LEFT HAND Coffee

J’aurais pu adorer ce café s’ils né m’avaient pas empoisonnée…
Sévèrement intolérante au lait je demande ma boisson avec du lait d’amande.
Lorsque je la bois je trouve que ça n’a pas du tout un goût de lait d’amande mais confirmation est faite qu’il s’agit bien de lait d’amande… Sauf que 30 minutes plus tard je suis extrêmement mal en point et je passerai la nuit dans un état lamentable… Bref merci Left hand coffee… C’est tellement normal de prendre à la légère ce genre de choses !

This is a tough one. The décor is totally «we’re Starbucks without being Starbucks.» Chalkboard paint, raw wood, etc. Only 4 chairs. Very Hamptons attitude. And definitely $$$
That being said… omg. The Nutella latte is to die for. I want a dozen of them at once. And the large cookies are worth the calories. Definitely give them a try!

Came here for a Coffee Tauk cappuccino this morning only to be shocked when it wasn’t there anymore. Left Hand apparently took this place over during the winter months and opened about 4 weeks ago.
The entire place has been revamped and changed around stylistically — very rustic and cabin-​like. Dark wood and wide planks. A huge change from Tauk’s natural vibes, so it’s a bit odd when you walk in (especially if you’re a Coffee Tauk native).
The workers are still there from CT, and they’re still nice people, of course. I got the cappuccino (my usual measuring stick of a coffee spot), and my wife got the coffee. She didn’t like hers at all (I’m sure she’ll review), but my cappuccino wasn’t bad — just okay. It definitely had some strong flavor, but tasted a bit off. I can’t put my finger on what tasted off specifically, but it wasn’t a usual cappuccino taste. However, as the drink went on, I didn’t find myself disliking it as much.
It sucks that this is the only real coffee spot in Montauk, and of course I’ll be back due to demand with short supply. I’ll give it more of a shot with their other drinks and update as needed.
