The food here is so good! The chicken and smash potatoes are not only great for me but also my husbands tiny one who is a picky eater!

Food here is great! I think it is better than any other food place at the food court! The chicken is always so tasty! I recommend the chicken bowl with a side of Texas toast!

I often use to go purchase food from chicken now and have been a loyal customer, however after my last experience I will never go back! I had purchased food from another fast food restaurant at the mall that day and my 2 yr old wanted ketchup, the restaurant where I purchased my daughter’s food was bombarded with people, so I decided to go next door to chicken now to grab some ketchup. The lady at chicken now rudely stated” what there was no ketchup anywhere else?!” Simply because I didn’t purchase food from them that day. I responded by telling her that it was for my daughter and it was just ketchup. She then stated that if I didn’t purchase I can’t get ketchup. She Acted Like She Owns The place and purchased the ketchup from her own pocket! I left informing her that she has poor communication skills and poor customer service and would be contacting her
I walked away she continued to stare at me and give me dirty looks. I mean it’s only ketchup and it’s a food court ! I’ve obtained napkins and straws from other restaurants at the mall and have never been approached in such a rude and unprofessional manner. I did call the manager and he was just as bad, he defended her actions and didn’t bother to listen to my concerns. I think all staff from chicken now either need to be retrained or they should hire less bitter unprofessional staff!

A fast food chicken tender place that is similar to Raising Canes. The food here is ok but is not up to the quality of Raising Canes, but this place is available in California. I come here occasionally and the food is always consistent. I return when I am in the mood.

Unfortunately Unilocal DOESN’T LOVE YOU! Not me at least! Came in today with my little family, we got to the register and an old ass lady name SARA had a face like she hates LIFE! RUDE ASS LADY! Ugh! I was extremely nice to her, and she looked at me and my family as if we were bothering her! Still order our food because we are fans of chicken now, but this will be the last time we go to this location. I do hope that the owner reads these reviews, if you are reading this, please hire friendly ppl that actually want to work with ppl skills. Someone that doesn’t mind to Smile at customers as they approach them. We are PAYING CUSTOMERS! You will loose business this way no matter how busy the mall is! The food court is a competition on its own the other food options. Because of ppl like SARA you can loose you’re location. It’s not worth it!

Horrible service … Manager David has no idea what he is doing and the female workers are the worse … If the owner is reading this please make your phone number available because I have asked for it multiple times and they refused to give it to me … I gave 1 star because I have to otherwise it would be a negative –10 !

If you’re looking for a healthy chicken wrap, I recommend the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap. It’s my Fav! Their Crispy Southwest Chicken wrap is also good. The only problem I have with this place is that they take a really looong time to make the food. The service is «alright» in my opinion.

Not gonna lie, I love this place. However I visited today at about 8:50PM. When I approached the young girl working on register she was counting the money ready to cash out. I asked her if they’re still open and she rudely responded with a quick no. This place closes at 9PM however it seems as though the employees are more concerned with leaving at 9 rather than beginning to close at 9. It’s a shame but I definitely won’t be coming back here.

Horrible service!!! The girl and the women that work the counter most of the time have no idea what customer service is. no smile and they act like they are doing us a favor by taking our order. Attitude beyond belief. I’m a retail manager and this team would so be fired!

Hell no! NEVER AGAIN! this place charged me $ 7 for a «Caesar wrap» that little wrap was a size of a taco I can get for a $ 1. This was a smaller size than a wrap from McDonald’s. Ripped me off. I loved this place so much and I would always go there but nope not anymore. The people working there even told me I should of gotten something else or not bought there food. SMH

Don’t do it!!! Pass up on this place. Worst Chicken Now location I’ve ever been to. Luke warm heat lamp tasting and fatty chicken tender pieces; GROSS!!! Barfffff ! Stingy on napkins — asked for extra and was only given one.

Contrary to some of the other reviews posted on here, I pretty much love Chicken Now. It’s my go-​to food spot at the mall.
Today I got the Kids Tender Meal which comes with two pieces of chicken, fries and a child size drink. The chicken is juicy and is made out of this world delicious with the spicy grandma sauce. I am a total sucker for good sauce & I don’t know what’s in this one, but it’s good. My fries were hot and toasty. The meal says it’s a kids meal, but I find it satisfying and don’t feel like I over ate, its a decent sized portion.
I am sure I will be back again… thank you special sauce.

My fave place! I always get the four piece tender box. Yummy crispy chicken & fries w that soft yet crunchy toast. I always get ranch & spicy sauce. Only downfall of this meal… Doesn’t come w a drink. For a long time, when they offered «what kind of drink», I thought it came w it. I had no idea they upsold me every time until my mom pointed it out on my receipt. LOL.

SUPER EXCITED they have KOOL-​AID here, and will definitely be back for that reason, alone. It was so good.
The chicken here is good, the batter is a bit different, and provides a nice soft crunch with good cuts of chicken.
The meals come with your choice of two sides, between about 6 different sides, we were forced with fires and toast, as they did not have any others available which kind of sucked.
The fries were not very warm, and were a bit soggy along with a tad sweetness flavor.
The hunny-​mustard sauce had a hint of tarter sauce flavor and mayonnaise = (
Chicken is good, and great that they have KOOL-​AID, not sure how likely I would go back, but not horrible, nor the best.

The chicken tenders with a side of Texas toast and fries along their w/​spicy grandma sauce (???) were my go to combination along with some kool aid.
So I said WERE and here’s why.
I VOWED TO *N E V E R* EAT AT A CHICKEN NOW EVER AGAIN!
It was not the fries, nor the kool aid but the CHICKEN! So on my lunch break I went got my food and saw something that caught my eye.
THERE WAS A HAIR STUCK TO MY CHICKEN!
I’m talking about stuck! It was not on top but somehow it was embedded in the chicken.
So I went to the cashier and I told her what I saw. She looked at me with a little disbelief and I quickly responded by telling her it was not mine because there was no way it could have gotten stuck like that. She said okay and tried to replace my meal. I asked for my money back instead she agreed but did not apologize.

NEVER go to eat anything at Chicken Now at the mall from Montebello, I’ve been sick during the whole week since I had lunch there, I went to see a doctor finally and I have salmonella !!! I feel so miserable, this disease is so painful !!!
I had a chicken salad with a caesar sauce on the side, everything had a good taste but I was a bit suspicious about the sauce because it was really warm in the cups, it can only come from this place, I didn’t eat anything before or after and I was sick a few hours later until now (7 days).
I came here for vacations, I am from Paris, nice vacations for me, I would never imagine this disease could still exist in California !!!
Be sure I will do my best to report this place to the government for food poisoning, I can’t believe people working in this place can sell unfresh food, they should learn how to keep the food fresh and get rid of the bad ones instead of spending so long perfecting their make up.
I read a review before mine about somebody who had to drive the kids at the hospital after eating there, you should report this too for the safety of everybody !

Was walking through the mall with my friend, she led me to the food court because I was hungry. I couldn’t decide what to get because all the restaurants looked good and I was very hungry. I never heard of Chicken Now and never had she so we both decided to try it.
I wasn’t impressed, I got a chicken wrap with fries. Parts of the chicken wrap were good but overall there was too much lettuce inside and not much chicken. The Fries seemed kind of hard but I couldn’t bring myself to eat them all. My friend didn’t like her food much and tried to give it to me, i tried a little but didn’t like it.
Maybe we didn’t get a good experience since the restaurant had just opened for the day.
