ 70 to $ 90 for most of the new designs. There are plenty of matching accessories and handbags. The prices are reasonable for these unique designs. I will definitely be making another visit!

I always leave the Pinup Bootique happy, I’ve been going here for 3 years and I must say I have always recieved the best service. Moe and Justin are the absolute best, very helpful, very friendly, they make each visit the enjoyable. I love shopping at this Bootique!

I went to this store last Friday looking for some gloves, hair accessory and a parasol. Store is great! Staff was rude and seemed to be annoyed. Two girls working there one with red hair and a brunette. Both were rude and the red hair girl kept cutting me off while talking and kept asking «OK so are you ready to pay» every 5 seconds. I read other reviews where other customers complained about the same employees. Maybe hiring employees that like their job or retrain them so they can provide good customer service. If they don’t like their job maybe they should rethink about getting different job.

Went in here looking for a poodle skirt for my daughter and I ended up buying her a very pretty lil red dress. Great quality at a decent price. The girls at the store were very helpful. We went to a 50’s themed party this weekend and my lil one won t est dressed. Thanks Pin Up Bootique!!!

I came in here looking for a dress for a special occasion. I was immediately approached by one of the girls, she had red hair and asked me if she could help me, I told her «I’m looking for a dress» and before i could finish my sentence she cuts me off and says «we have a lot of dresses.» Captain obvious. So I told her I’m looking for a dress appropriate for a wedding. She then asked me for a budget I told her I didn’t have a budget and she showed me one dress, I didn’t like it (When I told her I didn’t like the dress she picked for me, it was like I insulted her) I asked if I could try a dress I was keeping an eye on and as soon as she got the dress in her hands she says «Oh just to let you know this is more than $ 200» seriously? I didn’t even ask! If I wanted to know the price to something I would of asked or simply look at the price tag. After that I got my things from the changing rooms and left. I’m sorry but that was beyond rude. Right from the start she was extremely rude. The clothes are lovely but I’m definitely not coming back.

This place is located in the montebello mall. I don’t care for the mall much unless I really need something. I walked into the store and the two employees were nice and friendly. Store was clean and organized. They do have a plus size section but not to many choices to choose from. I do like a lot of the clothing and accessories but I also find them quite expensive. Sadly I didn’t buy anything because it was like three hundred dollars for a plus size dress. Um so yeah no way and to much money for the dress and it was not that great of a dress for that amount of money. I have to love it in order to buy something that expensive. Not sure if I will come back or not …

Ill be honest, the clothes are expensive. This isn’t a store you stroll into and just but a dress unless you have a reason, but when I have a reason to buy a dress (their baiting suits, skirts, tops, accessories, ect ect are amazing too) this is my go to place! As an huge pinup couture consumer I have to say everything is very reasonably priced for their brands, and a quick online search would show that nothing is marked up from original price, not to mention it’s all and well kept and stocked. The selection is like nothing I’ve seen before. Although the store itself is no bigger than the typical medium/​small shop in a mall, they carry more than anyone else I’ve ever gone to. I’ve been on multiple occasions, and every time I spend over my budget (not because of pushy sales people, or overpriced items, it’s just because I love their clothing and have trouble leaving without everything) and come out with dresses and skirts I love with all my soul.
The service is really hit and miss, sometimes there are girls who obviously look into pinup/​rockabilly, and are very helpful and attentive, and others I’m stuck with this one specific older lady who looks like she hates being there and doesn’t want anyone talking to her or asking for help. That is literally my only complaint.
Seriously, I drive up to four hours to come to this store whenever I have a reason to, it’s that great! This is one of my top suggestions for those who are interested in pinup/​rockabilly couture!

Love this store. Ladies are very polite an attentive with everyone. Definitely recommend this store employees make you feel welcomed.

Let me start off by saying that I always hesitate to go to vintage and pinup clothing stores because some employees can be so stuck up. But not here, the girls and gentlemen were so kind. They helped me pick out a dress and helped me try it on. They offer PUG clothing as well and Lux De Ville purses. I purchased a Voodoo Vixen dress and will surely be coming back. Worth the 45 minute drive. Thank you!

So apparently this store has been around for 2 years and I didn’t know about?! For shame! In my defense, I don’t come down this side of town but on this day I did and I am glad I did because I found Pin Up Bootique. I must say that they aren’t many pin up/​retro stores around and I am always excited to find one, I bought a pair of stockings with the thin line going through the back of the legs and a Voodoo Vixen Tiki sweater that goes perfect with my Stop Staring red and black dress. Super excited about my purchases and I can’t wait to return for more. The staff were helpful, friendly and nice. They have a wide selection of appeal for men and women and accessories to go with your style. This a must go to spot for those that love all things vintage/​rockabilly/​rock n roll, but in reality, anyone!

I NEVER knew that they had a pin-​up store (and it was because of the other location was tucked away in the corner of the Montebello Town Center). Anyways — this new location is right across from Macy’s Home, Starbucks, Forever 21, and See’s Candies, right in the middle of the Town Center. Awesome exposure for this little store.
They have the cutest outfits and helpful associates/​owners there. She was super duper helpful — and I wish I remembered her name (besides the fact that I’m terrible with names to start with). I have always loved the pin up style, but know I don’t’ have the body type/​persona/​aura to do it justice. I’d just look like a poser, and I admit it.
However, she did suggest «tamer», more mainstreamed outfits with a pin up flare. A few styles and items to flatter. I’ll be back when I’m ready and all. The prices are reasonable — and they’re always looking for designers to add to their collections.
They carry up to 4x. So it’ll work for most people. :) Come and see them.
