Hickory Farms

Hickory Farm sells their product all year long online, but I usually only see them around Christmas time. They have awesome gift packages that have combinations of meats, cheeses, crackers and sauces. They also sell special holiday season chocolates that make great stocking stuffers.
The service isn’t always efficient and you can end up waiting around a bit to pay for your stuff since the staff is seasonal workers. I wish they hired a more qualified staff even if the position is temporary.
I usually come by twice during the holiday season. On my first visit, I would buy the gift packages for my parents to give away to their friends. The gift packages are pretty versatile and they make wonderful family gift for everyone to enjoy. Then I usually come back one more time after Christmas is over to stock up on the Beef Summer Sausage since my dad loves it! After Christmas, the booth is only there up until the weekend after, but everything is 50% off! Woo hoo! 50% off the crackers, 50% the cheese, 50% off the meats and 50% off the candy. By this time there usually isn’t anymore gift packages, but the 50% off deal is still so affordable you can just buy everything separately. I actually like it better that way cause I can get the ratio of what my family prefers. I mean, who needs two sauces after the sausage and cheese runs out? :)

Beef Summer Sausage sliced and cooked in a light oil (skillet). Then drizzle with Sweet & Sour Sauce. Enjoey!
