While this is not the same Brock’s that operated in this location for decades it is one of the such businesses around. The original owner took a great deal of pride in the business. While I am not sure the same is true of the current owner it seems to be doing ok. I have taken my chainsaw in for sharpening. I prefer to wait while it is done and the first time it was about 15 minutes before the tech could start on it. He got it done quickly and it worked fine. Yesterday I took an edger in for my daughter as she wanted the blade sharpened. When I looked at her blade I knew right away it needed a replacement. They did not have the proper blade in stock and the clerk ordered one for me. I was told it should be 4 – 5 business days before it arrives. We shall see. I have already paid for the new blade, should it not arrive in a timely manner I may be revising my rating of Brock’s.
While they do accept credit cards they do not take American Express.

I’ve gone to Brocks over the years because they are close. I have never really been happy with their service but it beat driving 20min away for a part. I recently dropped off my chainsaw to get the chain sharpened and have a replacement chain made. 10 days went by with no call. I went to ask if my saw was ready because I needed it the next day. The guy to me to come 1^st thing tomorrow and it would be ready. I showed up and he was out to lunch and my saw wasn’t ready. 12 days for such a simple task is too long. That is the last time I will ever go back here.

The chain from my old BCL gate opener broke & I needed to replace it asap. Unfortunately, BCL is out of business so a replacement was hard to find. A friend of mine recommended this place and I asked if they can repair the chain. They said they can replace the links but also recommended to just replace the whole chain since it was full of rust and old. For $ 6 more, I opted for the new chain which was created in about 10 minutes. Friendly and helpful staff! Highly Recommended!
