This new store they moved to is nice but the staff is rude especially the tallest girl there with the dark hair and light skin. She’s not helpful at all. I’m definitely going to contact corporate

Came to do a return from the internet today, and it was the slowest, most painful process ever. Particularly unhelpful manager who(wrongly) said that I couldn’t get a 20% promotion if I was applying credit from a return, as opposed to cash. Um, why would the price depend on the manner of payment? Thankfully their computer system was smarter than she was and let me get the discount. Returning two items and buying one probably took 10 minutes at the register, maybe more.

The only time I come in to mother hood is to purchase body boost crème. The best ever by the way to avoid itch and stretch marks, now at 25 weeks have yet to see anything ! Anyways, every time I walk into this store with my boyfriend the sales associates are BOTH at the register talking. Say hello without even a proper acknowledgment. They do not ask if you need help or have questions. I then asked if they have anymore of the crème & they stood their looking at us with a snotty face, the tall blonde haired girl is the worst! Being that I work in retail myself and our number one goal is to supply great customer service and overall just common sense to not be rude. I expect other businesses as well. Especially being pregnant, you want your experience walking in to this store to be great. Not frustrating and rude. I’m so over this store. No wonder it’s always empty! Thanks for nothing

If Unilocal had –0 stars that’s what this specific motherhood maternity store would receive! I’m only 18weeks pregnant and was embarking in the new journey of spending lots of money on my growing belly. I came into the store last night looking to buy two pairs of maternity jeans. Once I’d selected them I was told by the manager herself(blonde short hair women) and her assistant manager that jeans we’re buy 1 get one 50%. On counter I was about to purchase 2 packets of maternity underwear and two maternity jeans. My transaction had come out to over $ 100 and I the customer had to stop her and say, wasn’t I told I’d have one pair of jeans discounted? At first they both manager and assistant didn’t say anything and I was then told they couldn’t give me the discount because one pair was from Jessica Simpson and the other from«motherhood» although they had seen the jeans that I was purchasing and they both are sold under the same label telling me if have one discounted to me. I said if that’s the case charge me full price on the Jessica’s and 50% off yours. Nope the manager said… There’s nothing I can do for you! Wow! Really the manger herself couldn’t acomadate a buying customer?! They said they would have to call there district manager analisa Henderson and get it approved by her. Left the store empty handed gave them my number and left a very upset customer. After leaving I called 2 other motherhood stores and both said they would be able to make the exception no problem and would in fact put them on hold for me! Ten min later I got a call from montebello and was told that analisa had approved it and the 4 items would be put on hold for me until the next day. I decide since montebello was closer id go there the next day. I get there the next day! And surprise more headaches for the pregnant customer that should/could have been accommodated the night before! I was told by te associate she did not have the items and there was nothing on hold! She called the same blonde who told her SHEPUTTHEMBACKONTHEFLOORAFTERTELLINGHERCUSTOMERTOCOMEBACKTHENEXTDAY! Surprise surprise the girl didn’t even know what items they were. I had to show her the pics and she said, uh we don’t have them. She proceeded to ring other customers as I stood there and waited. What I assumed would be a 5 min or less trip turned into 45 min and again I left empty handed. And even more frustrated then the first time! I told the associate to give me analisas number the district manger! Called her maybe 13 times out of frustration. She called me back and asked what happened. I explained my situation. My frustration, and I didn’t not feel helped by her as well! She said well what can I do for you montebello motherhood had a bathroom flood and they didn’t want to keep my clothes in the back! HOWISTHATANEXCUSE! First of all you keep clothes on hold for customers in the bathroom?! They could have easily put it on the register or an a rack with a paper over the hangers saying hold! Lisa said they can’t keep clothes on the counter! Really? Because I saw lots of clothes on the register hanging out. The most pathetic excuse ever! They could have done something. Lisa then said I could call another store for you. HELLOIMTELLINGYOU I DIDTHATALREADY! I could do that myself! If at lest want to be compensated in the gas money I wasted by driving down to an empty promise! In the form of an overall discount. She then said I can’t do that for you. I’ll have to get in contact with corporate to see what I can do for you give me your email. Wow! What a HEADACHE!!! Thanks for looking out for your pregnant customer motherhood! By the end of my pregnancy probably would have easily spent a few hundred at this store but now I prefer telling every pregnant women I know about my experience and will be purchasing at a different pregnancy clothes chain. I work in retail myself and we have always cared how we can look out for our company by accommodating the customer as best as we can. If we’re going to tell someone to come back you better believe I’m not keeping there products in a bathroom or running back on the floor! This store is pathetic! Let alone the people in «charge» who can’t help you anyway. Do your self a favor mommy after all the stress your already dealing with don’t add more to it by coming here! Best of luck.

Friendly and helpful staff who are not pushy. Nice variety of maternity clothes. They also have a clearance section in the back.
